- redmannine, on 05/28/2008, -2/+537well I am glad a BBC reporter has got them, and hopefully will spread the contents
- mentallyinhell, on 05/28/2008, -13/+479BBC got it before fox, now we can have truth without propaganda.
- rebotfc, on 05/28/2008, -5/+356This was aired in September 2007, and what has happened since then, what has MSM in the U.S. done?
Nothing .
It's a sad day when a countries populace cannot trust it's own press to uncover the truth. - inactive, on 05/28/2008, -9/+310Wow, could this serve to convict this criminal?
- khail250, on 05/28/2008, -12/+302Nothing is ever going to happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'(
- Zippo, on 05/28/2008, -22/+191How exactly do you "accidentally" e-mail 500 e-mails?
- Dumbledorito, on 05/28/2008, -4/+149Want to lay odds that Rove will file a lawsuit to "reclaim his rightful property" or some similar *****?
- jeremyduffy, on 05/28/2008, -3/+104So these are some of the emails that "mysteriously disappeared" from Whitehouse servers? Too bad he can't go to jail for this. As long as Bushie is in the house, all his crime buddies will get commuted sentences or pardons.
- AbdullahAbuDawu, on 09/12/2008, -7/+78Internet : 1
Karl Rove : 0 - jaymzdean, on 05/28/2008, -18/+88Accidentally emailing 500 emails. How, pray tell, does that happen? I'll tell you. When you want to release a red herring.
- rpi22, on 05/28/2008, -0/+68he sent them to georgewbush.ORG instead of georgewbush.COM
If you go to DotOrg, you can tell its a satirical parody site instead of the GOP propaganda wing. - elamr, on 05/28/2008, -1/+66MSM does exactly what it is supposed to do. Control the mainstream.
- VinCenT13, on 05/28/2008, -1/+57How about the full 64 minute version?
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3954858769 ... - BXRWXR, on 05/28/2008, -3/+57Curses! I hate that "Reply To All" button!
- mrtrevin, on 05/28/2008, -0/+53Part of me wonders if Rove did this intentionally just to prove he can get away with anything.

We, the People - 0 - o0joshua0o, on 05/28/2008, -1/+49This reminds me of the time I accidentally downloaded 30gb of pr0n.
- jemka, on 05/28/2008, -4/+51I wonder if he immediately wished he had the AOL unsend button.
- Swanston, on 05/28/2008, -2/+39You clearly didn't watch the video...
- matriculated, on 05/28/2008, -2/+38The same way they get accidentally deleted.
- inactive, on 05/28/2008, -1/+33Nah, its up to bloggers and diggers to spread this video around like crazy. The same way that Bill Oreilly's "***** Thing Sucks" made it to the MSM, this is what we have to do.
- rpi22, on 05/28/2008, -3/+34that's why we have digg
- usingpond, on 05/28/2008, -1/+32How is reporting that 500 deleted emails were sent out propaganda? Does anyone besides me see the irony in Republicans not really knowing what propaganda means?
- SuperMoses, on 05/28/2008, -0/+25Nothing did happen, Palast received these emails a long time ago, reported on them extensively but the MSM virtually ignored them.
- analogkid01, on 05/28/2008, -6/+31oh oh oh oh look a Bush supporter trying to distract people from a miserable failure of a president by insulting the public forum they frequent!
- IllBeBack, on 05/28/2008, -13/+36"Oh, O am proud to be an American... c'mon guys, you know the words!"
But obviously you do not know the words. - pianomahnn, on 05/28/2008, -9/+32Nothing will change unless an army of armed civilians march on the Capital. Sad but true.
- Barclay1188, on 05/28/2008, -0/+22Good assumption, Watson.
- veijeri, on 05/28/2008, -2/+24Actively disenfranchising soldiers in Iraq is incredibly depressing. If this is really a year old, let's hope digging it will give it the attention this deserves on this side of the pond.
- pegothejerk, on 05/28/2008, -2/+23You have to have someone willing to prosecute in order to convict. The GOP excels at covering that base.
- evilcaptain, on 05/28/2008, -3/+23When is the benefit of doubt going to be revoked for these scumbags?
Surely it's better to be safe and check any potentially corrupt mismanagement.
and don't call me Shirley - sfrench, on 05/28/2008, -2/+22whoops!
- dazparkour, on 05/28/2008, -4/+24The EXACT same way you accidentally DELETE thousands of emails. Accidentally. *Wink*.
- chrissku, on 05/28/2008, -2/+21We must demand that the BBC release these emails!!!!!!
- cheezintern, on 05/28/2008, -2/+21Fox would never report this type of story in a million years since it portrays a neo-con leader as something other than a demi-god.
- piper999, on 05/28/2008, -2/+21They aren't allowed into Zimbabwe because they will report what is happening truthfully. Rather obviously, you dopey pedantic moron.
- tech10171968, on 05/28/2008, -2/+21Yeah, I consider myself a bit of a conservative but if we have to play the game like this to win, then we *deserve* to lose. Karl Rove can kiss my ass; he's given me yet another reason to break ranks and vote for Obama.
The election of our next President is too damned important for this kind of dishonesty. - str1fe, on 05/28/2008, -2/+19It's okay, go back to fox.
- luchid, on 05/28/2008, -5/+22Typical stupid neocon. Burying your head in the sand. Please open your eyes.
- jwolcott, on 05/28/2008, -1/+16"Karl Rove Accidently Emailed 500 Deleted Emails to Reporter"
Karma's a bitch. - drlha, on 05/28/2008, -2/+16They aren't allowed in Zimbabwe because:
a) The truth hurts.
b) They broadcast to Zimbabweans via the BBC World Service. - DyceFreak, on 05/28/2008, -1/+15the more people that know about it...
the more people will realize that we have no true power... - Hypersapien, on 05/28/2008, -1/+14Simple. Just wait until next year before we prosecute
- SuperMoses, on 05/28/2008, -5/+18BBC is not always reliable, but Greg Palast tends to be. This is also old news and as you can expect, it received virtually no coverage in the MSM.
- vexingmodstwo, on 05/28/2008, -3/+15September 30, 2007... You'd think that in the eight months since these 500 emails were sent (assuming this film was made around the time the emails were sent) that the details of these 500 emails would have, oh I don't know, become more public? Or is this guy completely clueless as to how to post stuff on the internet?
- mrbeagle, on 05/28/2008, -0/+12So where's the rar containing the e-mails?
- moxley, on 05/28/2008, -0/+12I don't think they would have to be armed. I think a large enough crowd (say 500000+) who refused to take no for an answer and went where they pleased would do the trick.
I think everyone SHOULD be armed in their home, but arming yourself and marching on DC is asking for trouble. True, you should be able to do it legally - but realistically you'd get ***** and all sorts of bad ***** would happen. It would give the fascists an excuse to open fire and jail mass gorups of people and declare martial law (which is likely coming anyways). - Timetheos, on 05/28/2008, -3/+15Everyone, including you and me, are biased. It's just a question of degree and direction. That said, I would put the vast majority of BBC content against Faux News content anytime (for minimized bias).
- usingpond, on 05/28/2008, -0/+11I wish you would have thought that way about the case for the war.
- SuperMoses, on 05/28/2008, -2/+12From my recollection (this happened a long time ago, btw) the guy emailed them to an incorrect email address, something like karl.rove@whitehouse.com (note: I don't remember if that was the domain used).. and this fake domain was owned by Palast's friend. So the guy sent it to the fake domain accidentally, rather than the real domain (whitehouse.gov) .. so Palast's friend got them through his catch-all email server.
