Judicial Tyranny in California
blog.infinitemonkeysblog.com — How else to define rule by judicial fiat rather than rule by the consent of the governed? The California Supreme Court today declared that judges, not the people, will define marriage. If so, what happens to laws banning polygamy? Or laws forbidding the marriage of brothers and sisters, mothers and sons, or fathers and daughters?

However, if the majority of people in my state said they wanted it, then I would have to say the majority ruled and we do live in a representative democracy so that is the way it goes. No where does it say that judges get to decide things like this.
