- akula696969, on 10/10/2007, -9/+157Dr. Paul is the most articulate and truthful man in politics today. It is not hard to look like you believe in what you are saying when you actually belive in what you are saying.....
- bewth, on 10/10/2007, -14/+155Dr. Paul is doing really good considering that so far hes only spent 650,000 dollars of his campaign money. Can't wait to see what happens when he spends the 3 million that he has!
Also, dugg for saying the anchor is "hot", cause i agree ;) - mrASSMAN, on 10/10/2007, -6/+103Civilized and fair? Fox News?
I'm so confused!
vomit - artmonster, on 10/10/2007, -2/+98I was skeptical about Paul, but after a lot of research, I'm starting to come around. I haven't seen such a great conservative in a while.
- LakeshoreBaby, on 10/10/2007, -14/+109Great Interview.
- qubesquare, on 10/10/2007, -5/+94I used to think i was anti republican and hence pro democrat. But now i just realize i was just anti neo con. Go Ron!
- agentx216, on 10/10/2007, -3/+87I still say that the best interview Ron Paul has done so far has to be the one with Google. He talked about so many topics, with questions from real people not selected beforehand, and he was allowed to speak to questions given to him by a balanced moderator.
- CzarDominus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+84Hehe, did anyone catch the Scrolling News Bar: Fox Facts ---- Rep. Ron Paul has more friends on MySpace then Mitt Romney!......because clearly that's what's important.
- Malakin, on 10/10/2007, -2/+85"We can't even fight this war without borrowing money on a daily basis from China"
What a great quote. I wonder how many Americans have thought about it this way? - eradicator, on 10/10/2007, -2/+61What boos?
- Intervene, on 10/10/2007, -5/+60That interviewer is smoking hot.
- jagermeistr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+53He's getting much better with doing interviews, slowing down a bit and articulating himself better. A key moment in my mind is when Romney was trying to score points off Paul like Rudy did but was drowned out by the audience cheering Paul on.
- SolidSamus, on 10/10/2007, -4/+55yeah. Old school republican. I may not have been around back then...but the more I read on old-school republicans the more I like. And Ron Paul is quickly becoming the candidate that I like.
- softboiled, on 10/10/2007, -8/+56this is kind of ***** up, but i'm starting to like this guy. maybe i'm more conservative than i thought
- Crusty, on 10/10/2007, -1/+46I could watch Julie Banderas read questions and Ron Paul brilliantly answer them all day long. Gorgeous interviewer. Straightforward, articulate candidate. Could an interview be any better than that? I say it cannot.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+46Amen to that. I love the part in the beginning of #2 when she asked him about how associating with Alex Jones can hurt him as a presidential hopeful. He then says "Just think of what it would be like if I went on the major networks when all of them agree on the war .. I'd never get on TV." Ron Paul is awesome.
- backoff34, on 10/10/2007, -0/+43Good, now he needs to get on some more programs. Get him on Leno, Conan, and keep putting him on Colbert and Jon Stewart. If they keep putting his name out there, he could easily get the Republican nomination. I just almost cannot imagine a large enough population of idiots who would nominate any other Republican candidate... but then I realize the people I live near in the abysmal state of Tennessee.
- Jubalicious, on 10/10/2007, -0/+41here is the video you speak of:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCM_wQy4YVg - imgstacke, on 10/10/2007, -1/+38Ron Paul introduces legislation to abolish the FED just about every single year. He did it again this year.
- futureteg, on 10/10/2007, -4/+40you want church to be involved in federal government? wtf
p.s. to answer your next question...yes RP is religious...no his religion won't affect what he'll do as president...because he'll be following the constitution which specifically covers that issue - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+35I love the look on all the other candidates faces when ron speaks. and i love how he shut up mitt romney. he got Ron Pwned!
- spacebetween, on 10/10/2007, -4/+35Fox News...Fair...and balanced???
Hell's a bit cooler tonight. - Charlie230, on 10/10/2007, -1/+31I thought I was a democrat but I actually like this guy, if he gets the republican nomination it would actually be hard decision for me...
- diggdowner, on 10/10/2007, -18/+47Jesus Christ she's ***** beautiful... wow...
Oh yeah go Ron Paul - Urusai, on 10/10/2007, -2/+30Don't look at her, it's a trap!
- j.carcinogen, on 10/10/2007, -25/+53part1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ay7sd0Jx80
part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XKf48VjU2U - jmpeagle, on 10/10/2007, -4/+31he is FOR separation of church and state, I think you are referring to separation of RELIGION and state, which is a totally different issue and he is somewhat against. He views religious institutions as private entities no different than other civilian charities etc and has no problem having the government associate with them whether they be Christian, Jewish, Muslim etc... He is well aware of how our constitution came out of fear of a head of state also being the head of a "state religion". Ron Paul is in now way for a "state religion", that is the antithesis of his view on government.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/10/2007, -0/+27I don't know. maybe the matrix is falling apart.
- Prefection, on 10/10/2007, -10/+36"Hot" anchors are insult to our intellect. I would gladly listen to an anchor that wouldn't be drop dead gorgeous in a bikini. As a member of what is arguably the greatest nation on Earth, I believe that our opinions shouldn't be impaired or influenced by cute newscasters. And isn't it ridiculously degrading to women that plastic surgery is a prerequisite for a position in the public forum.
- Stonedonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+26It looked pretty calculated to me, especially dangling the Alex Jones "association" right before the commercial break.
- Kahnza, on 10/10/2007, -7/+31Majorly awesome things would start happening if Ron Paul were to get elected. I can only hope.
- Roger, on 10/10/2007, -3/+27Ron Paul not too old for you?
- SuperMoses, on 10/10/2007, -3/+27One person saying "boo" does not qualify as "boos". What an asshat this host is.
- diggdowner, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24You wanna stop saying "he'll never get elected"? You're making sound as though you're some noble hero sacrificing your vote for what you think is right.
But that doesn't quite work here, because Ron Paul REALLY IS THE ONLY SANE CHOICE. - BowieX, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24In other words, you were -- like most citizens of "democracy" are -- deceived by the elusive two-party system. I also recently realised I was in the same trap.
- crazydiode, on 10/10/2007, -25/+46not a single question about the economy? does no one care anymore? or is it that fox doesn't care?
- kelchm, on 10/10/2007, -7/+28Ron Pauls wins again.
and yeah anchor is hot. - sanman, on 10/28/2007, -1/+22I think it's because he looks like Frasier's dad.
- jmpeagle, on 10/10/2007, -4/+24maybe you shouldn't click on the link and then comment on a story you have no ineterest in.
- patricklynch, on 10/10/2007, -1/+20Exactly right. I thought it was interesting this morning when he said his major mistake, and one he still sometimes makes, is not to speak out forcefully enough at times. After blocking out Romney, he'll be even better in future debates.
- smackywentz, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19The economy is suffering. What the *****? Do you just pull these ideas out of your ass? Our economy has already started on it's downward trend, know what that means? Recession. What a ***** idiot.
- jmpeagle, on 10/10/2007, -2/+19really? The common accepted view for the cause of the length of the Great Depression is monetary policy caused by the Federal Reserve. Both the steepest and longest recessions in U.S. history are linked to the Federal Reserve. The federal reserve sets monetary policy to discourage saving which is why our investment rate is so low and as Americans we now have a negative savings rate for the 1st time since the great depression.
The current credit crisis in mortgages is the result of fed policy.
Actually, I can't think of any economic problem in the U.S. since the 1970s (excluding oil shocks) that isn't linked to the Fed screwing things up (and that includes the Savings and Loan crisis) - airwalkery2k, on 10/28/2007, -0/+17Yeah, I was a little surprised it came from Fox News even though it was pretty good.
And yet, as interested as I was, like every time I watch that station, I got hypnotized by that spinning block in the bottom left-hand corner. - ButtonMonkey, on 10/10/2007, -10/+27Too bad he gets ignored in all local coverage. In my local market, they kept running the teaser about the GOP debate overtop a video of Obama. During the piece they showed video of Dr. Paul but did not mention him at all.
- fyrehart, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18Gone.
- TheSpore, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17Dugg for the Social Security question! Finally a candidate who wants to let younger workers opt out of Social Security. No longer would I have to give 1/3 of my paycheck to a broken system that's going to go bankrupt long before I retire anyway.
- futureteg, on 10/10/2007, -2/+18last i heard the dollar is worth only 4% of what it was when FED was created. Pretty *****...if you ask me. And lets not forget that the reason we have spikes in the economy is due largely to FED being retarded
- Kenard, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16Of course not, that's Dr. Paul's strong suit. No they had to spend 3 minutes out of the 10 minute interview to talk about 9/11 his link to conspiracy theorists in a vain attempt to discredit him.
- Trooti, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14He was on Jon Stewart and Colbert and it was funny :)
- lostangelonline, on 10/10/2007, -5/+19yeah this interview is awesome ..just because the host put Ron Paul in a dificult situation with "you associate yourself with this guy" , but RP replied so well that the average person who does not believe in 9/11 being an inside job and in the international elites, wouldn't go 'wtf is he talking about?'. All good people loose in front of the bad ones, cause the bad ones exercise their speech a LOT before having an interview...while a sincere person will not....yet i think is great RP doesn't go like Alex John and say the hole thruth, as many don't know and just won't research more and RP...anyway is great that we have people like RP, Alex Jones and Mike Ruppert..and that guy who made Money Changers...and those who made Loose Change...thanks to all for bringing the truth up
