Don't know how that didn't come up during the election. I still think he'll do a good job, hope so anyway, but that won't change the fact that he wasn't much of a senator.

Every news outlet is reporting on the historical, widespread corruption throughout Illinois and Chicago. How is it that Obama has zero dirt? Yes he kept his distance. But to get anything done, you gotta work with "The Machine".
That leaves three choices:
1 - Obama got nothing done in Illinois
2 - Obama wasn't around long enough to get any dirt on him
3 - Obama used his staff to handle the dirty stuff

Sadly, he probably will get a book or movie deal or figure out a way to monetize this.

The longer this goes on, the more it looks as though Obama was an active player and not an innocent observer as he would have us believe.
Supposedly Obama gets a high level intelligence briefing every day. Maybe that is followed by the low-level corruption briefing necessary to keep him up to speed on the hottest Chicago events. Right now the scum-bag politicians probably get more of his attention than the international bad guys.
