Ideology over Common Sense: The GOP's Position On Sex Ed

politicususa.com — Even though research and Bristol Palin have demonstrated that abstinence only education is not effective, Republicans continue to support it. The GOP would rather play to ideological and religious fantasies than admit that abstinence only education drives up healthcare costs while providing poor to non-existent results.

  • bjornski, on 10/19/2009, -1/+4The Republican part has been the "Party of No" since Nancy Reagan uttered the words "Just say no" in reference to the drug war.

    Unfortunately, they've taken that stance on education, health care, banking reform and everything else.

    It's truly the party of ideas which has been proven not to work.
