hotair.com — Marc Ambinder reported last night that a firm close to Hillary Clinton has purchased a new domain name: hrc2012.com. The Markham Group participated in high-level planning for Hillary in 2008, especially her “visual messaging”. Its partners actively worked on the campaign...

- ekday, on 07/19/2008, -0/+2I've always thought the Hillary would do what she could to help McCain win this election. Figured it would be an easier battle in 2012, than running against Obama.
- DanThePainter, on 07/19/2008, -1/+3You are assuming that an Obama administration would be successful. Since he is proposing a boatload of socialistic programs one should expect a lousy economy.
How would this play out in the run up to the '12 primaries? Would a "centrist" Clinton appeal to a beaten down middle class? Or, would a Blue Dog Democrat be more fitting after a GOP triumph in the '10 mid-term election backlash against the Messiah Malaise?- fadeout, on 07/20/2008, -4/+1Yeah, nothing has given us economic prosperity like the 8 years of getting pissed on by Bush's trickle down economics... gtfo, troll.
- DanThePainter, on 07/20/2008, -0/+4Eight years, fadeout?
Let's see. The Bush years started about ten months after the bursting of the tech bubble on Wall Street. So he inherited this situation. Nearly eight months later, seventh century barbarians launch a spectacular offensive in their war. Fear further grips the financial world.
The tax cuts, however keep more money in private hands and financial markets slowly rebound as economic activity revives. Economic activity is also picking up in China, India, and elswhere. This puts upward pressure on oil prices. (Internationally, most oil companies are largely government owned.) Domestically, a bubble in housing markets pops.
For you to insist that all eight Bush years were terrible ignores several good years.
Now, how am I a "troll" for posing my little scenario of a possible Obama administration? It is all speculation. Why not be creative and think up an alternate scenario? It is all in fun. You don't need to be so nasty. You can also speculate on what the "12 Elections would look like after a McCain administration.
I'll not gtfo, so deal with it like a civil person.
