- jerrym123, on 05/12/2008, -16/+325Unfortunately most Hillary supporters are too stupid to understand that she twist and lies to suit whatever suits her needs at any particular moment.
- LKnight, on 05/12/2008, -6/+154She accepted them before she rejected them.
- peaches017, on 05/12/2008, -6/+114I simply will not vote for Hillary Clinton. It's basically over anyways.
- dinot, on 05/12/2008, -8/+80I don't think they're stupid. Being stupid would have mean that they're incapable of comprehending what's going on around them. I think they're perfectly aware that their chosen candidate sucks, but have put so much emotional investment into this election that they absolutely refuse to let anything taint that ill-informed decision, even if it means putting this self-serving, pandering pant-suit in the WH and sending this country to the *****.
Selfishness, ego, and a sense of entitlement, yes. Stupid, no. - dinobot, on 05/12/2008, -4/+72I posted a different link to this video about a month and a half ago and I am glad someone posts this again - It is necessary for people to realize what kind of person Hillary really is. If the MSM was up to me, I'd replay this every time the Clinton supporters go around talking about MI & FL and how they *matter* now because it could have changed momentum for their campaign.
It is obvious for many people the kind of people the Clintons are, they are happy with the rules as long as it benefits 'em - once that's not the case they will complain about those rules (MI & FL) or how someone else's rules would favor 'em if they were using the same metrics (The Winner Takes All system in the Republican Primaries). Guess what? You are a democrat registered under the DNC, so you play by the DNC rules, if you like the Republican rules better, well... you're more than welcome to switch parties, you already act like one anyways. - dinobot, on 05/12/2008, -1/+61She signed 'em as she was under threat of sniper fire.
- happyseamonster, on 05/12/2008, -4/+60The Clinton's are not interested in facts, truth, honesty, etc. ESPECIALLY if those pesky principles get in the way of their power grabs.
- egoherodotus, on 05/12/2008, -4/+52Changing the rules you yourself agree to in the middle of a game just because you are losing is unethical and unfair. I thought everyone over the age of 6 understood this concept.
- kipmartin, on 05/12/2008, -2/+40no, MI and FL were given the options and they decided to disenfranchise themselves. they knew what would happen BEFORE they went ahead with early primaries.
- doctechnical, on 05/12/2008, -0/+34I'd love to see this come up in a debate: "Senator Clinton, given that you signed and pledged to uphold the DNC rules and then discarded them when they became inconvenient, what other promises and agreements can we expect you to renege on if you're elected?"
- quackmo, on 05/12/2008, -5/+36Hillary reminds me of those old Japanese soldiers on Okinawa.
Twenty years from now, we'll find her still campaigning in some cave. - evilcaptain, on 05/12/2008, -4/+38“The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.”
- ostracize, on 05/12/2008, -3/+36"she twist and lies to suit whatever suits her needs at any particular moment."
So she's a politician then? - arbouler, on 05/12/2008, -3/+25"i have no ethical standards!"
- mparker7410, on 05/12/2008, -5/+29Hillary Clinton is a self-serving and deceptive biotch.
- kipmartin, on 05/12/2008, -1/+23wasnt Bill a Rhodes Scholar? ooooHHH!!!! I get it now!!!
- lifeinchains, on 05/12/2008, -4/+26The hypocrisy of her campaign is never-ending.
- thatsoccerkid, on 05/12/2008, -10/+31it does't matter now, let her be in her hypocrisy
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -0/+16The caps lock key is located right above the shift and below the tab.
- aspec, on 05/12/2008, -4/+20I chuckled, but then I was like "hey!", then I remembered I'm not Republican, so I chuckled again.
- yacks, on 05/12/2008, -2/+16I never seriously considered her.. I saw her glaring true colors when she carpetbagged it to NY to become senator.
- Lephtovermeet, on 05/12/2008, -5/+17This isn't news in the sense that it isn't new and it isn't secret.
But I'll digg it. - Hercules, on 05/12/2008, -9/+23There's a reason why educated voters don't vote for Hillary -- because they aren't that stupid to buy her crap.
Let the morons vote for her, and they will only reap what they sow. Oddly enough, that was the same logic they used with George W., and look how well that turned out.
We get what we deserve in politics, usually. GWB, McCain, Hillary, and even Obama will be what we brought upon ourselves. Even Obama isn't a great candidate, considering the other talent we have out there, that will NEVER run because of the BS we have in our political system, or they won't win because they won't stoop to the levels of others.
Jesse Ventura write in, anybody? - KingPsyz, on 05/13/2008, -2/+13Umm Clinton supporters aren't a race or creed of people... just severely misguided and immune to evidence and facts.
- verge, on 05/12/2008, -3/+14You underestimate the power of apathy, the lazy media, and people's busy lives. Sure, many did know, but some did not. Hillary's demographic, for whatever reasons, could use continued ongoing reality-testing - consistently and frequently.
- consoneo, on 05/12/2008, -3/+14Aren't those part of being stupid? Not having the cognitive capabilities to see past their own mental barriers?
- Cattywampus, on 05/12/2008, -1/+11That YouTube clip quotes Howard Dean's letter as saying that any state that moved up their primary would lose "100%" of their delegates.
- forgiste, on 05/12/2008, -3/+12Hillary was the best they could get, until Obama came along.
- RebeL5K, on 05/12/2008, -1/+12No, the rules called for stripping ALL the delegates - if you watched the video you would see the rules quotes to having"100% of all pledged and unpledged delegates".
And you are correct, the legislature IS Republican, as is the governorship. Unfortunately that's not an excuse because Democrats were still almost unanimous in voting in favor of moving up the primaries. They can't play victim this time. - jstohler, on 05/12/2008, -2/+13So, that should end the discussion, right?
Right? - EvolutionTheory, on 05/12/2008, -3/+13I can't believe anyone seriously considers seating them or actually pays attention to Billary when they suggest this.
If I agree to the rules of a competition and those rules end up hurting me I can not say "But those rules weren't fair!".
How is this not absurdly laughable by anyone other than our 2 year old children? - NonLeftistDiggr, on 05/12/2008, -2/+11This type of behavior is well established.
- WNW3, on 05/12/2008, -1/+10I thought he just rode scholars?
- sleepless, on 05/12/2008, -3/+12Clinton supporter or Obama supporter - the rule is: if you jump at the starting gate, you get disqualified. The rule clearly states that and EVERYONE signed an agreement to it. If you false start, you are DQed. Michigan and Florida false started, and unfortunately, yes, they are DQed.
- snotrokit, on 05/12/2008, -2/+10damned good points. Dugg.
- plhearn, on 05/12/2008, -0/+10Yes, everyone who supports Barack is very smart and everyone who supports Hillary is insanely stupid. And there is nothing wrong with making gross generalizations about large groups of people.
- yacks, on 05/12/2008, -1/+11and also.. not to mention NY who let this carpetbagger have power in the first place. ;)
- consoneo, on 05/12/2008, -1/+8Where are your links to the facts? I need them before I can digg you up.
- snotrokit, on 05/12/2008, -5/+12dugg, but it isn't news. I think the general populous understands that the HRC campaign is only using the FL and MI delegates as it benefits them. If it were the other way around she would be denouncing them with fire in her eyes.
- Asrrin29, on 05/12/2008, -0/+7because I want a president that follows the laws of the land, not make them up as he or she goes along, like Bush has been doing these past 8 years. I am a Michigan democratic voter and I am PISSED that they are seating us. We broke the rules, everyone knew it, we knew, they knew, the candidates knew it. Obama DOES want to see Florida and Michigan not miss their chance to vote, but he can't just hand out money and say "do a re vote." it is up to the state democrats to do that, and NO ONE is willing to foot the bill. that would be the only way, under the letter of the law, that Michigan and Florida should have their votes counted.
- happyseamonster, on 05/12/2008, -1/+8...oh, wait...
- exomni, on 05/12/2008, -3/+11Wow. That second guy is an *****. He pretty much just said point blank that they have no ethical standards besides doing whatever is best for the campaign no matter what.
- lostarchitect, on 05/12/2008, -1/+7it's more like being impaired.
- ProjectGSX, on 05/12/2008, -3/+10Her supporter summed it up at the end of the video - She is taking whatever stance that serves her best at the time.
- onedobb, on 05/12/2008, -1/+7FLA, They've screwed up 2 elections.
- corneliusJones, on 05/12/2008, -0/+8Yeah I can't vote for her either. She is so full of *****, even for a politician. It's sickening. Plus there is no way I could take 4 years of listening to her. *shudder*
If she is the nominee (which she won't be) I would write in Ron Paul. - themonkman, on 05/12/2008, -0/+6I agree with the statement, but have to bury it for using "Osama". The "B" and the "S" are hardly close enough on the keyboard to be considered a mistaken typo. You pulled an Ashcroft.
- KingPsyz, on 05/13/2008, -1/+6hey now I'm bitter, fat, and ugly but I still want Obama as president.
- DephexTwin, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5= what Hillary will say once she is done defecating on and ***** the mutilated carcass of the Democratic party?
