Incidentally, Republicans can disown him all they want to -- but it won't change the new public perception of their party. They are in the process of driving away millions of voters, with their hate-filled, racist, and frankly alarming new attacks on Obama, et. al. When supporters at McCain and Palin rallies start yelling audible racial epithets that get recorded by live TV crews, and when those remarks go unanswered by the candidates holding those rallies, then you know. You know that the McCain camp is complicit in breaking the law -- because hate speech is a crime. And by not coming out against these supporters, the McCain campaign is condoning it.
