- sassip, on 07/20/2008, -0/+3George: "But, that's not a denial." Rove: "Humna, humna, humna." Very reminiscent of Ralph Kramden... When he was caught with his pants down.
- Ralphdraw3, on 07/20/2008, -0/+5I wonder how many signatures will this Rove petition draw. Despite all the activity about Rove here, there are only about 50,000 signers. We really have to put the heat on Congress... (phone number 202-224-3121) I think I will cam Wexler, Kucinich and Sanchez's offices on Monday about Rove and see what is cooking..
- ironcar222, on 07/20/2008, -0/+0Ralph!!!! Here you are!! this is Boomer1949. I agree with you one hundred percent. The goods are there to bring the case against Rove and he does not have executive privilege as Waxler has stated, amoung others. So turning up the heat on Waxler to arrest him for contempt and throw his ass in jail by way of a few well placed phone calls would be the way to go, as well as the petition.
- wesdenton, on 07/20/2008, -0/+1I don't see how he can continue to claim executive branch privilege when he is no longer a part of that branch. Isn't he a private citizen now or do we have to wait until the Bush term is over?
- ironcar222, on 07/20/2008, -0/+0What's interesting is the words he choose to use. He didn't say he had nothing to do with bringing the case against Seigelman. What he said was "I heard, read the case for the first time in the newspaper." Well, you strong arm the justice department, then leave. Then read about the case going forward in the paper and smile to yourself about a job well done.
- Fangsinmybeard, on 07/20/2008, -0/+1He's a crafty little imp of a demon.
