- DrummerAndrew, on 10/08/2008, -0/+3Screw cable companies! Once the internet features live tv from all the major networks, as well as the current on-demand content, there will be no reason for cable companies. There will one day be a world in which Bit Torrent is no longer used for tv shows and movies, but merely warez and pron. I look forward to this day.

Also, channels often pay cable companies or offer their channels for free (they make their money through ads). Cable companies have been taking a cut from both parties involved.
I've been using over the air / bittorrent / Hulu for ~3 years now, and that's ~2500 saved.
