- fajitamelt, on 05/10/2008, -7/+65Why the ***** are these ***** Hillary articles still popular? They all say the same thing! Sorry, but I don't need to see it twenty-seven times for it to sink in.
But it's not just that. Who the hell thinks these, and other articles, are more important than the top news story this week, the cyclone in Myanmar, or Burma? Human lives were lost in the tens of thousands; hundreds of thousands are homeless. I haven't seen one article about this event on Digg all week.
You ashame me, people. This should have thrown everything, especially the Hillary/Obama crap, and the "Women who like porn" *****, to the side. - aussiejan, on 05/10/2008, -6/+34This bulldog-like drive of Clinton has gone from stubborn to irrational to insane. I think it will take a silver bullet.
- rentmitchum, on 05/10/2008, -17/+44Hickory dickory dock, Clinton can suck my *****.
- stellarceltic, on 05/10/2008, -5/+32Hickory dickory dock, what does his race have to do with it you ignorant prick?
- jkbowman, on 05/10/2008, -3/+19At this point could she be drawing this out simply to extract money from hopeful supporters. She does have a lot of debt to pay (mainly to herself), and I can't find the logic from any other angle. Of course, there's always insane ego, but I'm trying not to go there. - It's getting difficult.
- akula89, on 05/10/2008, -1/+17how many "Clinton is done" articles does Huffington Post have to put out?
- Malacandra95, on 05/10/2008, -4/+18This is funny. The GOP is coming off more than 7 years of propping up a guy who couldn't string three words together to form a coherent sentence, and you're accusing Barack Obama, who taught Constitutional Law, of not knowing about his own policies?
If you had any integrity at all, after supporting the Bush administration you'd be too ashamed to try to make arguments on the basis of competency. With all their years of experience, the members of his administration made blunder after blunder, puffed up by a grandiose sense of their own infallibility, and blinded by an ideology untethered from the inconvenient ravages of facts.
What could Barack Obama possibly do that could equal Bush's level of ineptitude? He destroyed our international credibility, eviscerated our civil liberties and the rule of law, ravaged the middle class, depleted our workforce, accumulated unprecedented amounts of debt, and lost an entire American city to mismanagement.
The founder of your party, Abraham Lincoln, had less legislative experience going into the White House than Barack Obama does today. - Malacandra95, on 05/10/2008, -0/+13I, for one, welcome our new Obama overlords.
- DannyDriffs, on 08/25/2008, -14/+25Barack Obama will be the Democratic Nominee. And he will be the next President of the United States of America. If you haven't warmed to the Barack-mania yet, get used to it. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. EXPECT US.
- theaceoffire, on 05/10/2008, -4/+13If your insane then more McCain?
- jboettcher, on 05/10/2008, -0/+9Thank you. 100,000 people dead and thousands more at risk is no small event - that's a significant portion of the world's population.. gone.. and hardly anybody is squawking! C'mon people!
- AndrewDB, on 05/10/2008, -1/+10As many as it takes to get her to quit.
- StarlessKnight, on 05/10/2008, -0/+9On behalf of DIGGers everywhere we welcome Anonymous' support for Obama, but could you tone down some of the potentially frightening rhetoric? /jk
- orca94, on 05/10/2008, -3/+11Good job posting the same retarded comment twice.
- HenvY, on 05/10/2008, -1/+9She will drop out after WV, or on May 20th. This will allow her to go out on a 'victory', and give her a chance to make some money to retire her campiagn and minimise her personal losses.
- stellarceltic, on 05/10/2008, -1/+9"This afternoon, AP's tally showed Obama within half a superdelegate of Clinton."
What the *****? Can we please get rid of this stupid system? - Ubergoober3, on 05/10/2008, -0/+6Yeah, the density of these articles is getting quite annoying. Just stop digging them, we all know Obama's gonna win.
- SemiSarcastic, on 05/10/2008, -1/+7That statement really creep me out. I don't want to become an Obama zombie.
- Shady77, on 05/10/2008, -0/+6Your point is well taken, but for the record there have been at least a few articles:
http://digg.com/search?section=all&s=cyclone
Waaaaayy too many articles on Hillary, though, I agree completely. They probably push the cyclone articles off the front page before many people see them. - NyteStarNyne, on 05/10/2008, -19/+25To Bring the PAIN! Vote McCain.
- rentmitchum, on 05/10/2008, -0/+6Ninja, ninja /rap/
No.. no let's not do that. - goonerzilla, on 05/10/2008, -1/+6Hillary clinton FTL
Obama FTW
***** the RIAA - headzoo, on 05/10/2008, -1/+6"are more important than the top news story this week, the cyclone in Myanmar, or Burma? Human lives were lost in the tens of thousands"
I'm not trying to be a dick here, but Digg is a special interest website, and it caters to a particular type of story. Chastising Digg for following the election instead of the Myanmar story, is like chastising ign.com for covering GTA4 instead of Tibet.
I am reading about the Myanmar story on sites like nytimes.com, wsj.com, and bbc.co.uk. That's what those sites are for. I come to Digg for a different type of story: tech, politics, generally silly stuff, etc. - ADVIZR, on 05/10/2008, -3/+8I'm glad that neocon racists are quickly becoming extinct. Have a good time at McBush camp.
- Amnesia10, on 05/10/2008, -0/+5The thing that ruined Hillary for me was she pulled the race card. That makes her a racist and that destroys her credibility.
- ubuwalker31, on 05/10/2008, -3/+7GOPOperative should change his username to "*****'
- Gabberwok, on 05/10/2008, -0/+5Would we need to bring Vanilla Ice back from retirement/cryofreezing?
- jamesallen74, on 05/10/2008, -0/+5Not counting Michigan or Florida, if Clinton wins 64%-to-36% the remaining races and 64-to-36 of the superdelegates, she STILL loses. :)
- Lazydriver, on 05/10/2008, -2/+5Age isn't a factor to me, it's McCain selling his ass out.
Besides, age is kind-of a factor considering older people tend to be more likely to be senile/drop dead while in office. Color doesn't matter, cause there's no side effect other then ignorant-ass pasty crackers like yourself whining about black people being powerful. Boo-*****-hoo. - mediaspree, on 05/10/2008, -1/+5hmmm, i laughed but i really want to digg you down. way to get a nuetral vote from me.
- Kanaka, on 05/10/2008, -0/+4Sigh...im starting to get bored of this obama will win hilary will lose submissions. I get it already.
Its starting to make politics even more boring...which i didn't think was possible - junkwheel, on 05/10/2008, -2/+5Educate yourself.
- cuntmate99, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3quit the slander
- johnsonjoeb, on 05/10/2008, -1/+4McCain is a ***** tool hiding behind his military service to show his "loyalty" when his true colors have already been shown. What kind of "patriot" votes AGAINST increasing the GI Bill for troops to educate themselves and go to college because it's too "expensive" then turns around and endorses straying in Iraq for a hundred years (which I'm sure is way cheaper.) Truth is it's not cheaper. It's just harder to keep military support behind a war when your cannon fodder is educated and looking for better job opportunities elsewhere. Wake up GOPOp you're done. Let the Dems take a shot fixing the mess you and your Neoconmen made. I want my country back. BTW, tell your jackass junkie spokesman Rush that manipulating the vote isn't a tactic, it's ***** on Democracy. Millions of people didn't die and our soldiers don't risk their lives every day so conservative shock jackasses like him can tamper with loopholes in the system. It's not a perfect process of course but just because you CAN do something doesn't make it right..or in this case Right Wing. Restore some class to your hypocritical bible thumping race baiting homophobic elitist party. Please.
- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -1/+4Let's hope the Obama and McCain campaigns stick to issues, as promised, and we can have a policy-based election. The attack ads against McCain have already started in Calif., but those are not from the O campaign. Let's see what he says about them, and what McCain will say about the inevitable attack ads from the right (he already spoke out against one set).
Let's also see if the Digg nation can grapple with policy, rather than blindly cheer for their candidate. The preponderance of Huffpost articles that make it to the front page suggest "no." - mimigins, on 05/10/2008, -0/+4Right or not, did you have to say it twice?
- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -1/+4You want her to run as a independent because then it makes sure the republicans win. Douche bag.
- Franswahili, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3Despite the scientific evidence, you should look at the obvious evidence. Why could Bush not testify without the aide of Cheney if his hands were completely clean? Why were we, the public, not allowed to hear or read one word of their testimony? World Trade Center developer and leaseholder Larry Silverstein had a multi billion-dollar insurance policy taken out on the trade center buildings only months before the 9-11 massacres. This is evidence I have yet to see debunked, and to me it is also the most damning evidence.
Don't call people moonbats, none of us know what really happened so we could all look really stupid in the end by throwing insults around. - Lazydriver, on 05/10/2008, -1/+4Sir, I will find a Burma article and Digg it, you're completely right and I thank you for that informative comment.
- apetrie, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3I'm sure every woman you've ever met, you've known well enough to say whether they are capable of introspection and rationality. Heres a clue: Female behaviour seems irrational to many men, and male behavour seems equally irrational to many women. The truth is, truly rational people who do not let emotion or bias colour their opinions and actions are few and far between in either sex.
- anbudom, on 05/10/2008, -1/+3To think she'll win this nomination is beyond belief and whatever will-power that keeps this woman going, I really don't know.
- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -3/+12Loon. /ignore
- loganhid, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3If you want a Bitch Vote Hilary
- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -0/+2Yes, she is a neocon, just as corrupt as the rest.
I have said she is a neocon many times before. - Darksoul, on 05/10/2008, -1/+4Can you take off that American flag on your icon it makes me sick to see that on uneducated piece of trash like you.
- junkwheel, on 05/10/2008, -0/+2CNN has an article "What will West Virginia mean"
