- axelgrease, on 12/12/2008, -0/+23this guy was a dumbass, of course who knows what other deals go on under the table in politics
- inactive, on 12/13/2008, -0/+21They're forgetting the fact that he refuses to make use of the governor's mansion, yet still uses tax dollars to keep a full staff there. And chooses to fly private jets between Chicago and Springfield, because, you know, he can't be bothered to drive like any normal human being. It's funny to think that we all thought George Ryan was a scumbag...
- TIGHTY1515, on 12/12/2008, -1/+17Hah this dude's hair is terrible!
- MoDiggity455, on 02/27/2009, -1/+14What do you want, Blago? "The world, Chico, and everything in it..."
- hvsahin, on 12/12/2008, -0/+13Sometimes I just wonder how the hell some people can be so terribly removed from the realm of reality.
- yorkhock, on 12/12/2008, -1/+13I kinda like Blago's style.
- iPodAddict181, on 12/13/2008, -0/+9Sometimes I just wonder how some Americans can put an incompetent into office, after all, they chose.
- alanocu, on 12/12/2008, -4/+13asylum should stick to writing about penthouse pets, giant smurf balloons and epic photobombing moments in the history of the world. After just "reading" about the best celeb nude scenes in 2008, it seems awkward to have an article on "politics" between Salma Hayek's breasts and strip club etiquette.
- b3astie, on 12/13/2008, -0/+8Politics is show-business for ugly people.
- omgwtfrotfl, on 12/12/2008, -1/+8Love the hair.
- n0t0kayipr0mis3, on 12/13/2008, -0/+7What a scumbag
- EchoAlpha, on 12/13/2008, -2/+9The first time he got elected because the republican before him was giving away truck drivers' license for bribes, which resulted in the death of 6 children.
He got re-elected because the republican (Judy Barr Topinka) didn't seem any better than he was. We had a choice between a douche and a turd-sandwich. - FriedSperm, on 12/13/2008, -1/+7Blago is my new role model.
- bigfruitbasket, on 12/13/2008, -0/+6Blago is UN...F***ING believable. What an ego. What command of the English language. What a policitian. Illinois, you elected this dirt bag. Now you have to unseat him. Prison will do just fine for him. Too bad he's not in the mob. Would have made a great mobster.
- deadapostle, on 12/13/2008, -0/+6Governor Blagojevich, what is best in life?
"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women" - MrOllie, on 12/13/2008, -0/+4This article is hilarious.
- pyrobaby, on 12/14/2008, -0/+4Holy *****, are you un-ironically admitting you listen to Rush Limbaugh? In 2008? Even my hardcore Republican friends gave up on that blowhard years ago..
- RealHyperX, on 12/13/2008, -3/+7Chicago Tribune just linked Blago to Obama. Obama ***** LIED!
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chi-rahm- ...
Change or same old? LOL! Liberals are idiots to put so much stock into Obama. - vastness, on 12/13/2008, -1/+5"it kind of smells like Nixon & Watergate"
Yeah, but... Nixon was... guilty, right? I mean if you're trying to deflect criticism maybe you should pick a better example, or was that your subconscious screaming the truth at us, Blagoblablavich. - RealHyperX, on 12/14/2008, -0/+4Really? I guess my hearing comprehension is bad too, because during Thursday press conference Obama said none of his staff talked about the seats. Now we find there was a list. Nice try buddy.
- betheturtle, on 12/13/2008, -1/+5i think we all know what goes on under the table.
- BrewBeau, on 12/13/2008, -0/+4Considering that "guilt by association" is all Rush needs to rant, yes that's plenty of ammunition for him.
- wordybutdirty, on 12/12/2008, -2/+6I like anything shoved between Salma Hayek's breasts.
- pinchduck, on 12/14/2008, -0/+3This is Chicago. The real question is: How does a non-corrupt person get elected. Answer? He doesn't. A previous Illinois governor is already doing time. Apparently you leave office for a jail cell in Illinois.
- cyberprunes, on 12/14/2008, -0/+3I hereby dub his haircut.... "The Bronson"
- inactive, on 12/14/2008, -0/+3U.S. presidential material.
- betheturtle, on 12/13/2008, -1/+4And... this is why I hate the internet.
- EmperorAwesome, on 12/13/2008, -0/+3I prefer Blowjobavich.
- DifferentAngle, on 12/13/2008, -0/+3Jack Ryan was supposed to become president...
- vastness, on 12/13/2008, -0/+3"I want to make money."
Does anybody know the going rate for making license plates in Federal Pens?
"Blago had an ingenious idea to shake down the wealthiest men in America."
W... T... F?! Staggeringly delusional.
"remake his image in consideration of a possible run for president in 2016."
This oughta do the trick just fine... or not?
"Is this a joke?"
Are you? Yes. Yes, you are a joke.
Long live Chicago! I love Buddy Guy (seen 'em 4 times) & the Chicago blues sound (which is actually different than Buddy's sound), I really wanna check out your library & your museums and go to the Chicago Blues Festival. I wanna go there and check out the architecture and eat your pizzas and your hot dogs. And some really hot chicks come from Chicago, too. Nothing but love for you all, but Illinois may have just overtaken Louisiana as the most corrupt state in the Union. - Autodidaddict, on 12/13/2008, -1/+4Voting for Keyes is not really something to be proud of....
He is against abortion, even in cases of rape and incest.
He has basically stolen money from previous campaigns by allotting himself 6-figure salaries out of campaign funds.
Keyes stated the view that U.S. Senators should be appointed by state legislatures and no longer elected by the people, which would in essence be a repeal of the 17th Amendment (wait...this is interesting in light of recent events)
Keyes, like Cheney has a gay daughter who he's disowned, or at least cut out.
Keyes supports establishing state-sanctioned prayer in public schools
Keyes supports a military draft even though he dodged serving in Vietnam with deferments.
Keyes filed a lawsuit on November 14, 2008 against the California Secretary of State, President-elect Barack Obama, Vice President elect Joe Biden, and California's 55 Democratic electors seeking to challenge Obama's eligibility for the US Presidency.
There's a lot more that I could list but I didn't too. Keyes has ran for nearly every political office in many many states and has gotten his ass kicked every time (and rightfully so).
This guy is a waste of space, just another example of what's wrong with Republicans and politicians in general - jdubu37, on 12/13/2008, -1/+3only in chicago
- jdubu37, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2This guy is the quintessential douchebag. doesnt get much worse.
- quaxon, on 12/14/2008, -0/+2There's no better proof that Americans are generally idiots than the governor of CA.
- EmperorAwesome, on 12/13/2008, -2/+4Don't blame me, I voted for Keyes.
- vastness, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2I do too. Thanks!
Is that like an inside Illinois joke? - inactive, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2What's up with his hair? Is he auditioning to play one of the Beatles in the bio-pic?
- bduddy, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2He got the most votes?
- timedalkat, on 12/14/2008, -0/+2I'd say his number 1 blunder was talking ***** about the Bank of America the day before the feds arrested him.
- Autodidaddict, on 12/13/2008, -2/+4Jack Ryan wasn't the reason why Obama won the senate seat. Obama would have won pretty much no matter what. Illinois GOP had absolutely no decent candidate. Hence they bring in Alan Keyes, who although he might not be as corrupt per say as Blagojevich, he is just as ***** crazy.
- joshwehatetech, on 12/13/2008, -3/+5This senate seat is full of so much fun and so far has taken down a handful of people in a short span of a few years.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Ryan_(Senate_can ...
If you are unaware of how Barack won the seat it is an interesting read. - pyrobaby, on 12/14/2008, -0/+2This article was basically stuff we all already heard about, I was hoping for some NEW crazy *****. :(
- EmperorAwesome, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2All me, baby. I started around the time tolls rose to about $26.50.
- inactive, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2Are you serious?
- shiftkgb, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2Yeah but when the petition went around to recall him, no one stood up. New Jersey gets what it deserves, weve been electing corrupt officials for years.
- gquaglia, on 12/13/2008, -0/+2We got one here in NJ, his name is Jon Corzine. I'm sure we'll be reading about him as well. He's probably as dirty as this tool, but just hasn't been caught yet.
- pyrobaby, on 12/14/2008, -0/+2Oh jesus here we go again with the guilty-by-association, "I have reading comprehension issues" crap again. Same verse, same as the first, a little bit louder and a little bit more retarded...
- pyrobaby, on 12/14/2008, -0/+2why?
- Diggalicious3, on 12/15/2008, -0/+2I think you're confusing Illinois with Iowa, or Indiana. It's an easy mistake, because no one would call a state with the third largest city in America (Chicago), as well as several excellent colleges, a fly over state.
- dtr300, on 12/14/2008, -0/+2He stopped all executions after an investigation revealed how poorly capital crime trials had been conducted in Illinois. See http://deadlinethemovie.com/characters/governor_ge ...
I do respect him for that. Can you imagine George Bush ever doing something similar in Texas? -
