- peticsu, on 09/26/2008, -10/+562holly *****...she should pay for a rape kit after what Caffery just did
- LooseFur, on 09/26/2008, -10/+490Cafferty only tells it like it is, and shuts up Wolfie Blitzer in the process.
Sara Palin is a pathetic excuse for a VP nominee. The few intelligent Republicans left should pack her back to her igloo and saw off the ice pack, leaving her to drift off into the mist forever, like the bad dream that she is. - rz8472, on 09/26/2008, -5/+386In the middle of that interview:
"Oh! I just remembered my talking points! Now to go on about something completely unrelated." - adamanger, on 09/26/2008, -8/+389Oh holy heck! Cafferty tears Palin to shreds!
- quidpro, on 09/26/2008, -3/+330Man, the disgust on Cafferty's face...
- rz8472, on 09/26/2008, -5/+297And there she is, Ms South Carolina everyone!
- AHardDaysNight, on 09/26/2008, -4/+224Looks like a Moose in headlights, or a scope...
- joesmosax, on 09/26/2008, -3/+218I truly believe...that....some people out there....in our nation.....don't...have maps....
- otep, on 09/26/2008, -4/+209Jack Cafferty is one of the last real NEWSMEN in the business. Long live Jack.
- JATCA69, on 09/26/2008, -3/+202Why doesn't Cafferty have his own hour? Man, he would bust some serious balls.
- jeffbw, on 09/26/2008, -4/+194And just look at the polls. Half of the electorate is completely insane, but then we knew that in November 2000. How do you deprogram a whole country?
- Arishia, on 09/26/2008, -10/+185She sounds like she has a thought disorder. She just goes off on tangents and never really gets to the question. I'm not kidding. I think she has a thought disorder.
- DearInternets, on 09/26/2008, -4/+158wow...
- stevenr21, on 09/27/2008, -3/+140The VP debates are going to be awesome. I hope she cries.
- dinot, on 09/26/2008, -6/+141In case anyone missed that, here's a summary of Palin's responses: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3038/2711806220_1cc ...
- duckley, on 09/27/2008, -1/+123"Cafferty tears Palin to shreds!"
No, actually, Palin tears Palin to shreds. Again. - caseymckinnon, on 09/26/2008, -5/+123I'm so proud of him for standing up and saying something. Most journalists are trying WAY too hard to be "balanced".
- iancgi, on 09/27/2008, -4/+112What a little pussy Wolf Blitzer is.
- chosenson, on 09/26/2008, -1/+103Blitzer said "she was cramming". That's worse! She was memorizing answers that she's not familiar with - and garbled her answers. The woman knows nothing!! Attending 6 colleges in 4 years should have been an indication of her ability to "cram" successfully . . .
John McCain graduating at the bottom of his class should also give us pause - is he going to be any better at "cramming" on the economy? - Theodora12, on 09/26/2008, -4/+99Thank you, Jack Cafferty, for some REAL straight talk!
- duckley, on 09/27/2008, -3/+97What's happening in this clip?
PALIN is watching Katie Couric's eyes, to see if what she's saying makes sense. It doesn't, and that makes her even MORE incoherent and she thrashes about, mixing talking points desperately, trying to please Katie.
This results in her not only NOT making political sense, but NOT EVEN making grammatical sense.
You almost (almost) feel sorry for her. - MercyPolitics, on 09/26/2008, -4/+84Jack is the coolest!
- seddyei, on 09/26/2008, -0/+79Excellent!! LOL.
- BigDigg55, on 09/27/2008, -1/+78BUT in Mrs. Palin's Defense she is an idiot.
- sjsuarez, on 09/26/2008, -3/+73I was watching this on TV, I was hoping someone would post it...haha, he really let people know how he felt!
- auntazalea, on 09/27/2008, -2/+70Jack Cafferty is my hero, having just lost his wife he still stands up to the plate and knocks it out of the ballpark. again.

- stubarwick, on 09/27/2008, -4/+61Seriously?!? Palin's answer sounds as if Katie Couric asked some random low information/or no information voter on the streets for their opinion about the bailout.
Please, citizens of the United States of America, while I believe anyone can be elected president (or vice president), this proves that not everyone should be placed in such a position. This person should not be so close to being leader of the free world. - duckley, on 09/27/2008, -0/+56Brilliant response!
- dinot, on 09/26/2008, -1/+57Yeah. Looked like he just swallowed a turd covered in burnt hair.
- cedarbaydave, on 09/27/2008, -3/+58Pathetic, and embarrassing.
If somehow she becomes president, we deserve what we get. - MorganMghee, on 09/26/2008, -2/+55like a kid that hasn't quite memorized their lines in the play
- Weasel22, on 09/27/2008, -0/+49Cafferty didn't have to do anything. It was clear that this was a "practice session" for the upcoming debate, and I wouldn't be surprised if the big wigs at the McCain Campaign gave her quite a talk afterwards. Palin forgot talking points such as "it all has to be about creating jobs" and was forced to insert them in an incoherent fashion. The bottom line is that she clearly has no idea what the bailout is, what its significance is for the American taxpayer, for the economy, for the dollar or for the large financial corporations, and she was an extremely poor pick for VP.
I would like to also note, after watching the debate tonight, Joe Biden was asked for comment. After his short interview, the network announced that Sarah Palin would not be appearing, as the GOP had rejected their offer to allow her a comment, but instead offered up Rudy Guliani (whom I loathe...). How dumb do they think viewers are? This woman is running for the SECOND HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND, and she can't even make a coherent remark about a single issue without having her opinion written out pre-emptively. For pete's sake, why the hell does anyone like this woman? - chanelgal, on 09/27/2008, -2/+51I'm watching the debate and McCain is saying that Obama is inexperienced. After picking Inexperienced Palin, McCain can no longer use the inexperience argument on obama
- chosenson, on 09/26/2008, -3/+51She can't back up McCain on the economy. How will they be able to tell when the economists or anyone else is ***** them on an issue? On what basis do they plan to make their decisions?
Ignorant & Vapid for a tag team does not quite cut it!
Be very afraid . . . - Jynx97, on 09/26/2008, -4/+50She's like a moose in headlights!
- Sil369, on 09/27/2008, -0/+46Exquisite!
- powatom, on 09/27/2008, -3/+46I've been sitting here trying to think of something to say about this for 5 minutes- and it's incredibly difficult to sum up what I felt about her response except with a single question:
"What?" - spucky, on 09/27/2008, -2/+45That's the sad truth. Many of them still claim he is Muslim and in the very next breath condemn his Baptist pastor. They know that their thinking is irrational, but they can't come to terms with the word they really want to use.
- thedsack, on 09/27/2008, -1/+43Do you know the difference between a pit-bull and a hockey-mom? One has an IQ lower than 45… and the other is a pit-bull.
- nfarrokh, on 09/27/2008, -1/+42I think he is right, I can not even imagine her as a US VP
- TypeEE, on 09/27/2008, -1/+42I have a feeling that whatever the question was, she would detour it to the same answer which she had memorized.
- passiveinvestor, on 09/27/2008, -0/+41Dan Quayle must be so ***** happy right now.
- magus_melchior, on 09/26/2008, -3/+42Ouch... a certain VP candidate didn't do her homework.
"It's, uh, about the people working in this country... OH! you mean jobs, (right?) yeah, job creation... and trade, too, we can't forget that." - powatom, on 09/27/2008, -1/+40It's a classic '***** I don't know anything about this subject' answer. Use words which are vaguely related to the question and talk a load of crap about it in the hope you'll somehow give the impression you know what you talk about.
It's the kind of answer a particularly poor candidate would give at their first ever job interview. In other words: absolutely pathetic. - chiefbandit2200, on 09/27/2008, -0/+39"...It was not her best answer"
No *****? - TheVirus, on 09/27/2008, -2/+41I watched that 5 times and I have absolutely no idea what she was talking about. What an embarrassment to the human race.
- knoxindy, on 09/27/2008, -0/+38had to log in for this one! perfect comment.
- dzneill, on 09/27/2008, -4/+42Cafferty for president!
