- swisscheese97, on 08/24/2008, -1/+13Is it November yet? I'm tired of all this foreplay... They should just move the election to this week so we could save money on champagne and party supplies (Obama win) or shotgun shells, gas masks, bomb shelters, and basic survival supplies (McCain win) during the labor day sales.
- inactive, on 08/24/2008, -0/+10That argument makes no sense. At least some of the other panelists gave him the "WTF?" as well.
- KnockItOff, on 08/24/2008, -1/+10Yes he has. He sat down with reporters and answered their questions until they didn't have anymore questions. It was not very exciting so the story did not get a lot of air time because their was nothing scandalous to report.
- ObamaWins08, on 08/24/2008, -0/+8And the other night, McCain's campaign attacked Obama forsaying the next President (instead of VP) when introduciing Biden, stating it was a pyschological admission of who really would be in charge of the Oval Office if Obama won. Of course this is stupid and Obama just misspoke, but the fact is that this occurred because of what Obama's campaign was doing when McCain would misspeak.
Both campaigns need a gut check and both need to start focusing on the issues instead of the kindergarten crap. - atdigg, on 08/24/2008, -2/+10I don't think that's true, I don't think middle and low income people like the idea that one presidential candidate cannot even count his houses.
- inactive, on 08/25/2008, -3/+6LOL
Yeah, and if McCain killed a baby on the air, why that would FINISH Obama! - MoeWasHere, on 08/25/2008, -0/+3Will never happen. And unfortunately we all know it.
Lord knows, the RNC will just keep hammering away with fear mongering and childish ***** such as this; as they always have.
The democrats might as well reply in kind to, unfortunately, "neutralize" those types of attacks. - Hellman109, on 08/25/2008, -3/+4So your country is up the creek without a paddle and you still worry about small things like this?
This just in: dont vote for someone cause their tie wasn't dead straight!
Here in Australia the political process is focused on the budgets both sides release, and their policies. You know, what governments are responsible for.
In the US you make it like the show Big Brother: Drags on forever and people are voted off for the stupidest crap. - inactive, on 08/25/2008, -2/+3Way to show you had your head up your ass.
Most McCain supporters seem to.
Try googling it, you lazy rightard. - aussiejan, on 08/26/2008, -0/+1I think the best part of the Australian elections is the 6 week campaign period before the election. This nonsense of campaigning for a year or two is nuts. Nothing seems to get done.
- cjdunn, on 08/25/2008, -1/+2And this genius used to be the Political Director for ABC News!
What'a'maroon! - chubbybubba, on 08/25/2008, -3/+4I agree that it is a nonissue and potentially may backfire. Obamacrats and Obamadiggers seem to think the "how many houses you have" argument means anything. It doesn't. Middle class and lower have always assumed presidential candidates had money and were successful. It is really odd that some people seem to make such an issue of it as if it were better for a presidential candidate to be poor or something. Get to the real issues people. We don't care how many houses McCain or Obama have.

Would you elect Obama mayor or governor or to run your company ?
What real job would his resume offer ? - davidg11, on 08/25/2008, -4/+3Poll: More than half of Clinton backers still not sold on Obama
By Susan Page, USA TODAY
DENVER — Fewer than half of Hillary Rodham Clinton's supporters in the presidential primaries say they definitely will vote for Barack Obama in November, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds, evidence of a formidable challenge facing Democrats as their national convention opens here today.
In the survey, taken Thursday through Saturday, 47% of Clinton supporters say they are solidly behind Obama, and 23% say they support him but may change their minds before the election.
Thirty percent say they will vote for Republican John McCain, someone else or no one at all. - inactive, on 08/24/2008, -9/+3Has Obama ever made an answer about the Rezko charges? He needs to get that out of the way. Ignoring it will just make it fester.
