- bluevillage, on 05/18/2008, -6/+46He is genuinely CONFUSED and CONFUSING. This needs to be the heart of the campaign against him. It's not about age -- at least, let's not make it about age -- but about genuine lack of a center, genuine lack of intelligence. He is uninformed. He will have to rely completely on his writers to carry on an argument. He's no match for any Democrat, much less Obama.

Think they could do this to Ron Paul?
I think not. - savannahcat, on 05/18/2008, -2/+20Typical doubletalk McCain. This needs to be put in a television ad. How can anyone in their right mind even consider voting for this bumbling idiot?
- badjoke, on 05/18/2008, -0/+18I'm sure I'll get massively buried for saying so, but isn't this video already on the homepage?
- Puschon, on 05/18/2008, -3/+20And this guy is supposed to run our country? Obviously, it's just another idiot like Bush who is a figurehead and just there for show while the real people running the country into the ground with the Republican agenda are hidden from view (Rove, Cheney, et al).
- zerepasil, on 05/18/2008, -2/+17dugg....again.
- pedro9, on 05/18/2008, -1/+13Creepy. That phony smile is really frightening. A guy pretending he is not really mad. But so many won't see through that as well as all the lies. They're brainwashed zombies who vote Republican if Hitler was running. This guy also is just plain stupid about economics, just like Bush.

please don't vote for McCave - Pezziwig, on 05/18/2008, -2/+10Why exactly is the corporate media supporting this buffoon? He's a cardboard cutout of a hero icon, but the repug party is really scraping bottom if this is the best they can do. All their candidates were plasticized, homogenized versions of iconic figures that can't live up to the myths created for them by a complicit media. So back to the original question. Why him? To keep the war afloat, to keep our debtor nation funds pouring into foreign investment pockets so that they don't call in our debts. To line the pockets of pig profiteers who are at the trough as the level of slops runs out. These creatures that stole our election process before throwing us into unending war will be lifting the trough so the pigs can get the last drops before the party's over. Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

How very true. - inactive, on 05/18/2008, -1/+8mccain appeals only to the most ignorant people in the US
- TeddySanFran, on 05/18/2008, -1/+8McCain is D A N G E R O U S
- Borgcube636, on 05/18/2008, -0/+7Deja Vu = seeing the same story on the front page of digg twice in one day, but under different names.
- fakerjohn, on 05/18/2008, -2/+9The part about McCain and Katrina in New Orleans is pretty damning. I hadn't heard that one before.
If he was hosting Bush in Arizona, he was part of the reason that the Bush administration handled the disaster so poorly:
Bush and McCain laughing and eating cake together in a photo op:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/04/24/mccain-an ... - RedPhalanx, on 05/18/2008, -0/+6Obama is straightforward, honest, and anti-war?
- yuduke, on 05/18/2008, -0/+5It is also ironic that during Katrina's strike he and Dubya were eating cake in just about the driest place in the U.S. All you need is to hear one of them say "Let them eat cake" and it would be profound.
- yuduke, on 05/18/2008, -3/+8It is amazing how McLame has been getting away with lying, double-talk, and hypocrisy. And the so-called "liberal" media does not call him on it. If anyone is a flip-flopper, this guy surely is.
- inactive, on 05/18/2008, -0/+5do you have comprehension skills? it shows how he says something and then completely does the opposite.. he said "i would have helped if i could" .. he could have .. and didn't
- maj0rm0j0, on 05/18/2008, -0/+5He is a "US" Senator that happens to be from Arizona. He represents America. Please be quiet when the adults are speaking. If Sean Penn went down and was pulling people out of the water, then I'm sure McCain could have done something.
Your idea of patriotism and helping fellow human beings is very disappointing. - XorpheusX, on 05/18/2008, -0/+4I've never seen a duplicate story on the front page at the same time as the original. Quite amazing.
- Agarbeau, on 05/18/2008, -1/+5McNutty is scarier by far than Dr. Lecter. What is so tragic is that people will vote for this guy.
- thejimmyo, on 05/18/2008, -1/+5"He is genuinely CONFUSED and CONFUSING."
And this is precisely why it's so troublesome that McCain's campaign is run by lobbyists like Charlie Black. If McCain doesn't understand the issues that well himself, who do you think will be making the policy decisions? - inactive, on 05/18/2008, -0/+4Duplicate. The exact same video is currently #1 in the top 10 right NOW, but without the spam:
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/McCain_s_YouTube ... - JohnGalt72, on 05/18/2008, -1/+5McCain is a puppet, yes.
But let's take a look at his opponent...
Obama is against the war, but constistantly votes to fund it.
Obama champions civil liberties, but twice votes for the Patriot Act.
I hope you see the difference in that there is none.
There was, and I suppose still is, one candidate in the race who consistantly votes on principle, and votes on the side of the people...but you didn't like him because the media told you not to.
Wake up sheeple. ;) - ccheath, on 05/18/2008, -2/+6do you really want someone like you describe as a President of the United States of America ???
- LumpyRevolution, on 05/19/2008, -0/+4Ron Paul is the only choice.
- inactive, on 05/18/2008, -1/+5To elect John McCain president would be another 4 more years of George Bush. It is the same old Republican rhetoric. Our country is on a slippery slope and electing a Republican would just put it over the edge. We have serious problems and we need serious people to solve them. We definitely need a change. After reviewing several videos, it is apparent that John McCain is either flip flopping or he just doesn't get it.
- maj0rm0j0, on 05/18/2008, -1/+4John McCain was against George Bush before he was for him.... Wait hear that?! *flip* *flop* *flip* *flop* --The time is running out on John McCain!
- mataranka, on 05/18/2008, -1/+4An old man; not sure what he's saying, or has said before, sorry but thats Alzheimer's. He'll probably try and nuke the commies if he wins in november.
- Koush, on 05/18/2008, -2/+5Hmm....that guys the frontrunner for the republician party.....is that a reflection of the american people? (digg users dont count(fintelligence on the internet only goes so far)).
- inactive, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3THIS WAS ALREADY SUBMITTED TODAY!!!1
- Locuester, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3He's a presidential hopeful. All presidential hopefuls discuss federal issues in the lead up to an election.... That's kinda the point... Why do you think your boy Ron Paul talks about the gold standard - it's not a TX issue, right?
- vault, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3yeah but you really wouldn't leave the country, just like everyone who said they were going to move to canada if bush got re-elected.
- inactive, on 05/18/2008, -0/+3He's following the "***** IT! WE'LL DO IT LIVE" principle.
- robwidit, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2That is why I lower my head in disbelief when anyone says that there is anyone better for us at this time, than RON PAUL...
"Truth is treason in an empire of lies" - Dr. Ron Paul
Billary are both in the occult big time, Obama god figurehead wannabee, Bush don't get me started on his list of sadistic evils... and Mc/Kane, the biggest liar and coat tail ridden suck up of em all, but he's bush's boy, just as long as we keep exposing their lies, and evil secrets, they will have no way to fight against fact other than lie and run, it's up to US to do the chasing em off...
rEVOLution is required! -Thomas Jefferson
"Those that would sacrifice freedom for security DESERVE neither" -Thomas Jefferson - ajskhan, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2McCain is a moron
- psion01, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2Now, now ... you're not helping if you're not contributing to the Digg Confirmation Bias.
- Maratanos, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2So dupe. And the originals still even on the front page. Geez, guys.
- kc23266, on 05/18/2008, -3/+5This is why we should have voted Ron Paul.
- bluevillage, on 05/18/2008, -0/+2Great point. I do wonder who's been writing his speeches. He obviously doesn't know what he's even saying, he stumbles so often.
- ArmchairEcon, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1With an opponent like this, looks like Obama won't have any issues come fall..
- LICKDACAT, on 05/24/2008, -0/+1Osama and McPain are both puppets for the new world order.
The Bilderberg group will pick his running mate after they meet in DC in two weeks.
