- The traceroutes of voteforthemilf.com and johnmccain.com go to the DNS server, not the web server. Try www.johnmccain.com (with the www) -- It goes to 72.21.92.132, not 64.203.107.149. Oops!
- Even IF the McCain camp DID register this domain, they likely grabbed it because they considered it the likely host of an attack website. IF they did do this however, there's no way in hell they'd point it to the official McCain camp website.

A lot of people check godaddy and other sites to see what addresses people are interested in so that they can buy it and sell it to them for a much higher price (Illegal in the US). 1). The matching whois privacy does not tell anything. Any Godaddy customer who has ordered WHOIS privacy for their domain is going to have the same ID privacy contact information. The Scottsdale address is not McCain's its GoDaddy's corporate headquarters which is in Arizona.
2). The matching IP number trace routes, this is merely a coincidence that JohnMccain.com is being hosted on the same WebServer IP as the voteforthemilf.com/.org/.net websites. They are not going to the same site. It is merely forwarding to the johnmccain.com site.
3) The redirect. Whoever the owner is of this domain has simply just forwarded the address to go to an arbitrary site they have decided upon, and it happens to be Sarah Palin's on the mccain site.
4) Registered the day or hours after the nomination, this is because a speculator wanted to capitalize on the domains potential ad revenue. This is also probably the reason for this post, because the owner wants you to go the site so you rack up major money for whom through AdShare revenue under GoDaddy.
5) WHOIS contact record information for voteforthemilf.com - this owner has simply just put in faked information that reads contact particulars for the McCain campaign.
There's absolutely no standing to this claim at all, I am 100% firmly behind this. I will say that it was clever to link all this, it definitely took some the person some time to make the screenshots and attempt to prove all this. - yarnedia, on 09/29/2008, -1/+18Right, but walmartsucks.com doesn't send you to the walmart site.
