  • Gwellyn, on 07/20/2008, -0/+0If you read about Al Gore and his family, you will see a pattern of people, who's decisions and motivations are not profit oriented. He was raised as a middle class kid, although they were rich. His father never let big buisness or the need for votes keep him from doing the right thing for the economy or the best long term interest of the people. I think if Gore says he can be more productive this way than in the arena...that's his reason. Besides, could you imagine being a well intended man and having to be the "vice" president to those with less nobel goals? I too would like to see him as President, as I'm sure would those that actually elected him to the Presidency 8 years ago. But first he was stuck as the Clinton administration's vice pres. Then he runs fro himself and after all that stress and money it comes down to the deciding state being Governed by his opponants cousin, who then pulls an election fast one...and gets away with it! Would you stick your head back in that arena again?!
