So I will get the ball rolling and suggest that all these top-down bailouts, will do little to innovate a credit driven financial system. It merely props up the house of cards a little longer. Congress needs to think bottom-up. That is, if they are to play favorites, they should privvy small businesses that are more flexible and adaptable to these changing times. There is the knock-off "The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel" which is unofficially referred to as "The Nobel Prize in Economics", even though it is completely unrelated to the Nobel Prize. There is also a lot of controversy over the possible bias in its awards.

As a general rule, most Californians, and a few other way out there states are out of touch with what the rest of America wants. If, and that is a big if, the first stimulus is going to work, it will take a little more time. This is just her trying to sneak more pork and more of her pet projects past the citizens and disguise it as though the economy needs this spending. This spending is exactly why the markets are tanking.
