- JoeParanoid, on 02/27/2009, -0/+5Part of this is just to defy the new administration and part of it is hatred of the working person because red states generally take more federal largesse while blue states tend to contribute more. So it's simply not a principled resistance to federal intrusion as portrayed.
- SteffenfromEU, on 02/27/2009, -0/+5Thanks for comment neognistic, i was inserting it into my post. Yes this is how Reps have power there in Texas. I can only remember Bush family had start in oil business with money from Nazis. Bush family was still working with Nazi Germany same time the own son was beginning to fight in Pacific for own country against family will. And it was not only the connection of the bank. They helped in addition Nazi spies to come in over ship line the owned. - Not all from Reps are bad, but you have a lot, too much of such greedy frauds.
http://changeforbetterworld.blogspot.com - neognostic, on 02/27/2009, -0/+5Rick Perry is a moron, plain and simple, unfortunately there are a lot of other republican morons down here in Texas who keep voting for the liar and thief. His chief of staff resigns to go to work for a big pharma company and they give Perry $10,000 for his campaign that is 4 years away. Perry then mandates that every single girl in Texas must get immunized with a controversial vaccine, which just happens to be made by that big pharma company.
H also tries to ramrod dozens of new coal plants to be built in Texas, bypassing all of the regulatory processes, fortunately all of the mayors of all the towns ganged up on his dumb ass because we are already at the upper limits of air pollution already.
He has other crimes to, I just don't have time to mention them all.
Recall Perry now!!!! - neognostic, on 02/28/2009, -0/+1Perry took his lessons from Bush. Governor Bush took 400 million from Texas taxpayers and gave it to his oil buddies to increase production in Texas, and I have yet after all these years to find a single oil well that was drilled. But even worse, is the corporate welfare, and now Perry is grandstanding. It's a good thing I will never have the chance to meet him, I'd throw a shoe at him.
On another note, it will cost the city of Dallas hundreds of thousands of dollars to protect Bush and Babs here in Dallas, and yet oddly a conservative PAC bought the house next to him for around half a million dollars, but they make the citizens of Dallas pony up the money for his protection.
