- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+8this article is hilariously dumb
personally I know about 30/40 people who I converted to Ron Paul in the last month alone and none of them was polled...
there are 9 pro war republican candidates against just ONE anti war
...even amongst the republicans 35% of those folks are against the war so now tell me how good you are with your math hehehehe - conceptkid, on 10/10/2007, -4/+8Why, what are you afraid of? Is he taking away all the supporters from the ***** other candidates??? Pssst, thats the idea dummy. Btw, Buried because you are in for a rude awakening.
- Corrosionx, on 10/10/2007, -5/+8Those polls are obsolete. The word on the street is different.
- BookImDanno, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Nope. Hillary continues to have the highest democrat ratings as well as the highest negatives. Ron Paul isn't even known of by the leftists.

Gotta give credit to the computer nerds. They get heard, and are better received than Ron Paul will ever be. - BookImDanno, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Whose street? Where is this imaginary street located? America would like to know. LMAO!

- vipero00, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3This is the kind of tripe that party loyalist put out to bolster up their party. Pare away the controversy and unite behind a single banner holder for the good of the party.
What about the good of the nation? Oh that's right, party 1st nation last.
As I watched HC on the talking head shows this morning I couldn't wonder what future debates will look like once we're past the primaries. If Ron Paul isn't in those debates then it will be Dem candidate with Brand A big govt and Rep candidate with Brand B big govt. Only if Ron Paul survives will a small govt voice be heard. Oh for a real debate between HC and RP. Now that would be something. - indyattic, on 10/10/2007, -5/+6He's not going anywhere except the Whie House.
- Tangaroa, on 10/10/2007, -4/+5Neat, an anti-Ron Paul article. Dugg just to spite all the pro-Ron Paul article posters. Now to grab some popcorn and watch the show...
(FWIW, the primaries are a long time away so it's way too early to tell anybody to drop out) - mickrussom, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH.

A recent Gallup poll finds Paul at the head of the so-called second-tier candidates (i.e., the candidates the establishment hasn’t anointed). Yet a point was recently made that at this stage in the election cycle, national polls reflect only name recognition, not respondents’ assessments of the candidates. Consider the past:
- In early 1975, Jimmy Carter was polling at 1% (he went on to win the presidency).
- In early 1987, Michael Dukakis was polling at 1% (he went on to win the Democratic nomination).
- In early 1991, Bill Clinton was at 2% (he went on to win the presidency).
- In the spring of 1999, John McCain was polling at 3% (he went on to win the New Hampshire primary).
- In early 2003, Joe Lieberman was leading the field for the Democratic presidential nomination (he failed to win any primary).
As of August 2007
- Ron Paul has more financial support from the Military than *ANY* other candidate. (Our troops hate Iraq and want to come home, Ron is the only one that can do that)
- According to the polls, Ron Paul has won almost every Republican Debate (Including the Fox debate)
- Ron Paul is by far the most popular candidate on the Internet.
