1. A news team that tails somebody who isn’t a fugitive and isn’t going out of their way to be evasive, but is just trying to enjoy a weekend off? This is the way the National Enquirer gets their “news”, not a mainstream network. On the other hand, we ARE talking about Fox News here.
No kidding. Ambush central-- the way to achieve their agenda, and not report "news". no one is going to fare well under this circumstance, and they know that. It's a set up, where they have a predetermined desired outcome and are manufacturing said outcome.
That is NOT news, it is NOT ok, and it should NOT be tolerated by Americans. It's a gross abuse of their responsibility. After the Greta Sustern scientology-Palin scandal, I expect nothing less than pure corruption and manipulation from Fox. - inactive, on 03/23/2009, -19/+179I smell not just a 'worst persons,' but a complete segment again from Olbermann on what people must do when this happens. Luffa!
- LeftieLucy, on 03/23/2009, -20/+156I don't understand how someone like Watters can look himself in the mirror. He's just horrible. Is he proud of himself? Does he not realise that he's a horrible person?
- azarazou, on 03/23/2009, -13/+139What a creepy jerk. Stalking someone while on vacation. The whole purpose of this smear-job is to intimidate people so they don't speak out against Fox. Notice how they'll only show the part that makes her look bad. Good things blogs like that are here to fight Fox.
- ProfessorSYM, on 03/23/2009, -16/+114Anyone have the jackass "reporter"'s contact information?
If you come up with anything, post here; include full name, work and home addresses, personal telephone numbers, known email addresses and aliases. If anyone really wants to dig deep, feel free to add any relevant background information like hometown, schools attended, etc.
By appearing on O'Reilly, he's a public personality, so I guess that makes his business our business.
And that said, someone should go visit him with a camera crew and see how he likes ambush "journalism" when he is on the other end of the camera. Maybe ask him why he won't let people answer his questions when he accosts them in public. Or just ask him why he is such a pathetic excuse for a journalist. - AgeofMastery, on 03/23/2009, -15/+97One of these days these ***** are going to harass the wrong person and end up getting their ass kicked or eating a bullet. Can't say I'll feel very sorry when it happens either.
- Bartboy919, on 03/23/2009, -9/+75Question: Did you even read it?
No matter what side of the political spectrum you are on, this is pretty ridiculous, or am I wrong in this assumption. Would you enjoy having a camera shoved in your face and being harassed for no reason whatsoever? - Grova, on 03/23/2009, -8/+58If i had a ton of money I'd pay like twenty paparatzi guys to follow them around 24/7 just to mess with them.
- Diefree, on 03/23/2009, -6/+54And O'Rielly shows himself to be nothing more than an idiot and bully once again.
- chadsmith729, on 03/23/2009, -2/+47Fair and balanced.
- jellygraph, on 03/23/2009, -16/+60so, when are they finally going to shut down oreilly and investigate him and his team for illegal actions?
- infinitejones, on 03/23/2009, -2/+45You're an idiot, mrfoos. Sharks are little more than biological robots and when they attack baby seals covered in blood, they're responding to millions of years of evolutionary instinct. They can no more stop themselves from doing it than you could stop yourself flinching if someone slapped your stupid face for making such an idiotic comment.
If your daughter was raped after a night out and the rapist that your defence, whose side would you be on? - inactive, on 03/23/2009, -11/+48Fox News is behaving like a criminal organization, and I don't just mean their criminal abuse of how they present the news.
- freedomjoe, on 03/23/2009, -11/+47No, he thinks he is a raging success, because in the bubble where he lives, ANYTHING is justified if it brings in more ratings and serves the conservative agenda. And I mean anything.
You can't imagine how horrid these people are, so just do yourself a favor and take my word for it. I've worked in the industry and I can assure you that while there are some great people, the bad people it attracts are SO bad that they defy imagination. Bill O'Harassment, Soulless, Gutless Wonders of Slime.
It's all about the dollar, which is power, which is the conservative neo-con form of sexual prowess. Domination and the kill -- that's how they operate, with no apologies. - moose26, on 03/23/2009, -3/+38I think she should have contacted the police and or made a scene when she was being confronted. Stalking is a serious crime and is not to be taken lightly. She obviously had a witness and also it would have done them good to put some spotlight in other news about their being stalked by Fox News n Co.
- MrMischief20, on 03/23/2009, -1/+33She should have maced him.
- Newcastle, on 03/23/2009, -9/+40Only someone as paranoid and delusional as Bill-O could feel like he's trapped under the jackboot of *gasp* Intarweb bloggers, as he sits perched in his Fox News MSM Fortress.
- securitymonkey, on 03/23/2009, -4/+35Now THAT is something that I'd watch FOX news to see.
- ironhide, on 03/23/2009, -4/+33Weren't you complaining earlier because some people dugg down anti-Obama comments?
Crybaby. Grow a pair and quit your complaining. - antime1, on 03/23/2009, -6/+34Wow mrfoos. Just no.
- EnergyEinstein, on 03/23/2009, -15/+42I don't understand how Fox News is allowed to exist and function in this way? Anyone have any answers, ideas, etc?..
- AgeofMastery, on 03/23/2009, -4/+28I'd have some 6'6" 300 pound dude give him the same kind of intimidating ambush interview he likes giving to 5' 100 pound women.
- SeaICIubber, on 03/23/2009, -0/+23No he's not. He said "they" and asked for an investigation, Vigilante would be "we" and somehow just ***** 'em up.
- kareemachan, on 03/23/2009, -0/+23At least we're not the People Who Say Women Deserve What They Get.
- inajeep, on 03/23/2009, -3/+23Sounds more like TMZ than a real news org.
- Crazyredivan, on 03/23/2009, -1/+21What about the drunk idiots that actually do the raping? How can you possibly say a woman is at fault for being raped? And I'm not talking about cases where there was doubt as to whether or not she said "no" the next morning...those instances are unfortunate for everyone. But to say that a woman is at fault for her own rape and murder because she was drunk and dressed a certain way is insane.
"Now Moore, Jennifer Moore, 18, on her way to college. She was 5-foot-2, 105 pounds, wearing a miniskirt and a halter top with a bare midriff. Now, again, there you go. So every predator in the world is gonna pick that up at two in the morning. She’s walking by herself on the West Side Highway, and she gets picked up by a thug. All right. Now she’s out of her mind, drunk."
I really hope no women you know ever have that happen to them. No, it isn't a nice world we live in, but how do you blame the victim? - Vaiper, on 03/23/2009, -5/+25They still got one up on FOX. At least they don't claim to be Fair and Balanced. Who's side are you on? Screaming from the bleachers must be rewarding.
- inactive, on 03/23/2009, -1/+20Buried for being stupid enough to believe in the "Liberal Media"
- banderwocky, on 03/23/2009, -2/+19Maybe Bill'O just wants to give her a luffa?
- phramus, on 03/23/2009, -3/+20You are obviously from Fox. And you are obviously an *****.
- scrivener212, on 03/23/2009, -1/+18Well, aren't you a concerned citizen who cares about a person's right to express an opinion and not be stalked for it. May it happen to you.
- superdupergome, on 03/23/2009, -1/+17She handled the situation remarkably well, better then I would have. I'd like to see how O'Reilly tries to spin this.
- shutaro, on 03/23/2009, -10/+26***** FOX NEWS!
- maxkonin1, on 03/23/2009, -7/+23Fake news should have their license pulled or be categorized under comedy. It is not real news, that's for sure.
- sickbag69, on 03/23/2009, -4/+19Interesting comment. How would 'growing a pair' mainfest itself?
- phramus, on 03/23/2009, -0/+15Gender problem, or just can't read?
- sickbag69, on 03/23/2009, -1/+16All you did was copy / paste then add some exclamation marks. You didnt even read what you pasted.
I mean, come on, you're an *****.
FYI, 'he' is a 'she' - DevilInPgh, on 03/23/2009, -0/+14RTFA
- AfterTheCalm, on 03/23/2009, -2/+15Sweet... lindenwold just made it acceptable to rape someone as long as they fit the description of slutty, and incoherent.
- scoot2006, on 03/23/2009, -3/+16I'd love to see all these guys get punched in the face at least once. It's definitely not news and is really ***** rude but I don't think it's illegal to ask someone questions on public property. I think it is harassment to follow someone for two hours and barrage them with unwarranted questions, though. He should have called the police as soon as they started with, "We're with Fox..."
- aduzik, on 03/23/2009, -6/+19The suggestion that any woman could ever deserve to be raped is just one small example of what makes Bill O'Reilly irredeemably evil.
- scrivener212, on 03/23/2009, -4/+17I wish the people O'Reilly pulls this ***** on would immediately pull out their cell phones and call the cops. Have these clowns arrested. They are stalking people who try to go about their ordinary days, following them from place to place. That's not legal.
- zeroneuro, on 03/23/2009, -7/+20I think maybe a real news station like CNN should pick up this story and deal with the situation before it is "broken" as news by O'Reilly. Fox News is simple, bigoted entertainment. Heck, MSNBC is more honorable and moral than Fox News... and that's saying something.
Frankly, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, and their ilk should all be ashamed of themselves. This is the 21st Century and there is no more room for this nonsense in our society. Why can people not adapt their moronic sense of morality to include social and technological progress? - anawnymoose, on 03/23/2009, -2/+151: She, not he. Read the article before you claim to know anything about it.
2: O'Reilly has publicly denounced people doing exactly what he did to this woman. I'd think someone as angry and vocal and you would get the concept of "hypocrisy" and why that might upset people.
3: He's doing it because she called him out on his stance on rape victims. What a horrible woman, right?
4: Every single comment in your history is an uninformed bit of negative garbage so you're either a typical "hate everything" idiot or trying to get attention. - chocula78, on 03/23/2009, -4/+17The ***** store called. They are all out of you.
- GumshoeMike, on 03/23/2009, -2/+14Buried for being typical Fox News apologist
- Psyber1an, on 03/23/2009, -2/+14Sad that when neocons tossed out traditional conservative values, decency went with them...truly sad...
Agree with above comments about videoing them back. With camcorders being standard in so many phones, payback gets more likely every day...non-violent to boot... - biotch, on 03/23/2009, -0/+12Yeah this whole thing reminds me of scientologists
- Kelto1, on 03/23/2009, -0/+11Leave it be. If there's one thing I've come to learn in my conversations about Fox to their supporters, it's that they'll defend just about anything Fox does. Some how, some way, they try to pull some bogus reason to make even the unreasonable justified.
- jj101, on 03/23/2009, -2/+13@matthewDuke: The reality is that the smart people (not just liberals) realise that all people are to be protected at all times. Thats called law. Its dumb people that think they're smart that post comments like yours.
