- Hillsfar, on 04/08/2008, -1/+32How about this for a headline?
"Clinton Victory Impossible without Bag Of Dirty Tricks: Seating falsely Florida and Michigan voters, Poaching already-pledged Obama delegates representing thousands of voters who chose Obama, Dirty tricks in Texas and North Dakota caucus politics, Fratricide and the 'kitchen sink' to use the words of a Clinton campaign aide, and Bribing superdelegates into override the popular vote." - tjlyttle, on 04/08/2008, -0/+23its not really tough math. Rocket science is tough math. Hillary can't win unless all the superdelegates overturn the voters decisions (which isnt even happening) or if she starts a military coup. Its not tough math, its a complete refusal of reality. Or as hillary called it, "A willing suspension of disbelief"
- lotsa1s, on 04/08/2008, -0/+13Don't forget Bosnian snipers and flower girls.
- lordno, on 04/08/2008, -0/+13It's so ironic. Here is Hillary, supposedly a democrat, the party that is supposed to represent the will of the people - and she is relying on superdelegates to win the nomination. Isn't that anti-democratic? Look at a map and see the select few states that support Hillary and then look at the massive amount of states that don't wont her to win. How is that democratic? She doesn't even have the popular vote yet she claims to represent the will of the people. She needs to look at the math and look at the reason why she became a politician in the first place.
- julianwan, on 04/08/2008, -0/+7Ah okay. I guess I got a bit touchy after spending the weekend with scandinavians up in San Francisco. The Swedes kept saying 'how beautiful' san francisco was and how it's so 'unamerican' because it's so beautiful. Along with other *****... haha
it took hours to explain that many americans, did indeed, come from europe, and maybe the style was recycled, and that san francisco, was indeed american. they were operating under the idea that if they found anything likeable in America, they should dissasociate it with the american culture.
pffftttt.... (breaths) okay my heart rate is down again - cheezintern, on 04/08/2008, -0/+6many military people seem to be supporting Obama, so the coup is out of the question.
- julianwan, on 04/08/2008, -0/+6oh, that's cute, you still think there's a connection between osama and saddam, i'd pat you in a belittling way, but optimistically i assume you're really ***** far away from me.
- pintomp3, on 04/08/2008, -0/+6actually, she's behind 2.6% in the popular vote. you are including the michigan and florida results, one state where only she was the ballot and another state where no one campaigned. how is it democratic to count an election where only one person in on the ballot?

- felman87, on 04/08/2008, -10/+15It's only 'tough math' for an American
- vex67, on 04/08/2008, -0/+4Get a job.
- julianwan, on 04/08/2008, -0/+4and furthermore, 'tough' in the title connotes 'tough for her to spin in her favor' not 'tough to perform due to complex mathematical theory'
- sjj141, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2008/04/07/us/ ... (more to the point)
- marky125, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3In other news, the sky is blue... >_>
- theaceoffire, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3That title is too ***** long.
- smacksaw, on 04/08/2008, -0/+3They sell popcorn in Carmel? I hope it comes in caramel!

- 0xception, on 04/08/2008, -0/+2Not so long as you dont mind titles getting obscure... but then i'm sure you'd complain about the title not making any sense...

Insert snappy new title below: - EtherGnat, on 04/08/2008, -0/+2I'm not calling for Hillary to quit, but she needs to tone down the negative campaigning. The media is almost exclusively focusing on the Democratic candidates due to the tight race. If it was a clean campaign it could be a great chance for positive press for both candidates. Hillary's negative campaigning and dirty tricks are only making it more difficult for the eventual Democratic nominee to get elected.
- pintomp3, on 04/08/2008, -0/+2relax, it was a joke.
- Doktag, on 04/08/2008, -0/+2I have something that will never be hard for Clinton.
< /sex joke > - cheezintern, on 04/08/2008, -2/+4nope hehe 69
- momsshizzle, on 04/08/2008, -0/+2With digg.com, everything will be hard for Clinton.
- hoovcluck, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1Article number three mentioning Montana! Now that is why I felt the need to stand in line for two hours to see Obama.
- pintomp3, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1wow, even her superdelegate count represents the status quo.
- drband36, on 04/09/2008, -0/+1FAB headline. All true. Unfortunately, a wee bit long.
Hillary Facts: She stoops to conquer
http://www.kitchensink08.blogspot.com - MalenfantX, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1You replied to someone who was completely correct, and you seem to be using a childish insult against people who support the only decent candidate. Are you stupid?
- 0xception, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1Kneejerk reaction?
well i think you should take some time, cool your head, relax, breath, and look at your post. then tell me who's jerking who... (ya i know how that sounds) but hey if you still can't get the joke that's fine, at least theaceofffire seemed to get it. Oh and by the way it doesn't matter if your an obama supporter or not...
Cheers! - robbh66, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1No, just the only one here who's never had one and so it still means a big deal to you.
- julianwan, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1'tough' in the title connotes 'tough for her to spin in her favor' not 'tough to perform due to complex mathematical theory'
(a quick reminder to anyone trying to knock on the apparently 'obvious' american ineptitude at basic mathematical reasoning, even though it's a system created by americans for americans, farangs continue to feel the arrogant need to teach our ways to ourselves) - julianwan, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1sort of, except they do some good, i mean, as much as they may have ***** up under bush, they did sort of save europe... twice...
and worked to avoid nuclear holocaust in the cold war...
and helped create many modern technologies such as nightvision and radar.
just saying, i think your crazy radicalism can be balanced out a bit by history - inactive, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1The math is to split the democrats, bamboozel them with meaningless issues other than personal freedom and constitutional awareness(which at least Obama seems to reconize, at least a little bit), then they can get someone who is a ***** fascist in the Whitehouse again. If its not Hillary then "they" will make McCain work. There is no other reason why she hasn't dropped out yet. ***** Obama is her goal now.
- 0xception, on 04/12/2008, -0/+1http://www.ericisgreat.com/tinfoilhats/
- Pherdnut, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1I'd see your point if it were another Huffington Post editorial.
- CypressQ, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1It does. I live in Caramel, we have plenty of popcorn!
- Pherdnut, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1I don't mind complaining about the media turning into a massive hive mind of uncreative hacks. Seriously, this tough math thing has been spammed by every media outlet for every single !@#$ing story involving statistics unfavorable to Clinton.
By the way you kneejerk dumbasses. I'm an Obama supporter. I just hate what's become of journalism. - Pherdnut, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1I think they understood that. Your next impulse is going to be to point out the things people wrote above but no, really, I think they understood that.
- theaceoffire, on 04/08/2008, -0/+1Don't forget to report the spamer!
- Charbax, on 04/08/2008, -1/+1Florida and Michigan would normally amount to 675 delegates.
- Hillary Clinton could win or has won those states.
- Current difference in delegate count is 136 delegates.
- There are still 906 delegates to be pledged from the remaining elections.
- 319 Superdelegates still haven't said who they are going to vote for.
Seriously guys, stop saying Obama has mathematically won. Respect democracy and let everyone vote. Don't fukc with Florida, remember the way they were part of the reason Bush has been president all those years. Let them vote guys. - kingygk, on 04/08/2008, -2/+2I'm buying a lot of Carmel popcorn this summer so I can watch the blood bath at the democrat national convention. Then we will get to watch the blacks burn down Washington DC because Hillary stole the nomination. This is going to be way better than reality tv!! I cant wait!!
- jaxter2010, on 06/17/2009, -2/+2Hey look, the 10th article today about how Clinton can't win the election...
/yawn - Pherdnut, on 04/09/2008, -1/+1So I take it media zeitgeist gone to such an excess that they take "news" from government propaganda firms and just assume the first link in the chain bothered to fact-check it doesn't bug you either. I see it as a part of the same problem when everybody has the same angle on every story. It's not just repetitive and obnoxious. It's unprofessional.
- patpl22391, on 04/08/2008, -2/+1I heard the jury is still out on math! But, seriously. Let all the primaries take place before calling for Clinton to quit.
- stevenhatfield, on 04/08/2008, -1/+0Especially in some of the states that have yet to vote, the Wright affair “is a big vulnerability,” said Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida, a Clinton superdelegate. And “all of this delegate stuff is artificial,” she added, alongside the reality that the party’s nominee must be able to carry big states like hers, where Mrs. Clinton won a disputed victory; Ohio, where she triumphed last month; and Pennsylvania, where she leads in polls.
The problem is that Mrs. Wasseman has her head buried in the sand... Clinton won Ohio after circulating another lie (that Obama told Canada that he secretly supported NAFTA), when in fact it was Hillary who has always supported NAFTA. If the truth were known, Obama would have won Ohio. - jp12380, on 04/08/2008, -3/+1Nope
- julianwan, on 04/08/2008, -7/+5You, and everyone who talks like you, seriously needs to shut the ***** up. It's getting old.
Yes, we have some stupid people in America, but we also have a plethora of smart people.
They're the ones behind every stupid reality show, not on it. They're the camera crews and campaign advisors, oh god look at me, I'm trying to defend something that needs no defense. Just ***** off with your anti-American rhetoric, it's getting old, and if you can't tell from the daily barrage of campaign headlines, we're trying HARD to fix our problems - vex67, on 04/08/2008, -2/+0Its only April. Granted there isn't much chance she can win, but at the same time this is a democracy and a lot of states haven't had their voices heard yet. It will play out slowly over the next two months, Clinton won't win by the majorities she needs to in PA or any of the other remaining states and then the super delegate deluge will begin finally happen pushing Obama over the magic number. Then onto victory in November.
- ralphodog, on 04/08/2008, -3/+0It's ok, if you throw up enough asterisks and have enough Obamatards on digg that agree with you, it must mean you're right!
