- papastout, on 08/01/2008, -5/+126A Magistrate in favor of citizen justice? It just seems logical, and yet so rare.
- relic180, on 08/02/2008, -5/+63Well, I would say a judge is probably a lot smarter than all those diggers who continue to piss all over the idea of a citizens arrest because "it's stupid and would never work".
Just because you're a big pussy... - StormyAaron, on 08/02/2008, -4/+61Those four people are true patriots, people willing to stand up to their government and the crimes it committed, our Founding Fathers would praise such efforts. Bravo to the Judge, I hope more citizens and people in government will take inspiration form these four people.
- ballerinaX, on 08/01/2008, -8/+61winds of change!
- neil1492, on 08/01/2008, -6/+55It's only a matter of time.
- relic180, on 08/02/2008, -2/+34He turned into a giant ball of fire and flew away, dropping giant lava turds on the heads of every tax payer he saw.
Then he went home and ate a live baby. - kylerg, on 08/02/2008, -5/+35Why are citizens being forced to take law into their own hands, why not the actually law. Then again, the constitution does say people have the duty and right to take things into their own hand when the government is unfit or despotic.
- inactive, on 08/02/2008, -6/+32You will have to wait until Bush's third term is over, otherwise he will just pardon Rove.
- DesdinovaEL, on 08/02/2008, -1/+23So what happened to rove?
- shaggyb, on 08/02/2008, -6/+27I'm hoping right after that the judge dismissed the case.
- lmp49, on 08/02/2008, -3/+24now that's what I like to call 'direct accountability by the people'
- jlhoben, on 08/02/2008, -8/+23Amen. Bush, Cheney, Rove - all these guys need to be brought to justice.
- relic180, on 08/02/2008, -6/+22Right.. because that makes TOTAL sense. Moron.
- lamiaconfitor, on 08/02/2008, -4/+18Get on it! Ill Proudly attempt an arrest myself if he comes with in 300 miles of me!
- inactive, on 08/02/2008, -3/+17Rove is in contempt. Convict him. Of course Bush will pardon him, but that will just make more people realize what a bunch of crooks have been running the White House for the last 8 years.
- feezus, on 08/02/2008, -5/+17Aaaand you're a pecker.
- BluesFan, on 08/02/2008, -3/+14I won't be happy until Cheney, Bush and the people who helped them ruin this country are hung.
- relic180, on 08/02/2008, -2/+13The police are government, and the government isn't interested in working for the people right now.
Until things are fixed, we (as in U.S. citizens) will probably have to start doing a lot more ***** like this. - dn11, on 08/02/2008, -5/+17and yet he is probably playing golf at this moment
- exgiexpcv, on 08/02/2008, -1/+11I wish I could digg you twice. As in comedy, picking up a woman, fighting, or indicting war criminals, "timing is everything."
This actually needs to be delayed to prevent the current administration from simply pardoning this man, who is a weapons-grade douchebag. - exgiexpcv, on 08/02/2008, -2/+11Ummmm . . . not to be sardonic, but you *do* understand that *some* judges actually respect, and even love the rule of law? So much so that people who repeatedly break laws, defile the Constitution, and wipe their ass with Bill of Rights earn their emnity?
I'm just sayin' . . . - jimmiss, on 08/02/2008, -3/+11It's people who have minds full of ideas like yours that ruin countries, and will probably end up killing us all. On behalf of those of us who have no power other than to sit idly and watch the tide rising up around us... ***** YOU.
- Refluence, on 08/02/2008, -3/+11*****' A.
- dn11, on 08/02/2008, -7/+14LOL, old material buddy, old material. haven't you head you're supposed to be comparing Obama to Parison Hilton now - that is the new talking point.
- graemee, on 08/02/2008, -1/+7The law is the people's law. IIRC that is a founding Principal of the US and why you rebelled from British rule.
- MasterJeweler, on 08/02/2008, -2/+8Iowa is the *****. Some kids in Iowa City got arrested trying to do the same thing last fall.
- dcmjzero, on 08/02/2008, -1/+6he is going to pardon him either way.
- soomprimal, on 08/03/2008, -0/+4I don't get it but I lol'd hard
- ordig, on 08/02/2008, -1/+5Wrong, Bush can pardon him even if he hasent been charged. The only way to stop this is to impeach bush,
- inactive, on 08/02/2008, -0/+4They won't be hung. Be real.
Indicted? Very possible. I just want them GONE. - relic180, on 08/02/2008, -1/+5That had to be sarcasm.
- relic180, on 08/02/2008, -3/+7And what are you, a partisan scrotum swinger?
I suppose you're all about the corporate dictatorship politics too? Because that's absolutely what our founding fathers were aiming for with that whole "bill of rights" thing that Rove and his worthless cronies have been working so hard to tear apart.
Citizens acting against corrupt government figures has not a god damn thing to do with party politics. Even if you can't figure out how to separate yourself from your team spirit, that doesn't mean nobody else has. - Hangly, on 08/02/2008, -0/+4Dems? One of them was a pastor.
- Hangly, on 08/02/2008, -0/+3Can we get some names? I'm putting them on my Christmas card list.
- unique172, on 08/02/2008, -1/+4As they should, when someone breaks the law.
- MuCow, on 08/04/2008, -0/+3All babble, no substance. Typical....
Explain to me how liberals keep screwing with the economy.
Explain how liberals stopped oil drilling... On the 68 million acres the oil companies have a lease on for drilling that's not being used... And when those pesky liberals tried to force the oil companies to use it or lose it... the Republicans shot it down....
Hundreds of thousands of lives by increasing the cost of corn? Exagerate a bit? Perhaps they should have prevented the monopolization of their tortilla industry. Perhaps Iowa shouldn't have flooded. Perhaps you should realize that ethanol is from yellow corn- tortillas are from white corn. Perhaps you should do some research before spouting conservative talking points... even the ones that are a year old.
Explain to me how the Mexicans are effecting the job market in Western NY, where I live? If there are at least 12 million jobs out there, tell me where...
Amnesty? Are you talking about the Kennedy-McCain Bill that Bush supported? Yes, THAT McCain. And THAT Bush. Damn those liberals.
Our foriegn relations wouldn't have been nearly as bad as they are had we not gone into Iraq. We were lied to.. by Bush... to get us in. Who should we blame? We should have been in Afghanistan. Pakistan. Not wasting time in Iraq. In March the Pentagon released a report saying there was no connection between Iraq and al Queada. Bush lied to us. Obviously it's the liberals' faults for believing him.
Kudos to Bush for getting oil to drop $15 dollars. Now if he'd only let those liberals close the Enron loophole, we'd be all set.
Oh.... Karl Rove should be arrested. If you did what he did, you'd be arrested. - goodinohio, on 08/02/2008, -1/+4Forget Rove, he isn't even a dog catcher. Focus on corrupt elected officials on both sides.
- koko775, on 08/02/2008, -1/+4Because Rove is one of the chief architects of a political strategy that vilifies impartiality and enshrines transparent partisanship?
A wee bit hypocritical, but perfectly understandable, IMO. - edgedmurasame, on 08/02/2008, -1/+4...such as China?
- StormyAaron, on 08/02/2008, -5/+8I am not a democrat, nor am I a liberal (unless you count Classical Liberalism, which is modern conservationism [not Neo-conservationism], which is a Constitutionalists, which is Libertarianism). I am speaking from the view of the Constitution and the view of the founding fathers. The people and ideas that made America.
Yes both sides of the current political system are corrupted, which is why we need more then a two party system and new parties to be out there instead of Dems and Reps. - xenuxenuts, on 08/02/2008, -1/+3the only way I can think of to fix it would be to turn the house of reps into a system where if a party got 2% of the vote, they got 2% of the seats.
That won't happen. So that leaves 2 options wait and hope things change for the better over the next 20 years, or wait and watch things get worse to the point where they're all put to death in a revolution. - Hangly, on 08/02/2008, -0/+2Oh, it'll happen.
- elephanterin, on 08/04/2008, -0/+2wow a citizen in favor of tyranny. RIIIIIIIGGGGHT. you've got the right ideaa.... good job boy eat some more fluoride! it makes rats senile, and you think like one in the dumpster at the orange country fair.
Woopee for intelligent citizens like you. Did you go to a public skool?
Because I think someone shut you in your locker during u.s. government your freshman year. The constitution is for the people, try reading it. Rove is our slave, not our our master. - inactive, on 08/04/2008, -1/+3Yeah, but we want TRIALS.
You rightard ***** keep trying to pretend there wouldn't be a trial.
Oh yeah baby, it would go on for YEARS, and a lot of politicians would go down.
That is how it SHOULD be.
The corrupt are investigated and charged.
Only a scumbag rightard like yourself would argue that criminals should go free.
You remember the LIE that Iraq was making nukes, right?
Stuff like that should be prosecuted.
Then if scumbags like you still want to cheer for convicted traitors, fine. - ordig, on 08/02/2008, -0/+2Sorry meant to reply to microchp
- elephanterin, on 08/04/2008, -0/+2someone better. obama's a fraud. oh look at me poor "black" man rising to power, isn't that inspirational.
i feel this way: i know it really truly sucks that my cracker ass ancestors were ***** stupid and took slaves from africa. i would send them to jail and/or castrate them and leave them in the jungle with a tribe of fire ants if i could.
but do i seriously need to prostrate my intelligence by becoming an obamaniac?
HELL NO.
i like the constitution. obama's never read it, or maybe he has but he sure doesn't follow it.
by the way, LUDA, obama is only 5.64% "black".
thomas jefferson had more african american blood.
i'm not lying lemmings look it up.
and he is promoting racism by pushing a rock bottom riser image.
***** obama.
his birth certificate is neither signed nor sealed.
he voted for FISA,
he donates money to middle east terror groups
and he voted for every Iraq funding bill ever possible.
idealogically he is close to the criminal that rove is,
and given the current immunity politicians are given, as evidenced by this article, we will be doing ourselves no favor by electing him.
as much i sincerely would love a non "whitey" president,
i will not compromise my or my country's livelihood for sentimentality. - gobbleplex, on 08/02/2008, -0/+2Who elected Karl Rove to which office?
- enantiodromia, on 08/02/2008, -2/+4/me does the logic and realizes either l300 is a genius satirist, or a ***** idiot.
- enantiodromia, on 08/02/2008, -1/+3u forgot the /sarcasm tag.
that, or ur a moran. - enantiodromia, on 08/02/2008, -0/+2welcome to the United States!
if you don't like it, try Mexico. -
