Good Job Ireland..keep the fight on - flamov, on 06/14/2008, -0/+2I saw this on BBC News 24 last night, and as happy as I may be for the people who were celebrating, oh god they were childish.
- Totz83, on 06/13/2008, -0/+1I disagree, imo it just reinforces the notion that civilians want to have a say in what happens in Europe, the out of date protocols you speak of are pale in comparison to the lack of accountability that the European Government would have had the treaty of passed. Im proud that the Irish people stood up and said NO despite the pressure that European leaders put on Irish politicians to ensure a YES vote.
- tallymebanana, on 06/13/2008, -0/+1 The uncertainty that this decision will bring is the last thing that Europe needs right. It now has to continue running on out of date protocols until this mess is sorted out. This will cost Europe and Europeans dearly....
