- voxlisa999, on 10/27/2008, -16/+117Don't be afraid. Just GET OUT THE VOTE. Don't sit back and think you don't have to make the effort because Obama has a big lead. FYI, National polls are technically irrelevent.
All we have to do is get our voters to the polls!!! - stimuli, on 10/27/2008, -22/+92Wow...Just Wow
Do they even fact check? - algaeturd, on 10/27/2008, -30/+86Quick! Someone scrape a backwards 'B' into my face! I'm going to Drudge to help the cause!
What a bunch of ***** losers. These people are the REAL enemy to America...they'd have this country on its knees with knives in her back by the end of the next 'four years' of failed Bush policies if they had their way.
Anti-American, Traitors. The whole lot. - Dweller99, on 10/27/2008, -8/+54Dukakis was behind from the RNC convention on. He peaked shortly after the DNC convention.

Obama is ahead with days left in the race and has been for the last 32 days straight. I do not see the comparison. - inactive, on 10/27/2008, -20/+65

this (conservative) website has a poll of polls that averages all legit polls - left, right and center, and is updated at least once a day -
Obama has a steady solid lead - but we need a landslide victory to surmount the voter suppression and machine rigging. - dBass, on 10/28/2008, -11/+56I've totally lost track of what the Obama smear du jour is today.
Is he a Muslim, or against gun ownership, or a Tax & Spend Liberal®, or the most liberal senator in US history, or just doesn't understand®, or a socialist who wants to spread the wealth around®, or a terrorist, or a pal of domestic terrorists, or wants to abort 8 month old babies, or wants to teach kindergarten kids about oral sex, or is a communist, or wants to "telegraph his punches", or wants a monopoly of powers without checks and balances, or will tax Joe The Plumber®, or "would rather loose a war to win an election", or ...
Like I said, I've kind of lost track.
McCain you dick. - wherearemymeds, on 10/27/2008, -29/+67This is all over under other listings--I actually listened to the ORIGINAL broadcast and the McthugIns have lowered standards another rung by misrepresenting this piece, too.
Have they ever stopped to think that in driving standards down, that they're expanding a cesspool of ignorant divisiveness in this country? Really, I find it hard to understand how they can claim to put 'Country First'.
This is purely about self-interest and atavist power.
Another disgrace to add to their infamy.
OBAMA VOTER - poprocksandsoda, on 10/28/2008, -14/+51Anyone who visits Drudge knows what opinion they are getting. Anyone visiting Daily KOs knows what they are getting. Don't be so naive.

Huh. - dBass, on 10/28/2008, -2/+28Pity. The biggest margin of victory in modern Presidential races is 2.4 pts., back in 1976. So even your cherry picked 5 pt. poll portends to the coming Obama landslide over you lying weasels.

+#############++##################### - DealCracker, on 10/28/2008, -7/+24This is a Tragedy! What we need to do is get the supreme court take some of the smearing from Obama and redistribute it to those who are in need of a smearing. You know, spread the smear around.
- selmer, on 10/27/2008, -19/+36Look, get all upset if you want to. It isn't worth it. No matter the smear tactics used, none of it is going to stick. The polls may be close, but one poll is wildly conclusive: A huge majority of people are absolutely sick of the negative smears and rumors. NO ONE is buying the negative ***** being thrown around. It just isn't going to work. It is being stirred up and will get worse as the week goes on, but it won't change anything.
Obama is going to win because 8 years of Bush and a vast deterioration of the America we all love speaks much, much louder than the ***** Drudge report. - alais, on 10/28/2008, -23/+40Daily kos hahahahahahaha
- parisii, on 10/28/2008, -5/+21zogby admitted he "makes up" conservative voters - because there aren't enough in his polls.. and that's where he numbers come from. what a crock of *****.
the guys who are doing poll avgs and looking at real data do not see a close race AT ALL. - Canumbler, on 10/28/2008, -1/+16Try checking a balanced aggregate tracker rather than the results cherry picked by drudge.
http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/ - ispshadow, on 10/28/2008, -3/+17Here you go. Have a nice frothy cup of fail.
- aywwts4, on 10/28/2008, -1/+15All the RNC junk mail I got today said he gives out needles to crack junkies and doesn't support executing gang members, last week all the mail was Ayres based, they just don't know what to do.
(I don't mind getting their junk mail, it directly costs them money to go in my recycle bin, everyone should sign up!) - brstilson, on 10/28/2008, -2/+16I'd rather have a tax-and-spend Liberal than a borrow-and-bomb Republican.
- IslandSaint, on 10/28/2008, -9/+21This election is over. After our generation gets him elected, lets make sure we hold President Obama to his promises. Tax cuts for the middle class, end the war in Iraq, reduce health care costs, and improve education. These are big promises, Barack, and we are going to hold you to them.
Join the facebook group I just created, search for "Keep Your Promises, President Obama" and hold Obama to his word! - ispshadow, on 10/28/2008, -0/+12Alright, I'll bite.
You do realize that whole ACORN mess still doesn't allow people to vote multiple times. Between 2002 and 2004, Ohio had 4 fraudulent votes out of 9 million. It's not an issue the same way you're trying to portray it.
4 votes. Out of 9 million, 4 were fraudulent.
That's why it's not that big in the media. ACORN got *****, not us.
Let me say it one more time for the crazies out there freaking out. 4 votes. You should probably back up your rant with something that at least resembles factual information. Otherwise, you're still just one of those crazy *****. - CrimsonBlur, on 10/28/2008, -1/+13Having a 5-point lead a week before election day is actually a significant lead.
- StarlessKnight, on 10/28/2008, -5/+17Prove it. "Black man stole my job." Because there's no way in hell they earned it, right? Amirite? Come on, now, don't be shy, you've all but said it.
- ConDog86, on 10/28/2008, -11/+22I group dailykos with drudgereport....you have to sift through crap to find the real story
- n8o8, on 10/28/2008, -1/+12http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/
I like this site for polling info. Amazing FAQ section on their process. - inactive, on 10/28/2008, -5/+16hahahah like palin is qualified!
you republatards are going to lose! - inactive, on 10/28/2008, -1/+12He addressed this in an interview. In any case, McCain's distributing the wealth as well, just in favor of the rich.
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 10/28/2008, -0/+10Aside from the painfully ignorant replies above, I have no idea why you are being dugg down.
I've said before that one of things I like most about Obama is that he is setting the bar so high for himself. He is either going to have to make good on his promises or he will be a one term president. By all accounts that is the way it SHOULD be, as surely as Bush should have been a one term president. - altgeeky1, on 10/28/2008, -1/+11Hello ello ello?? Echo echo echo...
No, there's no close race. You are all alone.
You are likely to be eaten by a grue. - Mujokan, on 10/28/2008, -2/+12(1) The US spreads the wealth constantly. A progressive tax system, all kinds of social programs, and let's not forget the massive amount of debt accumulated during the "deficits don't matter" Bush-Cheney years, the interest and capital of which has to be paid by US taxes.
(2) "European society has not moved forward in a century." That's either bad hyperbole or just delusional. Europe has its own problems, of course. Every country is different. The UK, which is the most like the US in economic management terms, is one of the worst off.
Good economic management uses markets where markets work, and government intervention to tweak things where they fail.
It's not the rape and plunder of Bush-Cheney, making the rich richer, corporate welfare, Enron and WorldCom, pumping up the liquidity bubble and scraping off the profits before it bursts, no-bid contracts for Haliburton that leave US troops electrocuted in a faulty shower and the US taxpayer footing the bill to ship sand to Iraq, and all the rest.
Every Western country got where it is today by finally dealing with systemic inequality over the first part of the 20th Century. This became possible because industrialization and our democratic system of government created so much wealth that we could afford to help the underclass out of poverty, and get them into a position where they could contribute, and not live in sickness, misery and exploitation. This was achieved by spreading the wealth -- public schools, union laws, clearing slums, government-funded infrastructure projects, and all the rest of it. - AdamFromMyspace, on 10/28/2008, -0/+10It's smeared.. :P
- stormofswords, on 10/28/2008, -1/+11You McCain supporters need to relax and breathe into a paper bag for 10 seconds. If you keep letting this rage and anxiety ferment until Nov. 5th, you're going to have a heart attack.
- FreddieD, on 10/28/2008, -0/+9An average of Obama +10 from four polls released today in Virginia
An average of Obama +12 from three polls released recently in Iowa
A strong (+8 or higher) hold on *every* Kerry state
= President Obama
(Keep in mind each one of these state polls all show similar numbers, a much stronger indicator of accuracy)
We aren't even getting into all of the other states in which Obama has a lead (either by a slim or strong margin): NV, CO, NM, OH, FL, MO, and yes NORTH CAROLINA and INDIANA.
Can you believe it?? INDIANA! That state *never* goes blue for anybody... the four most recent polls from there: PPP (10/19) Obama +2, SurveyUSA (10/22) Obama +4, Zogby (10/25) McCain +6.2, Big Ten (10/21) Obama +9.5
I'm gonna have to take a pass on this whole "afraid" thing, sorry... - StarlessKnight, on 10/28/2008, -0/+9If concerned about electronic votes flipping, flood the booths with so many voters that nothing short of outright fraud swings it.
- DangerCollie, on 10/28/2008, -4/+13Who reads Drudge besides the wingnuts? That's like announcing the McCain campaign is teaming up with Fox News.
It's good that there's a counter-media to challenge the lies, though. Keep that going after the election. If the Republicans lose, they're going to start the Clintonesque ongoing smear machine all over again from now until 2012. If Michelle Obama got a nail polish sample the Republicans would be calling for a special prosecutor. Fox News headlines Obama children ride on Air Force 1. Obama will need the supportive bloggers and media after the election as much as he does now. I think staying on the wingnuts will be part of the price of freedom from here on out. - fumar, on 10/28/2008, -1/+10Anyone with half a brain realizes she's just a loud screeching bitch. Then again as VP, that's her job. Problem is that she could be the next president if elected, unlike the last 3 VP's.
- Ymeg, on 10/28/2008, -0/+9Three vowels in their first and last names?
- uncajoe, on 10/27/2008, -33/+41Druck Fudge!
- seltaeb4, on 10/28/2008, -1/+9He did NOT say "redistribution of wealth."
Obviously you haven't even listened to the tape.
But I doubt you care. You're just out to make a cheap hit. - seltaeb4, on 10/28/2008, -0/+8"Have they ever stopped to think that in driving standards down, that they're expanding a cesspool of ignorant divisiveness in this country?"
Yes, the Republicans absolutely have. In fact, it is their only goal.
Why, you ask? Because they can rule more easily over a nation of ignorant serfs who believe what they hear and do what they're told.
It's far cheaper for them to inflame those who have no educations; to swindle them of the value of their labor; deny their children any opportunity for advancement; and to dominate them by throwing plastic flags in their faces—than to build a nation worthy of America's heritage. To divide Americans against themselves—to profit from, and rule over the resultant masses—this is their sole concern.
Republicans are in the business of making drones to ensure and perpetuate their own survival. Nothing else.
If you believe otherwise, you are already their slave. So, please make sure your alarm is set for the morning, so you can go to work tomorrow to make them richer while you and your family beg for the indulgence of scraps and crumbs from their table. - spyd3rweb, on 10/28/2008, -2/+10Gay male prostitutes that have sleepovers in the oval office with George Bush?
- mbelleghem, on 10/28/2008, -1/+9I had no idea the Drudge Report was still taken seriously (ie read) by anyone.
