- MrDuke77, on 10/14/2008, -0/+15How pathetic that morons driven to the polls by B.O. supporters in exchange for some beer or cigarettes will be able to cancel out the votes of informed voters who oppose their ill-prepared candidate!
(P.S. I would be equally disgusted by the Republicans if they had an "ACORN" group canceling out informed B.O. voters, but such a large, tax-payer-funded, vote-stealing organization doesn't exist on the Republican side.)
How about a simple test before you're allowed to vote? Perhaps even easier than what you'd find on the citizenship tests. Guess who'd be most adamantly opposed?
The side that relies on ignorant voters to put them over the top! The side that has dignified slogans like "Bros before Hos" or "Sarah Palin is a C_ _ _ _!"

- diggFunction, on 10/14/2008, -0/+12This is surely small of me, but if Obama wins, I plan on giving him as much of a chance as the Democrats gave George Bush. I will gleefully forward every paranoid anti-Obama rumor that I see, along with YouTube footage of his verbal missteps. I will laugh and email heinous anti-Obama photoshop jobs, and maybe even learn photoshop myself to create some. I’ll buy anti-Obama books, and maybe even a “Not My President” t-shirt. I’m sure that the mainstream bookstores won’t carry them, but I’ll be on the lookout for anti-Obama calendars and stuff like that. I will not wish America harm, and if the country is hurt (economically, militarily, or diplomatically) I will truly mourn. But i will also take some solace that it occurred under Obama’s watch, and will find every reason to blame him personally and fan the flames.
Obama’s thuggish behavior thus far in this election cycle – squashing free speech, declaring any criticism of his policies to be “racist” (a word that happily carries little weight with sensible people these days), associating with the likes of Ayers, Wright, and ACORN - suggests that I won’t have to scrape for reasons to really viscerally dislike Obama and his administration. And even if he wins, his campaign’s “get out the vote fraud” activities are enough to provide people like me with a large degree of “plausible deniability” as to whether he is actually legitimately the president.
I’ve seen a President that I am generally-inclined to like get crapped on for eight years, and I’ve seen McCain and Palin (honorable people both, despite policy differences I may have with them) get crapped on through this election season. If the Democrats think that a President Obama is going to get some sort of honeymoon from the folks who didn’t vote for him, as a wise man once said: heh.

People on the right WERE warning that Clinton's promise to lower taxes for the middle class was a crock of feces, and they were right...he admitted he tried and just couldn't do it mere days after taking over, and raised taxes on everyone instead.
They warned he was an extremist on abortion...and he repeatedly vetoed partial birth abortion bans passed by bipartisan majorities.
They warned he'd use the military as a social experiment promoting homosexuality...and one of the first moves he made was try to force the military to accept openly gay soldiers, only to back down due to the unexpected back-lash and ushered in "don't ask don't tell" instead.
People on the right warned he was a lecherous horn dog...and they were right when his inability to keep it in his pants lead to his impeachment for lying about having oral sex with an unpaid intern.
They warned he would put extreme left-wing judges into the Supreme Court...and he came through in spades with Ginsberg and Breyer.
They warned he would weaken our national defense...and he reliably slashed defense spending and set us up for 9/11 as we were attacked by Muslim terrorists throughout his Presidency without any effectual response.
I think the naysayers warning about B.O. have earned the right to be heard...but the B.O./B.C. cheerleaders in the mainstream media are still powerful enough to make sure their voices are muted. - Spuy767, on 10/14/2008, -0/+7Indeed. The simple fact is, Obama supporters have not a sincle clue what they're buying when they vote Obama. They've simply downed the hope & change kool-aid and are suddenly all about obama. As I've said in many threads, I've examined Obama's policies and voting records in depth so that I have intelligent counter points and arguments should I ever need them. Unfortunately, I've yet to run into the Obama supporter who doesn't flee the second that they realize that they're arguing with someone who has an impossibly firmer grasp on the nature of politics than they ever will.

- eddywin, on 10/20/2008, -3/+3I would like to see the same interviews with mccain supporters using the ole switcharoo method and put obama's views in there. lets see what they say? all this proves is that the average voter is ignorant and only votes based on popularity, it's highschool elections all over again.
- Dumprun, on 10/14/2008, -11/+2The end is near. Give me a break. The sky was falling when Bill Clinton was elected too.
- shoq, on 10/14/2008, -16/+1Gosh, Stern can find ignorant voters, of the same type fox news breeds almost daily. You people that cheer such vapid and shallow drivel are comically stupid. You can find dopey voters in any party, on any day. You're a perfect case in point. Grow up.
