I've heard stories that there are quite a few Obama organizers from around the country that are planning to pay their own way to Georgia. Imagine the Obama 50 states ground game on steroids! - joand315, on 11/09/2008, -0/+4That's inspiring. I can't believe those guys have any energy left.
- sgiffy, on 11/10/2008, -0/+3I'm not feeling confident about this one. I am pretty sure Chambliss will be able to hold the seat especially given no Obama on the ballot. Also, if this seat does become the potential 60th Dem seat I can see that cutting against Martin among moderates that, while possibly sympathetic, are nervous about giving one party that much power.
- Hale, on 11/09/2008, -4/+1Chambliss had more money than Martin? Are you serious? Martin was running anti-Fair Tax ads on tv every 2 god damned minutes while Chambliss was lucky to get in 10% as much air time. Also, Libertarians in GA are likely huge Fair Tax supporters (after all, we're home to John Linder, Neal Boortz, and Clark Howard), and I don't see how any of them could vote for Jim Martin after the almost slanderous campaign he ran against it over the past few months.
