In-Flight Wi-Fi Censorship Reveals Anti-Tech Bias

blogs.computerworld.com — First Delta, and now American Airlines, plan to censor their for-pay Wi-Fi service during flights. They're filtering out porn sites, even though not a single case of a passenger viewing porn aloft has yet been reported. Meanwhile, airport bookstores actually sell print-magazine pornography. Wi-Fi censorship is just so much anti-technology bias.

    OH, WOW, I WONDER WHY PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT IT? COULDN'T BE THAT THEY WANT TO GET THE WORD OUT TO LET THESE COMPANIES KNOW THAT WE DON'T LIKE SUCH POLICIES.

    Second, buying a porn magazine in a store allows you to use it whenever you want.
    Accessing porn on your computer means you'll pretty much use it only at that moment and not later.
    Thirdly, it's a private company. They can do whatever the ***** they want. Don't like it? Don't use their services.
