    When I watched the address (without thinking about it), I saw a president, a vice-president, and the speaker of the house.

    It is the people that still see "half-black guy, white guy, and woman" that slow down the progress of eliminating discrimination, and these are the same people to scream "racist or sexist" in response to any criticism.

You may disagree with Katie Couric's opinion that what she saw was progress. You may say she said something stupid. You can't say she was racist for saying Joe Biden was white.
