- NoDrama, on 06/11/2008, -0/+2He has certainly drawn independents and republicans to his campaign in MN, including the former chair of one of those "non-major" political parties. It's all about getting the real scoop into people's hands - or awareness. The more they learn about Obama the more they like him, and the less the viral smears and whispered innuendos work.

Tonight's Poll Highlights from WSJ/NBC
"In the head-to-head matchup, Obama leads McCain among African Americans (83-7 percent), Hispanics (62-28), women (52-33), Catholics (47-40), independents (41-36) and even blue-collar workers (47-42). Obama is also ahead among those who said they voted for Clinton in the Democratic primaries (61-19)."
That said: Lest he make the mistakes that Hillary made in February - I hope Obama always runs his campaign as IF he were running behind.
