- arrows6, on 12/11/2007, -2/+20Great idea, eworthi. I'm letting a few people know as well. Loved the fact that Romney's negative ad came out today.
- eworthi, on 12/11/2007, -3/+20The first thing I did was go to
http://www.drudgereport.com/ and entered the statement below into his "send news tips to Drudge" window in the lower right of his page.
Jim gilchrist endorses Huckabee

I know Matt Drudge hasn't been fair to Huck, but he can't afford to be late on breaking news. - Room007, on 12/11/2007, -4/+15mrboratsagdiev - Fortunately or unfortunately Mike will be President of all people. Some that agree with us and some that don't. So Mike will welcome all Americans in his camp. We have to unite this country somehow and Mike is that person. We can't pick and choose who is American and who isn't. Good thought though.
- ThaddeusB, on 12/11/2007, -4/+13Is Huckabee soft on immigration? NumbersUSA, a leading anti-immigration, group doesn't think so. They rank him about even with Thompson and well ahead of Romney, Giuliani, and McCain.

- eworthi, on 12/13/2007, -0/+2Here is the link to the endorsement at Minuteman Projects web site.

Spread this link around! - thegopfundit, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2Though I don't agree with RP on many issues (and many of his supporters are belligerent and profane) I would support him IF he won nomination for Republicans. BUT, since that is not going to happen (with 6% in most national polls) it is a moot point. Do the American thing and support Mike Huckabee when he gains Republican nomination!
- UMREngnr, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2I read your first comment, so why did you feel the need to post the same thing that you posted four comments up? Consider it burried.
- UMREngnr, on 12/12/2007, -1/+2You should say supposed record, as there are no hard facts to back up your claim, at least not in the source you cite. While we're on the subject of "white power folks", why not check out the white power website www.stormfront.org, and see who they endorse (scroll all the way to the bottom)? Guess what it's your man Ron Paul.
- purpletailmx, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Someone in the Ron Paul campaign should consult with him about the intelligence of accepting the endorsement of a pimp.
http://my.earthlink.net/article/vid?guid=video/112 ... - OldAtlantic, on 12/12/2007, -2/+1Wayne D. "within days" Touchback Hunchback Amnesty Huckabee is a true disaster for this country. Lonewacko has it right on this guy as does Vanishing American.
- freecon, on 12/12/2007, -4/+3Gilchrist is insane!!! I'm glad I never joined them like I wanted to.
- Darel99, on 12/12/2007, -3/+1I will not claim him as my president and I will oppose him his entire term if he gets it. If he obtains the nomination Hillary will beat him. Are you people not willing to look at what the people want vs who is ahead at a given time? The people want the war in Iraq to end no one but Paul will end it. Huck thinks there is honor in a war that began as a sin.
- barktwiggs, on 12/12/2007, -3/+1Was he impressed by the Chuck Norris border patrol plan or the scholarships for illegals program? Ouch!
- hardwarehank, on 12/12/2007, -4/+1So someone whose bio says they are an "avid defender of the first amendment" is endorsing someone who wants to take away personal freedoms (ie. quarantining AIDS patients and saying that housewives should be submissive to their husbands). I mean, Huckabee says things like "I got into politics because I knew government didn’t have the real answers, that the real answers lie in accepting Jesus Christ into our lives. … I hope we answer the alarm clock and take this nation back for Christ." Doesn't that mean that he would lean towards illegalizing certain free speech, such as anti-Christian works? Seems a little silly to me. You would think that such a strong defender of the constitution would vote for Ron Paul.
Oh, and this whole white supremacy affiliation crap needs to stop on all fronts. Quit trying to tie every candidate to racists. They are free to think how they want and vote how they want, and just because they endorse a candidate doesn't make that candidate bad. They just want to protect the first amendment as much as Mr. Gilchrist apparently does. Our country prides itself in the fact that we allow people to be extremists instead of killing them publicly or silently like many nations have done in the past. - mrboratsagdiev, on 12/11/2007, -10/+6Hmm: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Gilchrist#Critici ...
- soulmantim, on 12/11/2007, -12/+6Good lord, Huckabee doesn't even know what the NIE was when asked, you expect him to run a country?
If God is running Huckabee's campaign then there is no need to vote for that Theocrat. - inactive, on 12/11/2007, -11/+4The bit at Wikipedia is based on the "reporting" by the SPLC, a group indirectly linked to the Mexican government. So, take it with a big grain of salt.
And, Gilchrist might want to look into Huck's plan in more depth, since it would allow illegal aliens who then left the U.S. to come back within "days, maybe weeks":
http://lonewacko.com/blog/archives/007309.html - mrboratsagdiev, on 12/11/2007, -12/+5Someone in the Huckabee campaign should have checked Jim's record of hanging with white power folks: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Gilchrist#Critici ...
