Homosexual agenda includes threatening politicians
worldnetdaily.com — Activists threaten Oklahoma lawmaker.

- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -15/+12I just read that story and threw up in my mouth, like 5 times. I thought the Daily Oklahoman was the most biased and inaccurate news source I had ever read, but I think worldnetdaily just won the prize.
- BECoole, on 03/20/2008, -5/+15What was inaccurate?
Some of the things the article mentions, such as accusations that her son is homosexual, have even shown up on Digg.- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -11/+11Any story that uses the phrase homosexual agenda is a joke. It is a phrase made up by people like Coulter and Kern.
- InRussetShadows, on 03/20/2008, -7/+10See? When pressed for facts to support their invective, the left can only say "wahh wahh wahh, I don't like this or that phrase." You just lost the debate, Jon.
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -8/+7Wait what? I was debating someone?
The point is that she is a hateful and terrible representative. I am from Oklahoma and have followed this story. She won't be re-elected thanks to this coming to light and it is for the better of this state and community. Most of the 27,000 e-mails that were sent to her were not from gay people or some huge underground "homosexual agenda" but instead from normal people from all around the country who see how terrible the hate that people like her spew out is. Our governor and other state officials were flooded with e-mails expressing concerns about someone as deranged as Kerns holding an elected office. I think christians are members of a cult and religion is doing more to destroy society than it is to help it, but I don't go around trying to stir up trouble because for the most part christians are responsible and upstanding members of society just like most homosexuals. If someone wants to be a christian it doesn't affect me so they should be able to do it and the same applies for being a homosexual. There are obviously exceptions to the rule like Kerns and the people who sent her threatening e-mails, but they really deserve each other. Statements like Kerns only support violence against homosexuals and as is shown by the story threats of violence against her. You reap what you sow. - CryRightardCry, on 03/20/2008, -4/+3Ah, right asshole.
So he DIDN'T convince you not to be an intolerant prick?
What a shock.
And here you are DEFENDING INTOLERANCE.
That's what you are doing, is it not?
You are here to defend this dumbass's conviction that she has some sort of right to slander people.
So you'd be fine with me saying rightards are paedophiles then? I believe it, so no matter how ridiculous it is it's OK?
That slander would be fine for you?
Good to know.
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -8/+7Wait what? I was debating someone?
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -4/+10I apologize, InRussetShadows is right. I didn't address the question. I honestly thought you all were joking. I thought Digg users were smart enough to not take something like this seriously but apparently this place is going downhill. I suppose I will explain why the article is biased and inaccurate since you all can't seem to see it.
1. It is on worldnetdaily.com
2. It implies that all of the e-mails she got were threatening and badgering. I know for a fact that most of them were not threatening and badgering. I wrote one myself and know many other people from Oklahoma who wrote her and other state officials in a civil manner expressing legitimate concern over her remarks. She is an elected official and when she says things her constituents disagree with she should expect to hear from them.
3. The headline implies that someone homosexual sent her the threatening e-mail(s). There is absolutely no proof that said e-mails were sent by a homosexual.
4. The article is very one sided. If I had written this for my journalism class I would have failed the assignment. The entire article sides with Kerns and doesn't take into account the views and feelings of the other side and only lends legitimacy to Kerns' side. This is a piece of propaganda, not news.
Did Kerns get some threatening e-mails? Yes. Were most of the threatening? Probably not. Would Kerns have gotten more threats if she had said "Christianity is a greater threat to america than terrorism?" Probably.- lydecker, on 03/20/2008, -2/+34. The article is very one sided.
Of course it is. See number 1.
I was upset when I saw people posting her number and email address, because I knew it would just make sure that people who want to feel better about themselves by putting her down would have a venue. Hopefully she can ignore the hateful comments, and listen to the real ones.
- lydecker, on 03/20/2008, -2/+34. The article is very one sided.
- Chestnutridge, on 03/21/2008, -1/+2Well for one thing, the article whitewashed her comments. It left out that her speech was much more over the top than they reported. For instance, she claimed homosexuals were "worse than terrorists." Boy if a liberal said anyone on the right was worst than terrorists, we would never hear the end of the cries of "traitor!"
- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -2/+1Actually, people on the left say terrible things about conservatives fairly constantly. Look at all the hateful comments toward conservative Christians all over Digg. Are you kidding?
- Chestnutridge, on 03/22/2008, -0/+1Both sides say terrible things about each other. My point was simply that the artilce whitewashed her comments and took out her over the top rabble rousing so that it could make her into a conservative victim. She isn't and no one should be giving her any sympathy now.
- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -2/+1Actually, people on the left say terrible things about conservatives fairly constantly. Look at all the hateful comments toward conservative Christians all over Digg. Are you kidding?
- these3remain, on 03/20/2008, -6/+10"she is a hateful and terrible representative" And you have determined this because she disagrees with the homosexual lifestyle? So essentially you think anyone who disagrees with the homosexual lifestyle is "hateful". Right./sarcasm.
I think there are many people who disagree with the homosexual lifestyle that are loving, honest, compassionate people who do just do not want to validate an immoral lifestyle as "normal" and "acceptable" just like any other form of immorality. That does not make them "hateful".- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -4/+5Saying that it is a greater threat than terrorism is being hateful and clearly ignorant of reality. I was not implying that everyone who disagrees with it is hateful, you are the one that implied that.
- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -4/+2There is nothing "hateful" about it at all. She believes it is something that will destroy this nation. She believes that with all her heart. She is concerned about the nation. Sorry, but not everyone believes homosexuality is good. A huge number of people in America believe that homosexuality is gravely immoral.
- CryRightardCry, on 03/20/2008, -5/+3No moron.
The hateful comments are what is hateful.
Who gives a ***** what this dumbass thinks? She can hate all she likes in private.
Once she goes into a public meeting and addresses constituents with such vile hate mongering and intolerance it becomes UNACCEPTABLE and UNAMERICAN. WE are better than that as a nation, even if individually there are ignorant people who fall short of the mark.
I'm not really interested in hearing your rationalizations on why you should be permitted to slander a group, it suffices to say that MANY right wing scumbags manage to rationalize it to themselves.
You are full of ***** when you say that some loving compassionate people still slam gays. THEY consider themselves loving and compassionate, but they are not.- these3remain, on 03/20/2008, -3/+4I see you have the standard lack of vocabulary that is typical of those who are products of the secular humanist indoctrination system. Strengthen your argument rather than name-call.
"vile hate mongering and intolerance " - she did not say anything that was characterized by either of those adjectives. She stated her opinion, which was not full of any sort of hate-filled invectives like your own. She was not derogatory as you have been, nor slandered anyone. She did not "slam gays"; she expressed her opinion which disagrees with your own. But clearly, if ANYONE disagrees with the gay lifestyle, then they are going to be labeled by YOU and those who agree with you as "hate mongering", "intolerant", "gay-bashers", "right-wing scumbags" etc. simply because they do not consider it a lifestyle that they agree with and wish to affirm. That to me is as intolerant as any "gay-bashing" that you may attribute to those who oppose the gay-lifestyle. They are entitled to speak their opinions without fear of being threatened by homosexual activists. - alkajazz, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1"secular humanist indoctrination system" Are you still harping that?
- these3remain, on 03/20/2008, -3/+4I see you have the standard lack of vocabulary that is typical of those who are products of the secular humanist indoctrination system. Strengthen your argument rather than name-call.
- lydecker, on 03/20/2008, -5/+5There is not one homosexual lifestyle, and no, people don't hate people who personally disagree with the homosexual lifestyle (they're called heterosexual, they don't do it). It's one thing to personally not be engaged in homosexual activity, or not be homosexually oriented, or to not understand it... But it's entirely another thing to say all the lies and propaganda she said.
- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -4/+2What lies and propaganda?
- alkajazz, on 05/05/2008, -0/+2What is a "homosexual" lifestyle? Exactly like yours except they are attracted to people of the same sex?
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -4/+5Saying that it is a greater threat than terrorism is being hateful and clearly ignorant of reality. I was not implying that everyone who disagrees with it is hateful, you are the one that implied that.
- BECoole, on 03/20/2008, -5/+15What was inaccurate?
- BECoole, on 03/20/2008, -7/+21The Gay Mafia strikes again!
- letitbleed62, on 03/21/2008, -2/+2Damn those sneaky gays and their agenda.
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -14/+9Wait.... doesn't the christian agenda include threatening homosexuals?
- InRussetShadows, on 03/20/2008, -6/+14I detect a typical leftist mentality at work. When discussing an article, the first thing they do is refuse to discuss just the article, but expand the scope of discussion so that it includes whatever favorite talking points that they hammer home, and then they hammer on them. *rolls eyes* How sad.
- these3remain, on 03/20/2008, -5/+13"doesn't the christian agenda include threatening homosexuals?" No, it does not. I'm sure that homosexual activists want to spread that lie though - like yourself.
Christians don't have an "agenda" while homosexual activists do. You may not be aware of it because you are a product of the secular humanist indoctrination system that has supported the gay agenda for 20 years now. If you would like to know the rudiments of the gay agenda, it was first publicized by 2 homosexual activists by the names of Kirk & Madsen. They specifically outlined the methods to be used in order to break down resistance to the homosexual lifestyle in this country including the brain-washing techniques used in communist China. They include "jamming" and desensitization, among other methodologies. Perhaps you should research the history of the movement before posting ignorantly.- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -7/+4If this story and Kerns' remarks don't make it obvious there is a christian agenda then I really don't know how to convince you.
- Antarcticn, on 03/20/2008, -5/+4You don't have to convince. Just be totally gay/queer AND don't be a hypocrite. That means you can't reproduce. Naturally. You (plural) will go extinct. End of conflict.
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -3/+5Then why are there still homosexuals? If your theory is correct they all would have died a long time ago right?
- Antarcticn, on 03/20/2008, -5/+4You don't have to convince. Just be totally gay/queer AND don't be a hypocrite. That means you can't reproduce. Naturally. You (plural) will go extinct. End of conflict.
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -7/+4If this story and Kerns' remarks don't make it obvious there is a christian agenda then I really don't know how to convince you.
- KCLorelei39, on 03/20/2008, -7/+4If you consider being exposed to the truth about who you are a threat, then I suppose you could consider the Christian 'agenda' towards homosexuals a threat. Our agenda towards all, including homosexuals, is nothing more than telling the truth about who we are collectively - we as in all of humanity, not just 'us' Christians or 'them' sinners - why we're here, and where we all are ultimately headed. Pretty scarey and intimidating stuff, the truth.
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -4/+8You think an invisible man sits in the sky and watches everything you do. It is not truth, it is crazy talk.
- KCLorelei39, on 03/20/2008, -7/+3how would you know what I think? deflect by insults, that's standard operating procedure, isn't it?
- CryRightardCry, on 03/20/2008, -5/+4@KCLorelei
Well moron, because that is Christianity as practiced by the mindless and ignorant.
I couldn't help noticing you didn't refute his comment.
You DO believe there is a big invisible man in the sky watching over all mankind, right?
Oh, wait. That would include gays.
Huh.
So how DO you rationalize your bitter hatred and ignorance?
How do you justify to yourself not even TRYING to be a better person?
Well, I can tell you one thing for certain. You are no Christian, because we follow the teachings of Christ. As a matter of fact the point of Christianity is to TRY TO BE LIKE CHRIST.
Think about it sometime on your drive home from your megachurch.- KCLorelei39, on 03/20/2008, -3/+4let's see, that's about 10 insults for you, as I counted them.... again, standard operating procedure. let's see if we can get the unthinking masses to associate specific words with a specific group, the group being namely, those who don't think all things gay are wonderful.
words and phrases such as:
mindless
ignorant
bitter
hatred
ignorant (in case we missed it the first time)
attenders at a megachurch
and the catch all phrase- you're no Christian if you don't try to be like OUR VERSION of Christ, who made gays gay and loves them anyway. everybody gets a free pass because He died for our sins, isn't it wonderful?? /retch - Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -2/+2CRC, are you saying you are a Christian? If so, your *church* is lying to you, and believing that lie will cost you your soul. There is no free pass for homosexuals in Scripture. You have to twist and ditch Scripture altogether to make yourself believe that. I don't hate homosexuals at all, but I do regard the methods being used to force this immoral lifestyle on this nation to be thoroughly despicable.
- KCLorelei39, on 03/20/2008, -3/+4let's see, that's about 10 insults for you, as I counted them.... again, standard operating procedure. let's see if we can get the unthinking masses to associate specific words with a specific group, the group being namely, those who don't think all things gay are wonderful.
- CryRightardCry, on 03/20/2008, -3/+4It's amazing that you can slam God's children like this.
I guess YOU know better than God, eh?
Whew.
That is some mindblowing stupidity and hubris you know.
Talk about ego and arrogance!
So God makes these "mistakes" and you and the other ignorant false Christians attack them.
Truly astounding.
Well I'm glad you think you know better than God.
Hey, why don't they all worship YOU? WOuld you like that?
Since you obviously think you know better than God already taht only makes sense.
Do you see how ignorant and stupid and SMALL you are?
It's obvious from my angle.- KCLorelei39, on 03/20/2008, -3/+2oh wait, here's some more for that list of words we must associate with those who don't embrace all things gay:
mindblowing stupidity
hubris
ego
arrogance
ignorant (in case we missed the other 2 times)
false Christians
ignorant (in case we missed the other 3 times)
stupid (in case we missed it the first time)
SMALL
sadly, TRUTH seems to be lacking from your repertoire. - Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -3/+1God didn't make anyone homosexual. Another despicable lie told about a holy God. It's disgraceful.
- KCLorelei39, on 03/20/2008, -3/+2oh wait, here's some more for that list of words we must associate with those who don't embrace all things gay:
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -4/+8You think an invisible man sits in the sky and watches everything you do. It is not truth, it is crazy talk.
- CryRightardCry, on 03/20/2008, -4/+4Well, no.
But the intolerant bigoted assholes who pretend to be Christian do.
Real christians don't have a beef, they follow the teachings of Christ and accept people as God's children who are just as God made them.
The deluded losers who somehow think they know the mind of God so well they can identify gays as mistakes that need abuse are the very definition of sinners.
The sheer ignorance of the teachings of Christ probably means they aren't really Christian, but hey identify themselves as such.
You can't find example of Christians slamming gays?
Try World Net Daily.
The anti-gay pro-"christian" crap flows deep and swift.- KCLorelei39, on 03/20/2008, -3/+1and even more words for your list of forced associations to recreate society the way you wish:
intolerant
bigoted
***holes
deluded
losers
ignorant (in case we missed it the other 6 times)
anti-gay (redundant)
"christian"
crap
nice to see you've broadened your intimidation campaign a bit, it was getting tedious and repetitive - Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -3/+1Who is abusing homosexuals? Get out of your victim mode. To say that a lifestyle is immoral is NOT abuse. Again, God did not cause homosexuality. He did not make you that way. Christ does not condone homosexuality. You are believing a lie.
- jonthebishop, on 03/21/2008, -1/+3God created everything right? Wouldn't that include gay people?
- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -3/+1God created mankind with free will. People make choices. God does not force them to make those choices, nor did He wire people to be homosexual. This whole thing about homosexuals being born that way is unproven nonsense. Cite all the studies you wish, but there is nothing proven, and all the evidence people point to is understood subjectively by them to prove what they already wish to believe. I am under no obligation to interpret it the way they do. So go ahead, take up tons of space on Digg citing your studies, and all I will say in reply is "Unproven. Interpreted subjectively by people who wish to believe it."
- jonthebishop, on 03/21/2008, -1/+3God created everything right? Wouldn't that include gay people?
- KCLorelei39, on 03/20/2008, -3/+1and even more words for your list of forced associations to recreate society the way you wish:
- blessedwith6, on 03/20/2008, -11/+16Dugg and shouted.
No matter how vocal and vulgar the gay community becomes we must not allow them to silence the Truth. The homosexual lifestyle is a self-destructive one. If we love our brother, we don't sit idly by while they dance into hell and lead others there as well. Homosexual sex is a grave sin. By the grace of God they can overcome this temptation.- captric, on 03/20/2008, -10/+8Can you think for yourself or do you always have to quote a non - existent all knowing ghost? If you were writing this in Arabic you would fit right in with the Taliban agenda.
- ArnAthair, on 03/20/2008, -8/+6... says the self-destructive homosexual...
- lisaawesome, on 03/20/2008, -5/+7Self destructive my ass. Most homosexuals are well-educated professionals. I have never seen a homosexual couple with 20 kids living on welfare in section 8 housing with both parents working for 6 bucks an hour at WalMart which I do see constantly in homosexual christian couples. But damn them fags sure be ruinin our country!!! STFU Cletus.
- ArnAthair, on 03/20/2008, -7/+2... says the outraged and anger-filled, self-destructive homosexual...
- lisaawesome, on 03/20/2008, -2/+6Ummmm I'm not a homosexual. The only thing I am angry about is that someone can honestly think that homosexuals are out to get us. Unless drinking coffee and playing with cats is self destructive I don't think I qualify for that either.
- ArnAthair, on 03/20/2008, -3/+0Actually, I don't think that homosexuals are out to get anyone either. I just don't like the name Cletus. I have nothing against cats as well. It looks like we both got carried away by erroneous and outrageous stereotyping. : )
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -1/+5ArnAthair: You wouldn't want to actually respond to Lisa's comment would you? Replying with hateful language designed to ***** people off instead of giving an insightful reply. I can tell your beliefs are grounded in thought and logic. I see you and Kerns would be friends.
- ArnAthair, on 03/20/2008, -5/+1That's right, jon. I try to be pithy when confronted with intense anger and hatred. Christian-haters tend to fall straight into that category (no pun intended). : )
- captric, on 03/20/2008, -1/+3Well the only thing I hate worse than FAGS are illierate Christians who believe in ghosts and devils and try to push their beliefs on other people and then try to gain special recognition and political power.
- ArnAthair, on 03/20/2008, -4/+1You may want to spell illiterate correctly when mocking someone, captric. It demeans your message something terrible.
I don't hate "fags". I'm just like you. I don't want homosexuals pushing their personal beliefs onto others without their permission. Kerns was speaking to a group that more than likely agreed with her beliefs. She wasn't pushing her agenda onto anyone who didn't want to hear it. She was speaking truth to power to those that think similarly to herself. She had every right to do that. If the gays don't like her message, then they should stay out of the room when she talks. I don't see how she was forcing anything on anyone.- captric, on 03/21/2008, -1/+1I am speaking general terms as are the rest of the people responding to this post. You may think my message is demeaning because I did not spell check it and NO ONE types without error. I believe that pretty well demonstrates the level of your critical thinking skills. I DO have a Masters Degree and have even published papers. I DON'T need your your help or criticism, that you can be assured!
- ArnAthair, on 03/21/2008, -1/+0Wow. I'm impressed with your credentials, captric.
No... wait...
Nope, not impressed... but I did try to be impressed. Honestly. I think I came close there for sec on the Masters degree part, but I guess it wasn't enough for me. Please try again though. I really want to be impressed by how highly educated and superior you are to us. - captric, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1All it takes is a high school science education to be superior to you. YOU are the product of a long lineage of less sophisticated creature's. You are the product at the moment of 3.5 billion years of evolution, nothing more and nothing less. Evolution continues right before our eyes but people like you are unable to fathom the slow pace or recognize the signs. You are also a member of a subset of the world population that have in the past, do in the present, and will continue in the future to seek superiority and power over people who do not believe in your brand of ghost worship to the point that you will kill them in mass. Until God is sent to the ranks of Apollo and Zeus, there will never be Peace in the world.
- ArnAthair, on 03/24/2008, -0/+0Way to go, captric! You've touched on every stereotype there is and didn't even come close to nailing me or my ideology. It must be sad to be so misinformed and think so highly of your pseudo-intellectualism.
Evolution is fact and that jibes well with my Faith. I have no problem with it. I understand the enormous amounts of time that our universe has taken to distill life into what we see on our mud ball. I also have the religious belief that there is a universal Creator that designs all things and sets them into motion. Evolution and intelligent design are not mutually-exclusive ideas in my book. One is scientific and the latter is religious. They should be distinguished that way.
Religion in mankinds lifetime has not been the impetus for all wars. Yes, some misguided people throughout history have used religion to rationalize their personal agendas for mass killings. But, that distinction is not simply for religious folks. Heathens, barbarians, secularists, etc. have also been guilty of mass murder for their own personal agendas. Mankind itself is violent and stupid en masse. Religion becomes an excuse for mankind to fulfill their personal bloodlust. For instance, World War II, one of our contemporary wars, was fought for political, not religious beliefs. Lack of religion would not have stopped that war. I'm sure Hitler would have found another reason to holocaust millions even if they had not been Jews.
It sounds like you would gladly destroy all people of faith to attain your utopian vision of the world. In the name of Science, why would you do that? I appreciate different points of view. I think the world would be boring if everyone thought and acted the same way. Religion is a personal journey and we all can choose to make that journey or not. You choose not to and I choose to. I haven't always felt that way. Good luck on your journey, captric.
- CryRightardCry, on 03/20/2008, -4/+4WOW.
That was pathetic.
And you think YOU represent Christians?
What a piece of ***** you are!
You represent intolerance and bigotry, nothing more.
Do you really think that by being a hateful scumbag you are a "good person"?
Do you think God is ok with how you treat some of his children?
Or do you just think you know better than God?
That's where you false Christian morons fall apart.
Just WHAT is it you think you are doing when you abuse gays?- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -3/+2Telling you the truth, that the practice of homosexuality is immoral, is not ill treating anyone. You need to look up the word *abuse.* Nearly everything you say is verbally abusive.
- ArnAthair, on 03/21/2008, -2/+2I believe you are being intolerant and bigoted by calling people "pieces of *****" and "hateful scumbags". See how the knife cuts both ways? THAT was pathetic.
- captric, on 03/21/2008, -1/+2Absolutely brilliant response you "piece of ***** illiterate Christian moron"! You are going to be real disappointed when you find out there IS no place after death where you are going to go and live in the clouds where everyone is equal. These STORIES mostly come from Greek Mythology and the Ancient Fairy Tale - GILGAMESH. Written long before Christianity and Jesus. They simply stole these stories , convinced illiterate sheep herders that they are true, and the fact that 2000 years later people still believe these fairy tales is indescribably incredible to me.
- ArnAthair, on 03/21/2008, -2/+1Hehehe... why is it so easy to rile up the Christian-haters until they sound like they are frothing at the mouth? You're too easy, coptric.
BTW, unless you've died, seen what's beyond and come back, I don't think you KNOW what's waiting for us after death. I have FAITH that my beliefs are accurate and truthful. I'm not trying to convince anyone that my beliefs are the only ones worthy of note. You seem to have some unfounded idea that you are correct and everyone else is incorrect. That's very small-minded of you, coptric. The sad part is you don't even seem to understand how pathetic you sound.
Believe what you want. I don't care. I'll say hi to Zeus for you. Happy Easter!
- ArnAthair, on 03/20/2008, -8/+6... says the self-destructive homosexual...
- FunkyLlama, on 03/21/2008, -1/+2How about you shut up and sit in a corner, 'blessedwith6'.
Oh, and I notice you can't prove yourself right, can you?- ArnAthair, on 03/21/2008, -3/+1Nobody puts blessedwith6 in the corner.
Prove her wrong, funky. - FunkyLlama, on 03/25/2008, -0/+1I don't have to. Burden of proof and all that.
- ArnAthair, on 03/25/2008, -1/+0Burden of proof, huh? You realize this is a comment board, not a court room, correct? There is nothing to prove here. These are opinions. Of course, your opinion means jack squat to me so you have no burden here at all. Cheers!
- FunkyLlama, on 03/25/2008, -0/+1You just said 'prove her wrong', you tit. Also, have a cookie for your use of Neaveru's Digg Comment Statistics.
- ArnAthair, on 03/25/2008, -1/+0Burden of proof, huh? You realize this is a comment board, not a court room, correct? There is nothing to prove here. These are opinions. Of course, your opinion means jack squat to me so you have no burden here at all. Cheers!
- ArnAthair, on 03/21/2008, -3/+1Nobody puts blessedwith6 in the corner.
- captric, on 03/20/2008, -10/+8Can you think for yourself or do you always have to quote a non - existent all knowing ghost? If you were writing this in Arabic you would fit right in with the Taliban agenda.
- lisaawesome, on 03/20/2008, -4/+6So it is okay for Mrs. Kern to call homosexuals terrorists but we who disagree with her can't tell her in a similarly abrasive manner that she is promoting hate?
guarantee you that 99% of the e-mails she has received that decry her hateful message were nothing but civil because those of us with real compassion have more class than she displayed. If these e-mails were so threatening they need to be investigated why have I not heard anything about this investigation locally? If anything remotely interesting happened in relation to Mrs. Kern it would have been on the local news just like her infamous Youtube remarks were. This story is full of ***** and those of you who think there is some homosexual agenda trying to infiltrate our minds are full of *****. Even if there was an agenda no one would waste time promoting it here in the OK. I call shenanigans.- Antarcticn, on 03/20/2008, -5/+6"Promoting hate" . . .
How? By forewarning fellow humankind of the high-risk deadly consequences of gay perversion lifestyles???
Let's see if I understand. Live normal heterosexual lives as men and women have done for thousands of years and significantly reduce your chance of getting HIV and possibly AIDS.
On the other hand, live the homosexual lifestyle despite its statistics that sex partnerships are rarely monogamous, and play Russian roulette with HIV and AIDS.
Woo hoo! Only a dumbell with a bassakwards brain cell that works as inadequately as Homer Simpson's would taunt death with life-threatening "shenanigans". But, hey, if you seek a possible ticket to an early grave, you're on the right track.
Just don't force it on anyone's innocent children. That's what the debate is and the evil Kerns protests against.- lisaawesome, on 03/20/2008, -4/+4Man if it is about the children then why the ***** are we allowing them to read about a vengeful god who discourages us from having knowledge! I am not even going to the respond to the rest. I'm done with this article and you bigots. And why is everyone assuming I'm a homosexual?
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -2/+5Because anyone who supports homosexuals must be gay, obviously. Duh!
- jonthebishop, on 03/20/2008, -2/+4Ok, so clearly you don't like homosexuals. Why exactly do you care so much if they are dying of HIV/AIDS then?
- CryRightardCry, on 03/20/2008, -5/+5Wow, you are one seriously ignorant dumb *****.
I'm really astounded.
I thought I'd seen some ignorant crap on digg, but you are blowing my mind.
What are you, like 15?
I can't think of anything as ignorant and mindless as a teenage boy, that's why I ask.
You are beyond inhuman and uncompassionate. You are well into the "evil" category.- KCLorelei39, on 03/21/2008, -2/+1how many times can you use the word 'ignorant' in one post?
3 this time, are you trying to set a record or something?
more fodder for the disinformation and word association campaign:
dumb
(some kind of vulgarity)
mindless
inhuman
uncompassionate
evil
jam away, we're onto your tricks - Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -2/+2CRC, I insist you stop your ABUSE. It's ABUSE. You are highly ABUSIVE. You are blowing my mind with your ABUSE. Your inhuman, uncompassionate, evil, ignorant, dumb, astounding ABUSE is blowing my mind. Stop it now. It is HATE. And HATE is ABUSE.

- Antarcticn, on 03/20/2008, -6/+830,000 militants of the Cult of Queerdom launch viral attack against Christian Oklahoma state representative because she spoke cautions to fellow legislators about queerdom's brainwashing agenda to pervert the malleable minds of publik skool, single-digit aged children.
OK's state rep has NO Free Speech. Telling TRUTH is forbidden by unjust "Hate Speech" and "Hate Crime" so-called "laws". Free Speech for all . . . but more Free Speech for some. And if you warn humankind about dangers of the Queerdom Cult, then NO Free Speech for you!!!
This will get Dugg down by intolerant militant Queerdom cultists who lyingly say they're "tolerant" [Yeah, right! So long as spineless, brain-dead, mindless masses champion queerdom.] , but why is it people who don't share and/or champion perverse views must be silenced? Meanwhile, cultists queers can spout off and brainwash anywhere, anytime, and on all mush minds they can round-up as captive audiences?- lisaawesome, on 03/20/2008, -3/+5There you are Cletus!

- lydecker, on 03/20/2008, -4/+4Yeah, she has no free speech, that's why she's in prison! Wait, huh?
Look, I don't approve of death threats, but maybe people should take this as a hint that her statements were entirely false and inaccurate. And "The Cult of Queerdom" is now the majority of Americans who realize that homosexuality deserves equal rights and doesn't deserve false and accusatory comments like Kern did.- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -2/+2No, the majority of Americans do not agree with homosexuality.
What was false and inaccurate about her statements?- jonthebishop, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2The part where she says homosexuals are a greater threat than terrorism? Did you somehow miss that part?
- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -2/+2No, the majority of Americans do not agree with homosexuality.
- Midtowner, on 03/21/2008, -2/+2She's just as free to say what she wants as anyone else. Freedom, however, comes with consequences. In this case, the consequence of her exercising her first amendment right is that people responded, loudly, uncomfortably, etc.
If she had said that homosexuality is unchristian, etc., I don't think anyone would be all that upset. Most of us are pretty aware of how Christianity as a whole dislikes homosexuality.
The trouble here is that she compared homosexuality to terrorism claiming that the former is more dangerous -- not to mention the fact that she thinks "Islam" is a threat.
- KCLorelei39, on 03/20/2008, -5/+4"After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90's " by Marshall Kirk & Hunter Madsen
From Publishers Weekly Book Review:
To overcome Americans' deep-rooted aversion to gay men and women, psychologist Kirk and ad man Madsen propose a massive media campaign designed to correct stereotypes and neutralize anti-gay prejudice. PW termed this "a punchy call to arms, Madison Avenue style."
Amazon.com lists 67 other books that cite this book, look it up. The movement to promote homosexuality didn't simply materialize from nothing; it was not spontaneous, it was planned, and the plans have been executed repeatedly, throughout our nation and others. I know it's shocking to consider that there is something with which we are not familiar... but there is some basis in the growth of the GLBT movement that corresponds to the words in this book. There is an organized movement to promote acceptance of this lifestyle.
Rep Kern's remarks and concerns are quite valid; the outpouring of antagonism towards her shows just how very effective this marketing campaign to gain not equality, but preeminence for the GLBT movement, has become.
watch closely how this post is responded to; I will be vilified, patronized, called 'uneducated and "ignorant", "bigoted", "Christian fundamentalist", plus assorted vulgarities. Few will take the time to verify what I've said, sadly enough; it's hard to accept being duped by those we are supposed to be able to respect and trust. Took me awhile to process the truth of the matter, once, too.

If I'm not mistaken, the outpouring of antagonism would have been pretty much the same if Sally Kern were to start promoting homosexual behavior. Or if she claimed that it was Evangelicals who were worse than terrorists. There would have been plenty of death threats. My friend, you aren't uneducated or ignorant or bigoted any more than I am. I could never hate you, because you don't hate me. You reject an image, a caricature that's been created, a mass of worst-case examples and extremes that even I would cringe at. You could lump me in with those extremes, and I could write you off as a Fred Phelps fan, or we could come to the conclusion that there are a LOT of people making a LOT of money off our differences, and they just happen (by pure coincidence) to be the ones reminding us of them.
If there is a God, and if you have faith in Him, you ought to be sure that He'll have the last word.- KCLorelei39, on 03/21/2008, -3/+2"we could come to the conclusion that there are a LOT of people making a LOT of money off our differences, and they just happen (by pure coincidence) to be the ones reminding us of them."
yup, I agree; there are untold 'non-profits' on both sides of many issues, making obscene profits by promoting these differences, along with any number of educational institutions.
And I know that God will have the last word. I'm painfully aware that the vast majority of folks will continue to ignore Him, as history bears witness to, and go their own way.

- lisaawesome, on 03/20/2008, -1/+7Here's an actual story about the investigation going on. She has received only a few threatening e-mails out of thousands (but not 30,000). To associate all of those who e-mailed her or oppose her views with those making threats is ridiculous.

Also, this is what our christian state governor said about the comments:
"I don't think it represents Oklahoma," Henry said. He said his religious beliefs teach him to be tolerant of diverse lifestyles and viewpoints. “Think before you speak," the governor said. "Oklahomans have love and tolerance for all people."- Nannybell, on 03/21/2008, -2/+2He's a politician. He says that to protect his own hide.
- alkajazz, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1God forbid we can't all live together in peace, right?
- Lutrasimilis, on 03/21/2008, -2/+1Sometimes, bigots just happen to agree with some of the things written in the bible. They're not actually Christians, they just need validation for their clueless hostility. Most of these charlatans can't even name half of the Ten Commandments, and obey even fewer. Nobody is ever going to take this fad-based scapegoating seriously until the believers actually start reading their own guide book. Biblical illiteracy is overwhelming, and gleefully taken advantage of.
Now bury me as fast as you can. It's easier than trying to debate.- KCLorelei39, on 03/21/2008, -1/+2aw, you tossed out insults, after all. see how thoroughly you've been convinced of a particular position? who profits over the acceptance of homosexuality by the culture? think about it.
what do you wish to debate? the psychological marketing campaign we've been subjected to for the last 20 years in a once-Christian nation, in an attempt to force acceptance of something God says is abomination? or your attempt to deflect the words of the Congresswoman by counterattacking Christians?

- yellowcakewalk, on 03/21/2008, -1/+4I'm sure Jeff Gannon has his panties in a wad about this. Whatever became of the official White House gay male prostitute anyway?
- FunkyLlama, on 03/21/2008, -1/+7I hardly think that the actions of a few constitute an 'agenda'. If I go out and steal a car, is there a violent heterosexual agenda?
- ThoughtfulWi, on 03/21/2008, -2/+8Does anyone know what the divorce rate is among heterosexuals? I hear it is as high as 50%; and saw one statistic indicating that the rate among Christians is just as high. Now, everything I see or hear concerning divorce would indicate that it traumatizes the children involved. Yet these supposed Christians insist on portraying gays and lesbians, and their supposed "agenda," as the greatest threat posed to our children. What B.S. And what hypocrisy.
- blessedwith6, on 03/22/2008, -5/+2I don't remember anyone promoting divorce as good for society or denying the fact that divorce causes pain and harm to the family and the children involved. Divorce is tragic. So is the adoption of children by homosexuals who want to play house and raise these innocent children to believe a gravely sinful lifestyle is good.
- nblsavage, on 03/24/2008, -3/+5So, I'm guessing blessedwith6 is in reference to the number of active brain cells you have.

- ramiro, on 04/16/2008, -2/+1BEWARE OF THE GAY AGENDA
Not between humans and animals, not between humans of the same sex. Marriage is between man and woman and it should be protected because it leads to procreation. Family is the base of society and it should be protected.
This is no Saudi Arabia. Gays in the West are free to cohabit and to copulate without being persecuted. These militant gays should be preaching gay acceptance in the Middle East rather than mess with the marriage in the West.
Now, militant gays do not want to mind their own business either, they want to force on everyone their redefinition of what a marriage is.
Militant gays want privileged status, they are not satisfied with the equal treatment that they already had with the existing laws.
Gays want to submit everyone else to their notion of marriage, destroying the age old notion of the union between man and woman that leads to procreation and that has been the base of every prosperous society. They even want to teach school children that their sexual behavior is fine and recommendable.
They want to criminalize every little offense as if we lived in a monarchy and they were nobles and straights were plebeians. They want privileges and to submit everyone else under them in a hierarchy where any minor offense against gays (such as any preference for straight people) will lead to harsher punishments than actual crimes committed against everyone else.
They want laws such as if anyone kills a man, the penalty would be more severe if he was gay. They want laws that would criminalize straight preferences, overriding even the religion one professes.
Example: a photographer has been prosecuted for refusing to photograph a gay union ceremony in accordance with his religion.
Militant gays want to impose their own version of Sharia law, criminalizing any Christian choices and giving everyone else an inferior status under the law.
Men need the restraint of marriage. The traditional Marriage, among other things, shields women and children from exploitation and solidifies the union between fathers and mothers and between parents and their children.
There is no stable environment in same sex unions. Gays do not value chastity or "waiting until marriage". The majority of gay unions will be polygamous due to the notorious gay male promiscuity.
The only result of same sex unions will be to marginalize the real marriage and destroy its positive impact on our culture.
Just watch what has been happening in Europe. They abandoned religion and the traditional marriage. Now they are delivering themselves to the mercy of the Muslim immigrants who are not so tolerant of the liberties that gays have been taking for granted on the West.
Gay is not a race and not a color of skin. Laws segregating gays never existed. A gay person has never been sent to the back of the bus for being gay. Gays have plenty of employers willing to give them a job. The more showy gays even dominate the media and entertainment. The others just have to follow a reasonable dress code and standards of behavior that everybody else accepts without objection. So don't even try to compare gays with black people.
Gays have always occupied posts of prominence in society. Even the Leftist movements considered them petty bourgeois, the despicable members of the enemy class, before they decided that the Judeo-Christian morality was an obstacle to be destroyed and started pretending to adopt gays as "sex-oppressed" victims, manipulating them to attack the traditional values.
Gays are just being used as cannon fodder by the Leftist movements (who will later discard them) trying to destroy the Judeo-Christian traditions. That is the only aspect by which gays can be considered victims.
There is no gay suffering that straight people don't suffer as well in one form or another. Any offenses against gays have already been covered by existing laws and they don't need privileged status.
No civil right is being denied to gays. Two people of the same sex can already live together and do whatever they want in their privacy.
There is no marriage between 2 people of same sex just like there is no marriage between:
- a man and a 1-year old baby
- a lady and her pet
- 2 soccer teams
- a lady and her brothers
- a man and his inflatable doll
All these things are not marriages so they don't deserve the protection of the law (such combinations are even be discouraged or forbidden). - ramiro, on 04/16/2008, -2/+1The real objective of the militant gays is to create and environment where they can attack religion better.
They want to impose legislation that will allow them, for example, to go to a religious service and attack it with indecent behavior. If they end up expelled from a church by its outraged members, they will then claim that their "civil rights" were violated and then throw the law against the believers and put them in jail or impose heavy penalties. That is one way they will persecute Christians.
Once the concept of marriage is corrupted to allow same sex "marriages", they will go after priests and pastors demanding that they participate in their gay union ceremony.
If they refuse, they can send the priest/pastor to jail under the new "anti-discriminatory" laws.
