But now the gov. spends the $$$ on guns, shrinks public libraries, keeps the public ignorant+passive w/ TV In Venezuela, the gov is not at war, wants an educated public, uses mules to get books into remote areas.

  • tom500k, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Oh, yeah, in Venezuela, which is at peace, the Gov. is adding new infrastructure like bridges, and replace old ones. Here in the US, our infrastructure is worn out (see MN tragedy...) with untold billions squandered on wars that leave us LESS safe. While weapons makers, the contractors, and the congressional whores back the Bush whores who enable the ripp-offs & laugh...
