- mgxplyr, on 03/23/2008, -7/+25Wow, that's quite an amazing lie. I am from Tuzla and I remember seeing that exact footage on Bosnian TV. Obama is a huge favorite among the Bosnian crowd living in America, and from the opinions I've heard, it is mostly because he has Muslim ties and he can fix the distorted and discriminative image Muslims are given in the country today. Therefore, this video should only strengthen those views and hopefully mainstream media can pick up on this. Some horrible things have happened in Bosnia, and I don't think it's right that she is using my country and the events that have occurred to gain pity and compassion from voters.

1. Liars try to add as much detail as possible, as it makes the lie more believable.
2. Hillary going into detail regarding the capabilities of the C-17 and C-130 aircraft (she does this in some of the other YouTube videos of this same press conference) is meant as a public show of her "vast" military knowledge and qualifications for Commander In Chief.

- Stoical, on 03/23/2008, -0/+7I dont quite know how you can miss the plane in the shot at 0:52 and 1:10. Sure you dont see the entire profile of the aircraft, but it is quite obviously an airplane and at 1:10 looks just like the rear end of a C-17. She certainly doesnt appear to be running for cover. Combine this with first hand accounts from the washington post reporter who was there as well as several others, i would say it was quite obvious she wasnt telling the truth.
What worries me is that it's the media that dictates what impact this has on the candidate. If the media want to drag out the democratic race to increase ratings/revenue then they will simply gloss over this as they know a lie like this could kill CLintons campaign. -
