Google Sativex and shed Fred. - jftous13, on 01/12/2008, -0/+1Very well done article, an excellent choice of a candidate for endorsement, for a true Leader of Men, and President of the United States of America. Our nation does need a deep and thorough thinker with a depth of knowledge of the country its base and of the world and who is unafraid of most everything--especially difficult decisions. You have chosen well--when the democrats don't want HIM but are delighted with a couple others, you know you have done a fine job! .....FRED for President on ' 08....
- Eagleyed, on 01/12/2008, -0/+0The article s an excellent analysis of both Fred Thompson and the situation our nation finds itself in. We are sorely in need of another movement conservative administration to reset the course of our ship of state before it founders on the rocks of popular culture.
Electing any of the other candidates would do as much harm to the future of our nation and our grand-children's grand-children as does making icons and role-models of the likes of Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, and Brittney Spears.
We should take much greater care of this precious gift given us by God, our republic, than that. We should care for and nurture it and place it in the care of those whom we would place the care of our progeny.
Because I fear we have forgotten that, that is exactly what we are doing.

I agree with this article when it comes to Thompson though, this plea towards the end to step it up. I have said all along, why does he act like he doesn't really want to be president? Fine you are allowed to pass up the Iowa Straw Poll, no big deal, but you really didn't campaign in Iowa, thus the weak showing. I am not sure how he did campaigning in NH, but I do know that he didn't even stick around for the results. Is it just me or does he act just a little bit arrogant?
Living in Iowa, I cannot tell you how many pieces of mail I got from candidates and phone calls. Fred Thompson? Nothing. It can't be a lack of money.
At our caucus site, a friend of Thompson's spoke on his behalf, he drove all the way from TN. So somebody believes in him, to the extent that the gentleman speaking clearly said that they pushed him to be a Senator and pushed him to run for POTUS. And that is so very clear. It almost seems that someone is behind him with a hot cattle prod.
Are you in or out Thompson? - MadKennyP, on 01/11/2008, -1/+1Human Events?? Hahahahahahahahahahaha!!
- Imasubmarine, on 01/11/2008, -0/+0In these difficult times, the country could use a president who is a deep thinker, as was Reagan. Fred offers specific plans for many of our greatest problems.
