- randf, on 10/31/2007, -1/+7hey google, how's that "do no harm" slogan working out?
- waicool, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Google just lost my endorsement, it wouldn't be so bad if they were consistent. They sure didn't protect the Blackwater trademark the same way they are sheltering the terrorist lovers over at moveon.org (oh, i am sorry, can i use their name?). Google = Terrorist enablers.
- Mjollnir, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Standard socialist (liberal) tactics. They claim to be for free speech...that is, unless it conflicts with their own viewpoints, and then they want to ban / censor it. Google probably got a large "contribution" from George (the Antichrist) Sorros...the man who destroyed his own country, almost financially wrecked Great Britain, and now has his intentions set on destroying America.
- LeadOffMan, on 10/31/2007, -1/+4Google a bunch of communist jerks. I'll never use them again
- greenmountain, on 10/14/2007, -0/+1This is incredibly bad news.
Trust every large organization to abuse its power for its own ends.
Every large organization abuses power.
It does not matter iuf you like them or not.
This is totally outrageous. - everysandwich, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm no trademark expert, but I'd guess the trademark rules might be unique for an advocacy non-profit attempting to influence and persuade in the sphere of public debate, especially since Moveon.org has essentially made itself a public figure. I'm still wondering why they weren't sued for libel for the Patreus ad. Just one more example of Google inexorably becoming what it professes to hate.
- jarofclay, on 10/18/2007, -3/+1Whoa whoa... Its nothing personal they do this for everyone and it has NOTHING to do with MoveOn.org. RTFA It's all about trademarks. I can't put up a website that uses "Dell.com" in the advertisement (Dell is fine, but not Dell.com). Go try and make an ad yourself. Google is not the enemy here, its the ignorant person who wrote this article that we should all be afraid of.
