- mdonato, on 09/05/2008, -12/+81What a true American hero! Lucky he wasn't renditioned for daring to confront the GOP with their hypocrisy.
- Parisjune, on 09/05/2008, -12/+77Thank you Mr. Kokesh!

no mention that one of the anti-war protesters was an Iraq War veteran. - Journeywithinn, on 09/05/2008, -1/+26Ya..and wait til the rest of his buddies join him.

- muckemuck, on 09/05/2008, -0/+20USA, USA, USA .... oh.. the irony.
- kemp34, on 09/05/2008, -2/+21That was sickening the mindless chanting.

- PFCWilliams, on 09/06/2008, -4/+19I thought having a free and open society was suppose to be a good thing?
O I see, a free and open society is not good when its an opportunity for you to criticize McCain.
Shall we hire more police and install more cameras and create more lists of suspected terrorist and make people walk around with papers identifying their political affiliation just so we can stop hecklers from getting into their oppositions political rallies? - inactive, on 09/05/2008, -6/+20Patriot Kokesh!
- GoKings, on 09/06/2008, -7/+20Did anyone else notice that most of the Vets sat there with an semi-emotionless almost angry look on their faces as McCain delivered his speech? Watch the coverage again, and the majority of the older Vets don't look happy at all.
- ironhide, on 09/06/2008, -4/+17He's a Ron Paul supporter. He IS right-wing you nitiwit!
- TheAmazingBob, on 09/06/2008, -3/+14Much more of "An American Hero" than John McCain.
- slabdigger, on 09/05/2008, -4/+15Clearly the far left wing media at work again.
- vincebodie, on 09/05/2008, -7/+18Adam Kokesh for Secretary of State in 2012!
- ironhide, on 09/06/2008, -2/+12His voting record?
- AhrenBa, on 09/06/2008, -1/+11WOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come on man, no need for all caps in the title.
- GregFD3S, on 09/06/2008, -6/+16His name is Adam Kokesh and he has a website.
http://kokesh.blogspot.com/ - teraken, on 09/06/2008, -0/+9Buried for stupidity.
- BlackBloke, on 09/05/2008, -3/+11Since it was on auto, I doubt that there was anything ideological in intent here. Still this can also be interpreted as illustrating McCain's blatant hypocrisy.
- LordoftheLoo, on 09/06/2008, -2/+10Actually, McCain has voted against some things for veterans. Here is a link that maybe will show you what this protester was talking about. http://www.veteransforcommonsense.org/articleid/95 ...
(While I respectfully disagree with you, I'd just like to say thanks for serving our country...not to sound corny or anything) - Pedestrian101, on 09/06/2008, -3/+11An interview with a heckler made it to the front page, what the ***** has happened to Digg?
- ironhide, on 09/06/2008, -3/+11Nope, more embarrassed by people like you.
- inactive, on 09/06/2008, -0/+7Now you're catching on.
- 30thElement, on 09/06/2008, -3/+10I heard him speak once, and he talked about how he served on the front line. He talked about the retaking of Fallujah, how he was there and had to wait several days because high command knew it would be messy and wanted it to take place after the November Election. He talked about how because they just sat outside of the city for several days, waiting for the Election to end, the insurgents had ample time to prepare, and consequently more Marines died then needed to. He was a Marine that joined BEFORE 9/11, and one of the few that cared enough about the Iraqi people that we were trying to save to try to learn Arabic. Do not question his patriotism or service.
- pintomp3, on 09/06/2008, -0/+7yes, i am deeply ashamed. this ***** thinks his military record shields him from all criticism. just because he served in the military doesn't mean he knows everything about war. i wish this ***** would shut the ***** up.
we're talking about mccain, right? - NuttyVirus, on 09/06/2008, -5/+12If we had more people like Adam Kokesh who weren't controlled by the media and feared the government, just imagine.....but thats going to far.
- AzraDarkness, on 09/06/2008, -0/+6well atleast he didnt turn into the next Don't Taze Me Bro...
- ironhide, on 09/06/2008, -0/+6Kokesh is a Ron Paul supporter (you know, tried to run for President as a REPUBLICAN). Guess you have a problem with dissent within the Republicans.
- inactive, on 09/06/2008, -2/+7Please... As a US Marine, I will feel nothing but disgrace if this man get's elected. I'm not some Obama fan boy, I'm not voting for either. Yet anyone who tries to convince themselves, or fool our country into thinking John "Songbird" McCain is a hero is doing our country a disservice.
- FairDinkumMate, on 09/06/2008, -2/+7Only he wasn't a Democrat at the Republican convention, he was a REPUBLICAN!
So now not only do the Republicans not let Democrats into the Republican convention(makes sense really or it would just be a "people's" convention!), but they remove Republicans that disagree with them as well? - ironhide, on 09/06/2008, -1/+6Let me try to explain this to you. Adam Kokesh is a Ron Paul supporter. Ron Paul ran for President as a Republican...do I have to draw you a picture? Kokesh isn't a Democrat.
- pintomp3, on 09/06/2008, -1/+6Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America - John McCain rating: D; versus Obama's B+ http://www.iava.org/full-ratings-list
massaks: no, they served their country, which is much more than we can say about neo-con heros like bush, cheney, wolfowitz, and limbaugh. perhaps you feel they are "phony soldiers".
funny how generation chicken hawk supports the war so much:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFGit_tZDqs - inactive, on 09/06/2008, -0/+5Nice to see the Digg Deathsquads are out in force again tonight. Brownshirts FTL
- blinkerbug, on 09/06/2008, -5/+9McCain also did some real disservice to the families of POWs.. here.. listen to the Vietnam Veterans Against McCain talk about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFM1xqqTX_g
- mytealjacket, on 09/05/2008, -14/+18Ya but don't waste your vote on Bob Barr!!! If you don't want McCain to win, the only way to vote against him is by voting for Obama. Period. Otherwise you're just throwing your vote away... you're not 'sending a message' to anyone.
Please vote for Obama, we can't risk it this time. I don't want WWIII. - sparkleton, on 09/06/2008, -2/+6While I understand your point that voting for a 3rd party or an unlikely candidate will have little to no effect on the election, I disagree with what you say in that voting for what you believe in is never a wasted vote.
- Madrox17, on 09/06/2008, -0/+4"There's rarely an accident, or coincidence in the tickers on network TV."
This man would like to disagree:
http://www.cymerian.com/innis.jpg - gimpbully, on 09/06/2008, -5/+9heckler? it was... calm protest. They guy had to have paid to get in (you don't sneak into the RNC)..
- Jagdhund, on 09/06/2008, -0/+4Protesters aren't terrorists, and are not treated as such. The GOP stands for respecting the rights of the individual, including ***** who want to try to disrupt speeches.
- blinkerbug, on 09/06/2008, -0/+4No, it's the irony that they were chanting that to silence an Iraq War veteran who was yelling "McCain votes against veterans". It's sad really that the GOP convention has turned into a public coronation where no dissension is allowed..
sadder still that the US taxpayers paid over $60,000,000 for that convention and many of us don't support their views. If the Republican party really were a party that stands for smaller government and lower taxes then they wouldn't take my money for their party. - inactive, on 09/06/2008, -4/+7If crashing your plain and squealing is honorable, than you have a sick and twisted world perspective.
