Huckabee "MoneyBomb" Bombs
liberty-post.blogspot.com — Huckabee's attempt to copy Ron Paul's grassroots campaign "moneybomb" fails miserably. As of 2:30pm PST, Huckabee campaign has only raised around $100,000 of 2 million goal.

- SheilaNoya, on 11/21/2007, -13/+13Huckabee's fans already gave all of their money to Televangelists and snake oil salesmen. They don't even have enough money left to put hamburger in their Hamburger Helper.
- Quick2822, on 11/21/2007, -5/+6Ok, that made me laugh.
- Rhino2, on 11/21/2007, -5/+3When I read the title of this article I seen Nelson from the Simpson pointing and saying.... "Ha Ha!"
Poor Huck... I guess he's kind of ... not doing good.- yazproductions, on 11/21/2007, -4/+2lol, miracle spring water.
- fuzzywzhe, on 12/21/2007, -0/+0Don't be cruel. I just don't think many of these people haven't though enough about who should be president, and why. Give them time, don't turn them off.
- DaveDepraved, on 11/21/2007, -8/+3what putz's.
- BeingJohnGalt, on 11/21/2007, -12/+11You can't order this kind of grass-roots support... It must be earned. Smooth talking is nothing compared to good ideas, rational thought and steadfast integrity toward freedom.
Obama Tried the same and brought in a little over $6k. Talk about an upset! ;)
Viva la rEVOLution!- Misesean, on 11/21/2007, -1/+5Yeah, Huckabee did pretty well actually. He's no Ron Paul, but we knew that already.
- helraizr, on 11/21/2007, -10/+5It's still pretty close (ronpaulgraphs) DONATE TO RP NOW!
- ginzoepix, on 11/21/2007, -11/+6Ron Paul will make more today than Huck's money bomb. Hmm, I wonder if the media will report anything.
- ilikemike, on 11/21/2007, -2/+6How's Paul polling in Iowa?
- MoniqueMoniCat, on 11/21/2007, -4/+4not too good. that's why all the ron paul supporters are on the huckabee blogs. they are jealous but they are still attracted to huckabee, even when they don't want to be, even when they don't understand why, even when they just can't help themselves. THAT'S WHY they are all over our huckabee blogs.
can't really blame them, they're out in the cold and they see the warmth, they don't know why but they are being pulled to that warmth. thanks ron paul supporters for all your help on getting huckabe more traffic to huckabee blogs and postings.
keep up the good work for Mike Huckabee. remember, silly, naive, hate mongering energy can be used wisely by the huckabee camp, anything to burn in the fire is good.
thanks for more fauder!

GO HUCK GO!- yazproductions, on 11/21/2007, -2/+2huck failed, join the revolution.
- fuzzywzhe, on 12/21/2007, -0/+0I hope not. Do you really want another smooth talking fake conservative in the White House again? I'm tired of empty promises, why aren't you?

"obama's friday"... obama tried and failed. nov 20th, "huck's for the children".... tried and failed. tomorrow nov 21 thompson is trying....

Dec 16, here we come. you can't fake a rEVOLution.- MoniqueMoniCat, on 11/21/2007, -4/+5DEAR WHAT THE HELL. NOTHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR rEVOLution. you'd get eaten up! now go wash your soul in the BLOOD OF JESUS. just like i and many of us have done. do you think hell is a joke?
- ilikemike, on 11/21/2007, -6/+9Wow. There are so many things wrong with the title, description and article linked to I don't know where to start. In the same description the fund-raiser is represented as both a grassroots effort and the Huckabee campaign. It is one or the other, it can't be both. Article poster will have to make up their mind. The official stance of the Huckabee campaign, and Huck's Army (the largest Huckabee grassroots group) has been that one-day fund-raisers are not the best way for their campaign to raise money. That doesn't mean it isn't appropriate for other campaigns...it just isn't the ideal way for the Huckabee campaign. Huckabee's campaign prefers that supporters donate when they can, rather than holding their money. Another element that is viewed negatively by a good number in the Huckabee campaign regarding one-day fund-raisers, or money bombs, is that they become an end in and of themselves and distract from the message. Money is not the message. The campaign needs money to spread its message, but for about $60,000 the Huckabee campaign spread the viral Chuck Norris approved video. So Huckabee doesn't need a multi-million dollar fund-raising day to compete - he is very close in Iowa, and has been as high as tied for second in the Rasmussen Poll. So, if supporters of other candidates want to concentrate on side-issues like money bombs and say in effect, "My Daddy is richer than your Daddy," that's fine. However, I don't think that argument holds much appeal for voters and doesn't really bring any new supporters into a campaign.
- MoniqueMoniCat, on 11/21/2007, -5/+8i believe the ron paul supporters that are going around being so negative they are really giving their candidate ron paul a bad name and they are really really jealous huckabee is doing so well. but all their blogging only helps huckabee and they are too naive to know it. all the energy that they spend directed towards huckabee and his supporters GOES TO HUCK AND HIS SUPPORTERS. SO I SAY "THANKS" TO THEM.
after all, you don't see huckabee supporters going over to RON PAUL SITES to waste our time and energy directing it to ron paul. but you DO see the ron paul supporters COMING TO THE HUCKABEE SUPPORTERS. VIVA LA NAIVETY OF RON PAUL SUPPORTERS! BRAVISIMO!!
even animals know this, and they utilize it to their advantage. BECAUSE IT'S A SURVIVAL TECHNIQUE.- adam1mc, on 12/28/2007, -0/+1What supporters? You mean the same one's that can't even raise $100,000?
Sorry. Hate to tell you but that's not support. Go sit back on your couch and continue watching Fox News. Allow them to keep dictating to you who doing well in this pre-primary season.
- adam1mc, on 12/28/2007, -0/+1What supporters? You mean the same one's that can't even raise $100,000?
- yazproductions, on 11/21/2007, -9/+3chuck + huck = a whole lot of vomit. join ron paul
- ally7, on 11/21/2007, -2/+6Some of these comments are so disrespectful. The Huckabee campaign reached its goal yesterday. It is not about the money, it is about the message. No money in the world could persuade me to vote for Ron Paul. Mike Huckabee is the only candidate I can believe in and trust with our future. He has my support 100%!
- fuzzywzhe, on 12/21/2007, -0/+0"No money in the world could persuade me to vote for Ron Paul."
Would reason entice you?

What do you disagree about in there? Furthermore, Paul's 30 year voting record is absolutely consistent with everything he wrote there.
- fuzzywzhe, on 12/21/2007, -0/+0"No money in the world could persuade me to vote for Ron Paul."
- Nanellen, on 11/22/2007, -1/+3Mike Huckabee is the best candidate. The grassroots effort is paying off. His support is growing.
- zaffa, on 12/27/2007, -0/+1His candidacy is a sham. He is just another puppet of the media. He had zero dollars, zero recognition, and zero polling. Than, out of no where, he surges in the polls. Why you might ask...It's because the media want him to come out on top. His entire campaign is therefore nothing more than a sham.
- bublenation, on 12/25/2007, -1/+0I'm 100% pro-life. I'm a practicing Catholic. I believe in the Christian Just War Theory developed by Saint Thomas Aquinas and Saint Augustine(Google it). I believe that you should treat others as you would like to be treated (Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31), and not go marching around the globe telling people what they SHOULD do when you have plenty of problems of your own.(Matthew 7:3)
When will Americans stop being such a shallow voter and actually vote for someone who represents what the founding fathers stood for? Voters need to analyze the issues and find out what is the most serious issue to you. To me it goes in this order: Right to Life (I'm Pro-Life), Liberty (Freedom of Government coerciveness) , and Property (Eminent Domain, Respect for my wealth, aka: my income, and the value of my dollar). Who stands for these issues? Who has actually proved in the past where he stands and has no lowered himself to become a comedian to make fun of other candidates?
