- Irish953, on 08/19/2008, -6/+115So, he is now an Independent prick???
- MValentin, on 08/19/2008, -16/+91Well and truly beautiful. Couldn't have happened to a more weasel-like, two-faced neo-con who once called himself a Democrat. Can't wait until Joe gets relegated to the permanent minority in the U.S. Senate next year and loses his committee assignments.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3074/2777750541_bf5 ... - inactive, on 08/19/2008, -11/+74JoeLie gives pricks a bad name.
- inactive, on 08/19/2008, -10/+60Hard to argue with that.
- MoDinero, on 08/19/2008, -8/+53They said it's a typo. I think not.
- davewashere, on 08/20/2008, -3/+47What's there to fix? The guy's a prick.
- pintomp3, on 08/20/2008, -7/+44finally some honest reporting in the news.
- arbouler, on 08/19/2008, -9/+39i bet dick cheney is fuming right now, hating ap for calling someone else a vice presidential prick!
- DeskFlyer, on 08/19/2008, -5/+2619 hours later and they still haven't fixed it yet.
- pintomp3, on 08/20/2008, -7/+28principled? centrist? he has a hard-on for the war-mongering neo-con agenda. he is a traitor that puts israel's interests ahead of americas.
- ferrell, on 08/20/2008, -2/+21Believe me, it's not just the AP.
- thegrantman, on 08/20/2008, -6/+24I see no error.
- Morphinity, on 08/20/2008, -3/+21He has certainly changed a lot since 2000. Hell, I even liked McCain in 2000.
- mtrisk, on 08/20/2008, -2/+19Right, because there's nothing Lieberman's done since 2000 that would change anyone's mind about him. Now if say, he had been gung-ho over the Iraq War for the past five years, ran against the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate, and campaigned with the Republican nominee for President, now that would be a different story. Then, maybe, Democrats would have a reason to criticize him.
Oh wait. - V3n0M, on 08/19/2008, -11/+26You could have left off the quotation marks and "according to AP", and the title still holds true.
- Ebonsteel, on 08/20/2008, -1/+16*****.
He was a pathetic weasel fastened mouth-to-tit to any Connecticut corporation who could attract his attention in 2000, and I was incredibly disappointed that Al picked him as VP.
If I had to search for a silver lining for the Repukes stealing the 2000 election, it is that we're not looking at Lieberman running for President today on the Dem ticket after a second-term as Gore's VP. - zephyear, on 08/20/2008, -1/+15i didn't love joe in 2000
in fact i was kind of dissapointed when gore picked him - PHiZ187, on 08/20/2008, -1/+14You have that backwards.
- HappyScrappy, on 08/20/2008, -4/+17He turned a while back. You perhaps didn't notice the netroots effort that denied Lieberman the Dem nomination in his own district? It was quite some time before any mention of teaming up with McCain.
I agree, I liked McCain in 2000. The one who realized pandering to the religious right was a bad idea. He disappeared and now we have Flipper McCain. - PHiZ187, on 08/20/2008, -1/+14Whoah, whoah, whoah, a lot of us in CT hate him too. I mean, *****, we DID kick him out of the Democratic party.
- alleged, on 08/20/2008, -8/+21That article is incredibly disrespectful towards pricks around the world. Pricks deserve better.
- PabloIV, on 08/20/2008, -1/+13That was the awesomest typo so far this year
- BrandonJM, on 08/20/2008, -7/+19Proof my fellow Jews no longer control the media...
- mjf7419, on 08/19/2008, -3/+15a Freudian slip 4 sure!
- davewashere, on 08/20/2008, -1/+13My views and my values haven't changed, that gutless swine Lieberman's actions have.
- solistus, on 08/20/2008, -1/+12A principled ticket, like a guy who left his party to run against the nominee when he lost the primaries, insisted that he would caucus with the Dems as an independent and then decided to support the other party's presidential nominee after being a Bush cheerleader for a couple years? I've seen delusional ***** from you McCainiacs before, but this just about takes the cake.
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -13/+24Joe LIEberman (R-Israel) has been a PRICK for awhile now
- amoirae, on 08/20/2008, -2/+13Funny and accurate.
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -1/+11It's nice to see honesty in the media.
- Misinformant, on 08/20/2008, -6/+16It's not even a typo.
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -5/+15Well, he IS a prick. There's simply no denying that. And if you're not convinced, I point you to his supporting every anti-video game bill ever imagined.
- kevinwiz, on 08/20/2008, -1/+11He has to be today's slimiest politician of anyone outside the Bush administration
- inactive, on 08/19/2008, -4/+14News: that JoeLie ( I-Conn ), the letter "I" does not stand for "independent".
- stonewaljacksn, on 08/20/2008, -5/+14NO, he is part of the Israel Party.
get. out. of. our. government. - inactive, on 08/20/2008, -1/+10He's a zionist neocon israel first ***** and American traitor!
- waggdogg, on 08/20/2008, -0/+8and Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman, the Democratic vice presidential prick in 2000 who now is an independent.
Remember he was a Democrat Prick, now he is an independent. - cadmiumpaint, on 08/20/2008, -8/+16i hope McCain chooses him as VP. that will really piss off the GOP base and destroy any unity that party has left.
- doctormcnasty, on 08/20/2008, -0/+8for good measure, because it's that good
http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/5482/2777750541 ... - algaeturd, on 08/20/2008, -6/+14Sounds accurate to me. I think I referred to him as 'prick' on more than one occasion.
- Earthman1776, on 08/20/2008, -0/+8Or proof even they typo :o)
- TheR3dMenace, on 08/20/2008, -0/+8I gave you a thumbs up, but I think there is a difference between anti-semitism and anti-zionism
- pieceofred, on 08/20/2008, -6/+13wow...truth from the AP??
- bbart3d, on 08/20/2008, -6/+13... according to the AP and half the country.
- tobsterius, on 08/20/2008, -7/+14Well, I certainly didn't need an AP wire to tell me that...
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -3/+10How do you think we "Libtards" feel, having the Democratic Party represent us in Washington? Make no mistake, Lieberman is a prick, in my eyes, but not because he strays from mainstream Democrat dogma. Believe me, we suffer the same damn thing on the opposite end of the spectrum. We fought the Patriot Act tooth and nail, while the Democrats in Congress rallied behind it. We opposed the war from the start, not out of lack of sympathy for the plight of the Iraqis, but because we knew Bush had absolutely no plan to rebuild the nation after taking Saddam out. We protested FISA, and they ignored us. We demand an end to our oil dependence and an end to air pollution, and Al Gore gives us carbon credits. We demand alternative energy, and Ted Kennedy says "Not in my backyard!" We demand education reform and we get No Child Left Behind, which is well on its way to leaving many children behind.
And then, they come back to us and shed crocodile tears and promise that they'll stop Bush's infringements on our Constitutional rights, and they'll end the war, and they'll fix the education system, and they'll solve our energy problems. To which I spit in their faces and walk away in disgust. You hate the Democrats? You have absolutely no idea what it's like from the other side. I am a die-hard, bleeding heart liberal, and I am absolutely fed up with the way the Democrats try to play us like idiots. They don't give a ***** about us, but they desperately need our votes, so they lie through their teeth and slither up beside us and tell us that they're our friends. ***** the Democrats. - Hiddendonut, on 08/20/2008, -6/+13Very true.
