- Russelllucid, on 06/29/2009, -0/+16How insulting is this to the Iranian people. We know its the evil United Kingdom behind the unrest, our own people could never imagine us capable of vote rigging and then brutally suppressing the resulting outrage...

- guybrushThreep, on 06/29/2009, -0/+8Fingers corssed that the remaining four are released safely and soon.
- collution, on 06/29/2009, -1/+9Iran's governing body is looking more and more pathetic daily.

/^ did I have to? - Russelllucid, on 06/29/2009, -1/+6"It is a mistake to assume that the ayatollahs, cynical and corrupt as they may be, are acting rationally. They are frequently in the grip of archaic beliefs and fears that would make a stupefied medieval European peasant seem mentally sturdy and resourceful by comparison."

- Moralogic, on 06/29/2009, -0/+2Because some people are just that crazy.
- andygavin, on 06/29/2009, -1/+3This is a power play: in the eyes of some Iranians this stirs looks like the interference that there was in the past. The Islamic Revolution was all about not having the system of government from the British/Americans. The British are interfering again seems like a stock response from officials to justify any "revolutionary" measures.
- 2facedtruth, on 06/29/2009, -2/+2Do I smell ***** on the part of both countries lets be honest here, UK admits that at least on of there people being held has the job of “reviewing local news sources and keeping abreast of political developments”, in other words keeping taps on the country by any means….
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Iranians had evidence of such person being on the front lines in the riots. On the other hand Mr. Mousavi keeps claiming the elections were rigged so were the 2000 U.S presidential elections, should Al Gore have held riots and the U.S torn apart for it “no he was the bigger man and walked away and now he advocates for plants and such”
But any who the guardian reported that the U.S government spent nearly 400million dollars on a color revolution in” Lebanon, Serbia, Georgia, Ukraine and Iran, Well I think there’s the problem don’t u think
And Oh Yea we don’t have any proof of these elections being rigged how many people in America die in Protests and no one says anything!!!! Being fed lies is all to easy but what’s building under the surface???? - tonsiljuggler, on 06/30/2009, -0/+0Spies were shot dead in other time areas. Or use as bargain material. Or just shot dead.
- hydraulicc, on 06/29/2009, -1/+0I think that it is provocation from outside Tigeran
