Maybe. I think it provides insight, but doesn't necessarily evoke a paradigm shift in one's beliefs. It stands more as a documentary. I would argue most people didn't draw something they could use in their own lives from the video.
Knowing how to react to the situation is the definitive issue. People can continue to 'research' conspiracy, or they can focus on how they themselves choose to live their lives in the face of tyranny. Not enough people are doing the latter, and many more people are ignorantly attacking dissent of the state agenda as 'tin foil' activity. Those people may deserve pity, but they only deserve contempt if they refuse to recognize the liberty of others, particularly those who do not enjoy popular support in society.
Promoting the war on terror and evoking conformity to the law only magnifies the problem of finding liberty in a growing police state.
