- SoyJames, on 10/25/2007, -2/+5My fellow Americans, I come here tonight to ask you a favor. We need $8,000 per person in your family, to go bomb Iraq into smithereens, take Saddam Hussein out of power, and establish a DEMOCRACY in the middle east. That's $8,000 for you single people, $16,000 for you married folk, $24,000 if you have one child, $32,000 if you have two. You can mail your checks directly to the IRS.
Oh, and we may need some more cash after that, because Iran and Syria and Al-Qaeda may take that opportunity to increase their global power. So just keep those checkbooks handy.
Thank you and goodnight,
George - Jereome209, on 10/26/2007, -0/+6Dollar at all time lows. Inflation on the way.Hold on tight its going to be a bumpy ride.

- superfusion, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2Actually, my share's not $8000. From Canada, it looks like $1.03 is what I got outta the war.
- advancedOption, on 10/25/2007, -0/+1It's time for the exodus... everyone move to Mexico!

- swrostmore, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2I'd gladly pay $8,000 in extra taxes to the government if it was for a just cause.
- skidme, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2What about the national debt? Don't we owe that too? I think that's been calculated at around 23K per person in the US.
