Government: Nation's Spies Got $43.5 Billion in 2007
blog.wired.com — The nation's spy bureaucracies, including the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency, received $43.5 billion in taxpayer money in 2007, the Director of National Intelligence reluctantly announced Tuesday.

Furthermore, if we believe the Bush Administration, our intelligence community is ***** worthless, because they provided us with the faulty intelligence that led us into a quagmire in Iraq. (one could argue that the bush administration had good intelligence, but cherry picked it for their own war-mongering agenda, but that may be a stretch. /s)
the bottom line is that our "intelligence" is way too expensive, way too invasive, way too over-reaching, and obviously NOT WORKING to provide a valuable service to American citizens.
disband these organizations and cut my taxes proportionately.
