- angusm, on 12/17/2007, -0/+3I for one applaud the resolute actions of Homeland Security in defending the US against the menace of Icelandic invasion. We cannot underestimate the threat posed by this foreign power which, barely more than thirty years ago, was engaged in a war against one of our closest allies, the United Kingdom, and whose aggressive, Viking-descended population numbers almost as many members as the United Stated Navy. Indisputable historical evidence shows that, as recently as the 12th century, Icelanders killed their own people. Do we really want these sinister blond-haired, blue-eyed foreigners with their unpronounceable language, their clean geothermal power and their inexhaustible supplies of cod to threaten our American way of life? Do you want your children to be forced to listen to Bjork and the Sugarcubes? I think not. Decisive action must be taken. If Iceland will not disarm voluntarily, we will form a coalition of the willing and do what needs to be done.
