- bdoga, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0It is imperative that people have a choice in education, without that we are all stuck in a monopoly. We don't let monopolies exist in the market place, because we don't like to pay high prices. What kind of high prices are we paying for having an educational monopoly. Vote for choice in Utah's education.
- Helibarry, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0we are paying a very high price for this monopoly, and I don't like the product that we are receiving. Let's do this.
- beckyhinton, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0We all have a choice in what education our children will receive. But this will allow those who feel they don't have a choice because of their financial status to no longer blame their child's poor education on the lack of money. Let's open peoples minds to the value of competition in the marketplace.
- desspec, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Vouchers will kill our schools so that rich people can get a bit of a discount on private schools, and the poor people can be herded into religious schools on the taxpayers dime. Not with my money, folks.
- lovedagny, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0"not with my money folks....."
Wouldn't it be great if instead of us all being FORCED into paying for "government schools" if we could instead use our own dollars and vote for what education suits our children best?
If you're going to look at it as 'your' money, isn't it also "mine"?
Why should we try to fix a system that has been broken since it's inception?
Thanks for your rash generalization.... - danathomas76, on 10/17/2007, -0/+0There are a lot of myths that are flying around out there about this whole issue. I am interested if you have read the myths section on the site that has been digg-ed? It might be worth your time.

- steverb, on 10/26/2007, -0/+0desspec, have you read the legislation? What you say...just taint so! Study it first, then complain.
Let some choice in, so we are not beholden to the monopoly on the corner!
