- inactive, on 01/05/2008, -73/+323A became afraid. Very afraid, when I saw Albright, Bill, Clinton and all the phony libtards with scowls on their faces standing behind Hillary as she droned on in Iowa. I thought to myself, can America stand four or even eight more years of the Clinton cronies and hangers-on, and the white trash called Clintons in the White House?
The Clinton machine is all about power, not America it her people. I'm ready for change. I'm ready for both the Bush family and the Clinton family to leave politics and to leave Washington D.C. - GhostyBoy, on 01/05/2008, -27/+229Booooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Hillary you suck!
Come on America join in, it's fun! - LLamaStar, on 01/05/2008, -28/+185I think obama is going to win this entire thing in a landslide victory in 2008.
- Biggzipp, on 01/05/2008, -37/+155hillary = bush 2.0
- nicholai, on 01/05/2008, -14/+120Hillary deserves to lose.
- scrappyvintage, on 01/05/2008, -4/+88rudy = bush 2.1
- u2wedge, on 01/05/2008, -7/+83Another highlight of the night was when Hillary rhetorically asked who would be the person best suited to be president on 'day one' and an Obama chant broke out. Sounds like Obama's got a killer strategy as the tickets for this event were sold out weeks ago yet 80% or more of the people at the event were Obama supporters. Nothing like really scaring the hell out of Hillary with a one two punch like winning Iowa and then BOOM owning her at a dinner the next night. This is just too fun to watch. Also a new story of Obama's tonight was him telling of his mother on her death bed trying to read through health insurance papers... keep an ear out for that one.

- hiphoc, on 01/05/2008, -11/+75hillary = Bush with a penis
- rhabd0mancer, on 01/05/2008, -13/+77Thankfully Barack Obama is doing well.
Gobama! Gobama! - baalzebub, on 01/05/2008, -8/+66between Huckabee ad Obama i would rather see Obama get in the whitehouse, if you think Bush is bad now just wait til Huckabee gets in there, hes a real redneck psycho christian nutcase...
- RunawayElf, on 01/05/2008, -6/+63While I'm not a fan of Obama, I feel this prediction is probably accurate. While a Paul supporter (not a ronbot though), and given the chance I'll vote for Paul, I feel Obama is the most likely lesser of whatever evil's we have to choose from.
- cadmiumpaint, on 01/05/2008, -2/+53Alot of people only support Hillary because of Bill...as if they hope its getting him back as "secret" president. I think people are starting to loose that illusion.
- Marijuana, on 01/05/2008, -3/+50Dr. Dre & Ice Cube = NWA
- evi1, on 01/05/2008, -2/+47Rudy = Bush without a penis
- an0nymous, on 01/05/2008, -1/+43Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!...
Wait, I am doing it wrong. - inactive, on 01/05/2008, -15/+56I hope there is video of that speech in Milford - oddly enough, when that bitch can't manipulate / control things there is usually some booing.
- smacksaw, on 01/05/2008, -10/+48How can she be for change when she wants to prolong the war in Iraq? The Democrats were elected to get us out of Iraq, not to lie to us about it. She is one of the liars and now she is seeing that the will of the people matters and the Democrats can't just make empty promises to get elected. They actually have to do what they promised. Her saying she is for change is just insulting, especially to her constituency.
- Bagos1, on 01/05/2008, -7/+43I'll vote for that!
- nem0, on 01/05/2008, -14/+49Yeah, that white-trash Clinton Whitehouse with cronies and hanger's on really destroyed America,. Except for that bit about eliminating the deficit and leaving the next administration with a surplus. And the greatest economic growth the contry has seen in more than 20 years. And prosecuting those responsible for the World Trade Center bombings (the first ones). At least they didn't start an endless war.
- cadmiumpaint, on 01/05/2008, -5/+39i've never liked her.....and she always looks pissed off
- cg4et, on 01/05/2008, -3/+35Booooooooooooooooooooooo!
Hey, you're right. That is fun! - exomni, on 01/05/2008, -0/+30Something like 50% of Obama's votes in Iowa were from people under 30.
If Obama is going to do well in New Hampshire, New Hampshire will need the same enormous turnout of young people. - inactive, on 01/05/2008, -1/+29Not since Kennedy (JFK&RFK) has a Presidential candidate so catalyze the under 30 crowd to actually feel like they can have a future worth living in. Keep it up Mr.Obama!
- puncikam, on 01/05/2008, -3/+29I'm pretty sure i'll be voting for Obama (if he'll be in the Presidential election). I sure hope he will have a landslide victory....however that's what I thought would happen with John Kerry (I voted for Kerry). I was disgusted when he didn't win. We need someone new with fresh ideas, and someone who cares about ending poverty. The best of luck for Mr. Obama!
- undy242, on 01/05/2008, -0/+26It's good to see the country realize they don't have to be stuck with Hilary as their Democratic nominee. Keep it going!
- an0nymous, on 01/05/2008, -7/+33One is an utterly corrupt and compromised Washingtonian creature.
One is not. - exomni, on 01/05/2008, -3/+28*applauds the booing*
- tubalcane, on 01/05/2008, -3/+27"Are they saying Boo or Boo-urns?"
"I was saying Boo-urns" -Hans Moleman - jazh, on 01/05/2008, -20/+42"Ready for Change" - My Only problem with Obama is the rhetoric... He said he wants change.
Yet he has no idea how he will control congress. He is being payed by the huge cooperation that Hillary is too...
As a Brit, he's shaping up to be just like Tony Blair... A great speaker... But nothing much after that. Heading towards great disappointment. Brace yourselves. - CloseTheCode, on 01/05/2008, -15/+35I dislike Hilary as much as the next person, but to compare her to Bush is absurd.
- Ramble, on 01/05/2008, -11/+31America is too dumb. You have the worst healthcare system in the first world, and one of the most expensive. Frankly, if you don't approve of national healthcare then you are an insufferable git.
- steppen79, on 01/05/2008, -0/+19Ya, I caucused for Barack here in Iowa and it honestly was all young people who made the difference. We swamped every single precinct under and Hillary's youngest supporter was about 85. I'm worried for other states because I don't think an influx of young people can make as big of a difference there; I hope some people out East are making some serious overtures to young community to get out and ***** vote for once.
- Iandefor, on 01/05/2008, -1/+20"Yet he has no idea how he will control congress."
I think I'd rather have a president that didn't try to control congress, but instead worked with them. - jayhawk, on 01/05/2008, -0/+18he's already bucked the trend of youth not voting. the caucus process is much more time intensive and difficult than a primary, yet he still brought out youth. that's telling and that's something past politicians haven't done well.
- wphj, on 01/05/2008, -4/+22Bill not Hill.
- inactive, on 01/05/2008, -2/+19None of you idiots quoting that line of ***** even know what Socialism really is.
- Mutton, on 01/05/2008, -2/+18Reality has a liberal bias.
- tuxerware, on 01/05/2008, -6/+22right, giving health care to everyone is not what the US is about. But socialized empire building is what the US is about!
- bsmang, on 01/05/2008, -4/+20I can barely understand what you're even trying to say. Do you use English often?
- CrimsonFate, on 01/05/2008, -6/+21The Clintons and Bushes are fast friends. I've seen them vacationing together in Portland, ME.
- bro2baseball, on 01/05/2008, -1/+16I tend to agree. I was at the dinner (front row!) and Obama is more like a rock star than a politician. It was electric in there.
- popothebright, on 01/05/2008, -4/+18don't get me wrong, I'd be happy with Obama -- but the man has provided precious little insight into how he's actually going to work his magic promises.
we're heading into the worst economic climate in the history of our nation, and he is promising a combination of LOWER taxes and INCREASED social services like health care.
where's the money going to come from? (and don't say it's going to come from ending the war, because those numbers don't work -- and we can't afford the war anyway). - inactive, on 01/05/2008, -0/+14hey hey hey BOO BOO! Can I get that pick-a-nic basket?
- thebrawl, on 01/05/2008, -0/+14This is an obamanation.
- daviddiaz, on 01/05/2008, -5/+18As little as I like Obama, I think he'd be the best choice for president regardless of who gets nominated for the GOP (we all know that Dr. Paul isn't gonna make it). Even though I highly dislike his socialist principles and universal healthcare and whatnot, at least he doesn't want to continue this idiotic war and launch a preemptive nuclear attack on Iran.
- thtroyer, on 01/05/2008, -3/+16As a Christian, I've got to digg you up -- because it's true.
It's really sad to see fellow Christians rally behind this guy. - switchman401, on 01/05/2008, -3/+16Hmm... Maybe that's why Obama wants to put a pretty penny into the education system. Brilliant!
- Sogui, on 01/05/2008, -3/+16It's refreshing getting linked to blogs from the respectable writers from Time... a nice break from the poorly written incoherent nerd-rage that we're often subjected to at Digg.
- ayeroxor, on 01/05/2008, -2/+15Cocreator: Canada, the entire United Kingdom, France, even Cuba, were all "stupid enough" to agree to take care of each other like a society portends. How has it affected these societies negatively?
