Holt election reform bill revised by Microsoft, Diebold

opednews.com — Congressman Rush Holt's 'election reform' bill HR 811, which may be voted on before July 13, 2007, was fundamentally rewritten by Microsoft, Diebold and other corporations to protect their "proprietary" interest in the software. According to Holt's lawyer, "they lobbied very heavily" and "thus won. It's very simple, really."
