I have heard Ron Paul mention or allude to this several times over this past year and a half including during RP’s first talk to a group of supporters in NH in which he introduced him as the “instigator” of getting him to run.
This in my opinion will be Kent Snyder’s legacy. He is the one that convinced Ron to run for president and so in a very literal sense he is the man behind the scenes that started the r3VOLution!
History and your fellow patriots will remember you for this Kent Snyder! Thank you for a job very well done!
Love and peace! - rhpaulite, on 06/30/2008, -0/+7not the time or the place

Thank You for being a friend of Liberty! - speciallyblend, on 06/30/2008, -0/+6Thank You Kent, the fight never ends, please read this ,sign it and spread it, www.lettertogop.com ,3 months is a mighty long time;) never say never
- dooglio, on 06/30/2008, -0/+5The problem is that the U.S. has a chronic debt-based mentality. Dr. Paul's message of constitutionality and fiscal responsibility makes people feel very uncomfortable, so they run back to their television sets and think that Obama's message of "change" will actually make a difference.
But as Ron Paul said, it's still a win. Look how many millions of people he's swung over to his camp, and these people might not have ever been exposed to his message without his bid for the presidency on the Republican ticket.
What we need is a sea change in thinking, not just a presidental win. - adnh, on 06/30/2008, -0/+5I was a staffer for Ron in NH. We tried to get him to move here, so we could focus our efforts and make the strongest showing. But I think to him, there were a lot of people that needed to hear our message all across the country, not just in the early states of Iowa and New Hampshire.
In retrospect, I think Ron was absolutely right. He had no chance of ever becoming President. But, our Revolution is much stronger because we've woken up a pretty good segment of our nation to the ideals of Peace, Freedom, and Prosperity. Support for RP and our movement is much stronger than the total votes, as I've encountered many people who supported Ron, even with $2,300 contributions, but said they voted for Candidate Y, so that Candidate X would lose.
If Kent was responsible for that strategy, I think it's safe to say he was a lot wiser than I gave him credit for at the time.
RIP Kent Snyder, you will be missed. - Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -0/+3Very sad, ......... thanks for all your efforts for freedom. We all need to take up the slack.
- themikeb, on 06/30/2008, -3/+6You are crying over spilled milk..
Besides. It was the MSM that shut out Dr Paul. He was too much of a threat to the NWO.
If it was not for Kent ; Dr Paul would have saved himself the aggravation ; would have never run!! - RonaldHLevine, on 07/06/2008, -0/+1Thank-you Kent Snyder. Ron Paul supporters are my heroes. I met Kent Snyder with Ron Paul on a few occasions. We must never give up. We must continue the Ron Paul movement. Our future generations count on us to continue to "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity." It is ironic that we are so powerful that no nation can take that away from us, yet we are about to vote it away.
- tentonsledge, on 06/30/2008, -0/+0All the rest of the posts here cover it... WE, the people must take his place. After all, anything worth achieving never comes easy. Especially against the 10 headed monster called big brother. RIP Mr. Snyder!
- ChimpFlix, on 06/30/2008, -6/+3Not having been an in-office worker at their campaign headquarters, I couldn't say whose indecision and lack of focus caused Paul's campaign to falter so. Perhaps it was even Paul himself. Although the Campaign for Liberty continues, I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Paul had utilized a seasoned, on-the-ball support staff.
