- kebinusan, on 10/20/2008, -2/+9Sounds like we have another red to blue candidate in need of a warchest of donations
- GutterMoo, on 10/21/2008, -0/+4No he is right. I'm fairly liberal and I can't stand Bible thumpers. Keep your religion to yourself.
- rastagnac, on 10/21/2008, -0/+4Funny how the hateful like to accuse others of hating. It's become a standard right-wing populist projection straight out of the O'Reilly-Limbaugh playbook. If "they" hate you (for your freedoms, your achievements, your religion), you now have a license to level at "them" all of your own loathing (as well as a healthy portion of destruction).
Right-wing populism is as deeply pathological as jihadism. If liberals win this fall, they would do well to treat the disaffected hate-mongers with a generous share of understanding, compassion and, yes, funding. More trickle-down economics and trickle-down politics ala Bill Clinton will only aggravate the American Fundamentalist mindset. - inactive, on 10/21/2008, -0/+4Real Americans don't vote GOP.
- BelatedHero, on 10/21/2008, -0/+3lol, they're so desperate.
- ferroussoul, on 10/21/2008, -0/+2Actually, liberals only hate the jerks like Hayes that have tainted and polluted the GOP into the party of fascism and hatred that it is today. Most liberals I know actually aren't that far left, because they're smart enough to realize that going too far left or too far right is bad.
America is all about choice of beliefs, and bringing about strength through our diversity. I look forward to Election day, when the true "REAL AMERICANS" prove that the only people who don't belong in our country are divisive hate mongers like Bachmann and Hayes. - vandernderyid, on 10/21/2008, -0/+2People gave $700,000 to Michele Bachmann's Democratic challenger in 72 hours following her appearence on Hardball.
This is Larry Kissell, Robin Hayes' Democratic challenger: http://www.larrykissell.com/
Kissell ran against Hayes in 2006, and barely lost (DKos shows the district as 50/50 in the 2006 election). A $20 contribution can make a huge difference.
Let's kick the agents of intolerance out of Congress. There's audio at Politico to prove he said it. - drmobutu, on 10/20/2008, -1/+2Where have you been?
- awasson, on 10/21/2008, -0/+1He [McHenry] yielded the microphone to Representative Robin Hayes, who prefaced his comments by saying it was important to “make sure we don’t say something stupid...
I think they're a few "hate rallies" late for that! - aileron220, on 10/22/2008, -0/+0Contribute to his opponent here: http://www.actblue.com/page/larrykissell
- parisii, on 10/21/2008, -0/+0funny. Obama has consistently had support from white professionals - you know, those achievers this ***** loves to disparage.
Isn't McHenry the gay guy who was involved in some murder triangle? I bet Palin would love to campaign with him. And Dobson, too. That's what's pathetic. McHenry's own party hates him and yet he campaigns for his own destruction. That's a definition of stupidty, McHenry. - parisii, on 10/21/2008, -0/+0not ONE PENNY to their hate-mongering churches. and the entire fed. govt. needs to be disinfected to get rid of the idiots who put creation stories in the Grand Canyon museum.
they will continue to attack Obama no matter what he does because that's the only thing that gives their lives any purpose: hate.
this is why they are christo-fascists, not christians.
