Because they're dealing with money... Lots and lots of money.
It's pure capitalism to avoid paying debts and to sue for more money.
Duh...

- jizzatch, on 10/12/2007, -8/+21Larry Silverstein must walk around with a wheelbarrow, because he has got some massive balls. I'd love to see that ***** "rendered" at Guantanamo. Him and that "scoop and dump" ***** Guiliani. These jerkoffs are cashing in on 9/11, and they were the ones that were in on the deed. They have blood on their hands, and I only pray that their atrocities come to light.
- stone42, on 10/12/2007, -6/+18the wheelbarrow is for all his b*lls##t . i hope they get every last one of them ,and guantanemo is too good for them!
maybe a bit of their own medicine.......
hope the insurance investigation blows some stuff up tho. and someone reports it ,could be interesting to know what they know or find out .

i am getting more and more disgruntled with prisonplanets pushing of stories that are "maybe" scenario's or just an interpretation of a mainstream press article.
why not do your own investigations and write your own articles, or would that require being journalists not commentators?- hackwrench, on 10/12/2007, -8/+11The website is infowars.net and submitter is channeloneness. Where does "prisonplanets" come into play?
- Herkimer56, on 10/12/2007, -13/+10@refugeechris
That would require them to think for themselves instead of parroting Alex Jones and I don't believe that they have the intellectual capacity.
@ hackwrench
It's the same ***** coming from the same *****. No difference. - judgesixkiller, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0It would be nice for everyone to be able to make a living from doing their own research and writing articles. However, sadly, it doesn't pay the bills. Most people have to rely on the wealth of information on sites like prisonplanet.com because it is simply not feasable to be a journalist themselves. Besides, the fact that he said "pull it" alone should give an insurance company a legitimate reason for a fraud investigation.
- Antialias, on 10/12/2007, -13/+6Oh come on! If anything The insurance company will be the proof that 9/11 was not some wack jobs delusional conspiracy. If a company has to pay out billions of dollars, you can be damn sure they will follow every conceivable lead no matter how small to find a way not to pay out. That information most certainly be publicized and end all this conspiracy nonsense.
- HotDiggidy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11Silversein only had $386 million invested in the WTC complex and he initially asked the insurance companies for a $7 billion and is now asking for $3.5 billion. Wow, that's balls! How stupid are we, or rather how blind are we? Do gravitational forces contain enough energy to pound a building to a very fine dust that blankets the entire city? We have samples of the dust because our houses were covered in it so we know the fineness of the dust. With the mean diameter of the dust particles known and the content of the dust known, then the energy required to pulverize a building is known. The evidence is solid as a rock. All one has to do is to view the evidence.
Either your with us or your a terrorist. --Dubya - savitr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11This is interesting. Once anyone starts actually investigating what happened on 9-11-01, much will be revealed. I wish the insurers the best in this matter, if they do indeed have the courage to look carefully, and do indeed start looking. Odd truths will come out rather quickly, I think. Surprising stuff.
Look at all the protocols that got ignored, and laws, in order to get rid of the evidence as fast as possible. Why did 'they' do that? There are laws governing material evidence at the scene of a crime, and at the scene of an accident. And, in fact, who ordered that evidence destruction, and how? It had to come from high up in the chain of command since, otherwise, not following rules and laws gets you either fired or prosecuted or both.- diggfinity, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3We won't find out for a long time, I'm afraid.

“[Building designer] John Skilling recounts his people having carried out an analysis which found the twin towers could withstand the impact of a Boeing 707. Our analysis indicated the biggest problem would be the fact that all the fuel (from the airplane) would dump into the building. There would be a horrendous fire. A lot of people would be killed.” But, he says, “The building structure would still be there.”

lickmygiggle you are anything but a patriot. - diggfinity, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7A third of our country is ***** crazy, I suppose.
- seanoz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Notice that all the 'things' like lickmygiggle can do to defend their perceptions of reality, (which is dictated to them by 'authority') is to claim others are crazy, it is the HEIGHT of Hypocrisy.
They have no soul, and they are failing to maintain a grip on this soulless world, even in the face of these evil acts such as 911 they are making their positions weaker.
The strength and purpose of 911, to remove freedom and create another global war to cover for the economic hegemony that the bankers have had for so long, and the strength of it's 'story' is NOT in the conspiracy theory that 19 hijackers committed the act, it is NOT in the disbelief of it by a third of the population, (higher in Europe and other places), but it is in the strength of the sad soulless things that DO believe it and go about their business without changing their position. - swifty12, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3@ diggfinity
no 1/3 of our country is not ***** crazy because not 1/3 of this country is conspiracy theorists like you and your other 100 fake digg accounts. - diggfinity, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3@swifty12
Dude... seriously... what in the name of Sammy Davis Jr. are you talking about? - lickmygiggle, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Hey you know why they call it a conspiracy theory?
Because it's a theory with absolutely no ***** evidence to back it up.
- mindful, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11"In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man brave, hated, and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."
- diggfinity, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4This just in:
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the suspected mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks, confessed to that attack and a string of others during a military hearing at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, according to a transcript released Wednesday by the Pentagon. Mohammed claimed responsibility for planning, financing, and training others for bombings ranging from the 1993 attack at the World Trade Center to the attempt by would-be shoe bomber Richard Reid to blow up a trans-Atlantic flight with explosives hidden in his shoes. In all, Mohammed said he was responsible for planning 29 individual attacks, including many that were never executed. The comments were included in a 26-page transcript released by the Pentagon, which also blacked out some of his remarks.
Any thoughts?- mindful, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11"Confessed" in quites. Total propaganda. They probably have him so drugged and beat up he would "admit" to anything. This will not fly.
- kolanos, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9It is Guantanamo. Mohammend has no right to council or a jury of his peers -- it is a kangaroo court. For all we know these "confessions" of his were attained after many hours (if not longer) of torture. For all we know the transcript was fabricated and that Mohammed said nothing of the sort, but since it's Guantanamo, he has no recourse.
Nothing coming out of Guantanamo has any credibility whatsoever, period. Be it intelligence, confessions, or convictions. - jeanette3654, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Source? Had he been tortured?
- CmdrBob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1If you consider MK-ultra and torture, if you consider he was a known C.I.A. patsy, if your discerning mind can comprehend it's a staged 'kangaroo court' then perhaps one wouldn't be so fooled as to think what your supposed to by the idiot box (T.V.). If Khalid, Atta, Yosef, or any of them others looks like the "mastermind" to you then the Khazar's did work their magic well. Like my momma said, it'll come out in the wash, when the spin cycle is over.
- seanoz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Lol, thoughts?, what claim can anyone make? The Pentagon have this completely covered, their interrogation was likely not in the presence of any third parties, it most likely was all extracted by torture, making it likely it was all false.
And what's to say that they are torturing their own black op agent? Secret Intelligence groups have so many compartmentalised and secretive methods of covering their 'agency' that even their own superiors don't know who they can trust above OR below!
These 'tools' such as the 19 Saudi's etc. can be recruited from anywhere and made to do things without them being aware of the true agenda of the agents/terrorists.
Wake up, the elite are paranoid, perverted and delusional, they are completely crazy and cannot be trusted and that is why they are psycopahtic and criminal and involved in war and the war machine of weapons manufacture etc. which goes to the HEART of money because what do living things war over? Resources! ANd the key resource in todays world is MONEY, even though the true wealth is the strength of an individual, the physical leverage of a living thing is the true wealth, money is simply a way of transimitting that as an agreement.- diggfinity, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I don't know much about how Digg's algorithms work... but this story was just taken off Upcoming and wasn't placed in Popular. Can someone explain why?
- kolanos, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Because Digg and censorship go hand-in-hand?
- diggfinity, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I didn't realize there was censorship enforced here. =(
Kinda defeats the whole "democratic news" thing. - spyd3rweb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6@diggfinity, because the people living in the dream world bury it the ***** down
- diggfinity, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3So.... I could submit a story with a link to a 9/11-conspiracy-debunking site and it can be buried into nonexistence by those of us who have common sense?
I guess it evens out, then.
- jlhoben, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4What's with all the ad hominem attacks? Mill said expression was an important means of finding the truth and debate can only do that if there is a sincere critical appraisal of the evidence and arguments at hand. So stick to the issues. Who cares about who Alex Jones is or what he does, his arguments have nothing to do with that. He's not running for office is he? Even Chomsky has been/is ridiculed/dismissed as left wing etc. This is just muck raking at best.
- kolanos, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6There appears to be a whole army on these types of stories digging people's comments down like there's no tomorrow, too. Poor small-minded people with fragile worldviews that can't handle anything outside the realm of the "official story" -- all while their palace crumbles around them. They have my pity more than anything....

- kokoBware, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8There was another Digg story about the building 7/BBC controversy that got buried despite getting over 2000 diggs. And it was buried after getting 500-700 Diggs in the first couple hours... People could only find it by searching for it. That's Digg in a nutshell.
What do you think the over/under was for KSM "confessing" to 9/11? I'd say it was around 30 hours for straight waterboarding... Or longer if they went with the whole lsd/sleep deprivation/loud music brainwashing tactics. Which is good if they want to make it stick for a while.- HotDiggidy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7We are so controlled that we police ourselves. Aren't we good little slaves.

As seen on TV - chechen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1We need to investigate the insurance companies who paid of the claims
Without a thorough investigation, we need to find out who owns those
